Great location, amazing staff, clean and comfortable

This is a simple but clean and comfortable very central Hotel. Breakfast was fairly basic buffet. Staff were all super friendly and helpful including offering us a complimentary room extension due a late flight time.

Fantastic location, but the safety incident and total lack of staff support were shocking

We absolutely loved the excellent location right next to the Christmas market and the lovely view from our room. The daytime staff was generally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic but okay for starting the day.

Our stay was ruined by a serious safety incident when a heavy glass ceiling light fell late at night, shattering over our bed and the floor. There was no staff on site to assist us until the next day when they cleaned the pieces of glass. We were very disappointed that the management offered no apology for the dangerous situation the following morning. The floorboards creaked loudly with every step.

It has the best location in the city.

Breakfast was not upto the mark. Just few cheese and sliced meat option. Maybe due to off season. Surprisingly no water kettle in the room.

Fabulous location

Very traditional hotel in one of the best spots in Baden Baden. The room was enormous and looked straight out over a beautiful square with cafes, which was right on the Lichtenthaler Allee. Staff were lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It was very hot when we stayed in Baden Baden and the room had no air conditioning, but we were given an electric fan. Because the room was so large and with high ceilings, this stopped it from getting too hot, but it was still very hot in there.

A centrally located historic hotel at the heart of Europe's summer capital city

I loved the central location at the heart of Baden Baden. My room was surprisingly large, round and surrounded by balcony providing a 240% view on the theatre and cure house. This was quite extraordinary. I loved the large bathtub where i could chill when the weather got too hot. There was a table with chair on the balcony, and a work station desk and sofa with coffee table, and lots of storage and space, all of which was very convenient. Breakfast was rich and nice, staff very kind and welcoming. It was an amazing place to spend a few very relaxing days .

I was there during a heathwave and the room was a bit warm in the evening. Since it overlooks cafe and restaurant terraces, people with small children were hanging out there till past midnight, the kids shrieking andvthe parents shouting at them, which made it a bit difficult to sleep.

Great central location in the town. This is my 3rd time in this hotel. We were in the circular room with a balcony on the 2nd floor. Beautiful room, lots of space. Great bathroom off to one side with a two person bath, double sinks and a lovely shower. Hotel is spotless as usual and a great breakfast in the breakfast room. Staff are wonderful too, especially the lovely cleaning ladies! Will be staying here again!

Beautiful night in the heart of Baden-Baden.

The hotel is very much in the center of Baden-Baden. The room was very clean and confortable. Breakfast was versatile and delicious. Staff was really friendly. Highly recommend a stay!

We loved Baden-Baden, and we were right in the centre of it.

We had the circular room on the 4th floor and it was fabulous! with a dressing room and a marble bathroom, it was very Victorian and with lovely views. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the hotel owners were very pleasant people indeed.

I did not use the breakfast facilities, due to early check out and I didn't connect to the wifi as I had roaming. Overall, I was only there for 1 night and I had to check out early so, I spent a very minimal time in the hotel. The location was great.

Everything was perfect. The owner extremely nice. We'll most certainly come back. Very central. Walking distance from the baths. The room was quiet, big. We would highly recommend to stay in this hotel. The price is really affordable given the overall quality.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in downtown Baden Baden and close to all of the sights and shops. The owner of the hotel was particularly friendly and helpful.

Super location on top of restaurants and cafes. These closed at midnight so no sleep lost. Hotel is very clean with great beds and very friendly and helpful staff. It is an old building that has had modern renovation to the rooms. Will be back here.

Wonderful - we’ll definitely be back!

A wonderful hotel with friendly staff and a super location - I really can’t fault it! We were a family of two adults and three children and they gave us the penthouse with balcony and a joining children’s room! Fantastic staff and location the only regret was not booking in the restaurant. Thank you!

Trying to find a negative would be the lack on air con but it didn’t affect us.
