Very good if you can find it!

Central location, newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, quiet, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

It was VERY difficult to find. The main entrance is under refurbishment, hidden by scaffolding and completely inaccessible. There is no notice on the main entrance to say where to find the alternative entrance, nor did any of the locals that I asked know the way.

A good hotel, with a serious issue

The hotel itself is very good — the staff are polite and helpful, and the overall experience was pleasant. However, there’s a serious issue with the location information. The address listed is on the main street of Baden-Baden, but the actual entrance and location of the hotel are completely different. It’s hard to believe this hasn’t been corrected yet, which is quite strange and confusing for guests.

Good location and nice rooms but probably not the place for a larger than average 4 person family.

Nice clean rooms with lots of facilities. Warm welcome on arrival. Close to town centre.

Family of 5 so had to book 2 rooms (not unusual but a little irritating and obv increased cost somewhat). Unable to sit together as a family for breakfast as tables for a max of 4 people. Asked if we could move a chair and told no so one of us had to sit and eat alone.

Luxurious

The rooms were so beautiful and luxuriously decorated and furnished. The beds were fantastic and big. We loved the bathroom with a luxurious shower. Very nice staff. Located in the center of the city. Very quiet. The breakfast was pretty average - remember to ask for cheese and toppings. The staff here was excellent too.

Very bad.

Be aware. Be aware. Don’t believe what you see in those pictures. The hotel building in the picture is under construction for the past 3years. If you booked this hotel they will tell you to go to a different location. It is a totally different hotel. Not a 4 star hotel at all. I don’t know why they didn’t update the pictures at all

Lovely people, location and hotel!!

Excellent hotel with beautiful and current decor. We loved our triple room (#3). The heavy door and windows blocked out any noise from other guests and exterior sounds. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Loved the thick curtains which blocked the sun and assisted in our sleep. The employees were very friendly. We had the best eggs and breakfast of our entire 2 week Europe trip. The people and property were exceptional!! We will be back!!

The only issue was the pull out mattress was slightly too hard. That is the only thing negative about the experience!!

It's an elegant old-world style hotel and very comfortable with good location.

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. My visit was for the Christmas market and baths. The location was in the middle of them. The rear of the hotel has pretty scenery with a balcony overlooking a park setting. The breakfast is typical European breakfast with wait staff catering to drinks and anything you needed not on the buffet. The hotel gave us a basket of towels and bathrobes to take to the baths. We only had to travel with our flip flops which was great!

i have stayed at the hotel several times as its a great location with secure parking. the staff are friendly and helpful the breakfast buffet is great

on this visit i was only staying for a short time and just went for a room on the front of the hotel facing the road. as it was a very warm night i had the balcony doors open and had a very early morning awakening by some workman in the street. best to try to go for a garden view in the warmer months as the rooms don't have aircon

Wonderful combination of traditional late 1800s yet with all mod-cons. Superb location at the heart of Baden Baden. I also forget my photographic tripod and the staff very kindly immediately sent it on to me by DHL. Superb service

It was unbelievable to stay in that room without air conditioning in that summer heat. Complete torture. The worst hotel experience of my life. How would they sell such rooms without AC in August heat? Total disappointment and loss of money

Absolutely perfect location, gorgeous park behind the property. the staff were incredibly kind throughout the stay. the room was huge (junior suite) and was clean, comfortable and pleasant. the property was a beautiful blend of old world elegance and modern conveniences.

The family room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant opened early. The staff, both at the desk and in the breakfast room, was very friendly.
