good location

I upgraded to a comfort room and this gave us an balcony and a view of the theatre. This was nice though not used to sit out on as wet. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Disappointed with just body wash in the bathroom , the dispenser was not the best. Tea and coffee and water provided. Also if you did not have the room cleaned they gave you treats as a thank you - water- chocolate. The is also a sauna on site which we used. Break fast was ok, slow to refill items and the hot water for tea was in dispensers so this was not hot. Reception is not always manned which is slightly unhelpful. Hotel stored our luggage before check in and after check out that was really helpful. There are also discounts the hotel shares for local activities which was good.

Breakfast was excellent, varied and most enjoyable. Location was good. Close to all amenities especially the christmas markets. We wish our stay could have been longer.

Old fashioned in a bad way

Good Breakfast.

Access by stairs to the lobby, low room attic roof even for average sized people. No owned parking by the hotel, needed to guess the nearest private one that was crossing the street and pay 22 Euro a night. Smelly room and dusty carpets. Small and aged TV with no streaming capacity. 10 to 15mis walk to central area

A stylish hotel that combines charm with comfort.

My room felt cozy, impeccably clean, and modern, with brand-new furnishings and equipment. It was thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything I needed. It truly felt like a luxurious stay. The bus stop is conveniently located right outside the entrance, making it incredibly easy to reach from the train station.

Perfect for a short stay in baden Baden

Good location in front of the opera. Clean and modern hotel with very good bedding. Breakfast was delicious. Room is quite cozy and perfect for our one night stay at baden baden. No parking in the hotel but public parking right across the street (we paid 17 euros for an overnight)

Room was clean and tidy. Location was within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great value at best location and not over-priced

An old hotel, tradition. But very up-to-date. Small rooms but with every convenience. Breakfast had great variety and was plentiful. Directly opposite the Festspielhaus. If you go to a concert, be sure to reserve at the italian place downstairs in advance. Otherwise you can sit in the breakfast room after the concert. Also comfy.

We chose the hotel because of proximity to Festspielhaus. Breakfast is very good, beds are very comfortable.

The hotel is located between two streets with a lot of traffic, so it was noisy in the room.

we stated that we were 5, including children. Normally they add an extra bed to the suite or big room that you book and that is included in the booking. When we got there they say they expected the child to share the (double bed- Not an extra large double bed) with us. We therefore had to pay extra for the bed (30Euros, which is normal) or 40 Euros for another room x one next to the bedroom we had. I had never been expected to have the child in my Bed before! We booked 2 rooms, one extra large so that we could have this with the extra bed and they stated it was for 5 ( but not that you have to pay extra for the extra bed!)

The hotel is situated just in front of the bus stop that you will need to take a bus from in order to go to the train station and from there to the airport. The room and especially the bathroom were exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was very poor. Few choices, small quantities, and we were watched by a staff member all the time we were around the food :D I think the quality of the cheese was not great and there was not a lot of choice for a vegetarian.

It was definitely a pleasure staying here.

The room was spotless, and the bed was super comfy. Besides that, I recommend the breakfast; they offer the waffle machine, which is my favourite!

Exceptional

Breakfast was very good. The room is a bit small, but was what I needed. I was there to be out of the hotel and not spend that much time in it, so it was perfect. The restaurant downstairs (the Italian restaurant) is excellent. Great location, especially if you are seeing a show at the Festspielhaus. Great location to walk to the city center, and through parks.

The bathroom was narrow and could give a few more centimeters to feel less confined.

Highly recommended classic hotel

Great location for me - opposite the Festspielhaus, as I was attending concerts there. It's a little out of the main town of Baden-Baden, but only 5 - 10 minutes walk to the centre, with its many shops and restaurants. The local buses stop right outside the hotel. Very helpful staff, all of whom spoke good English. Good sized room, with excellent air conditioning, tea/coffee, minibar etc... Bathroom was a bit small with shower (no bath) but all very clean and tidy. A classic looking hotel but with good modern facilities.

Breakfast was ok, usual bread rolls, jams, ham, cheese, cereals - but very little hot food (just scrambled egg). A little more choice/variation would have been good, but it's a minor quibble.
