Perfect getaway in Baden-Baden

We can’t wait to visit again

We loved the location. What a lovely way to walk to the city center, meandering through a beautiful apple orchard that is open to the public. Julia is a great host and she bakes yummy breads and cakes, so breakfast was amazing. We also loved the coziness of having breakfast in front of an open fire and chatting with other guests.

Spa like , retreat like place and great host 😌

Julia was a great host. She provided healthy breakfast homemade buns, specially made spelled cakes with maca chiaseeds etc. Every morning I had the best breakfast and ambiance (woodfire breakfast nook) figs fresh garden tomatoes, and her kind smile made us felt like we were at a spa or retreat. Mt husband and I stayed in this quite and well furnished rooms in this BB. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody. Derya and David from Canada

Everything . I would go to Baden Baden again just to repeat the fantastic experience I had because of this Bed and Breakfast . The owner is the most wonderful backer and such a delight to talk to . Fluent English with a warm character.

There is no shower and you have to get into the tub to bath which is the old fashioned way and could be charming to some but I found it a little challenging

Exceptional

The place was an unexpected gem, calm and very well furnished. It is a bit outside of town but it is a very pleasant 25min walk through parks to reach the center. We got a really warm welcome from Julia who is putting lots of efforts in this place with the attention to the details and set an awesome breakfast for us in the morning. Highly recommended place

Difficult to find anything to put here but our walk back from town was in the darkness. So nothing to blame to the flat but if we come back one day, and I really hope so, we will probably take a cab instead walking back from town.

STYLE AND QUALITY IN ABUNDANCE

In short, everything. We stayed at Bed & Breakfast Grünes Gold am Leisberg for just one night while travelling south on the A5 motorway. The property is totally unique, with style and quality in abundance. Julia welcomed us on arrival, showed us to our room, offered drinks and made our dog very welcome too. The accommodation was actually 3 private first-floor rooms - bedroom, lounge and bathroom - all of which were very large (much bigger than we were expecting), and immaculately furnished and decorated. The bathroom had a superb corner bath and beautiful marble tiles. The vegetarian breakfast was served in the downstairs breakfast room, personally prepared by Julia, and consisted of a great selection of fruits, cheeses, breads, cereals, jams, fruit juice and eggs. All home-made and delicious. The centre of Baden-Baden is about a 30-minute gentle walk downhill through the gardens and park from Bed & Breakfast Grünes Gold am Leisberg. This is a great walk for anyone with a dog, with lots of space for off-the-lead exercise. We found the property relatively easily by the sat-nav, but we would offer one tip for future visitors - when entering Baden-Baden from the motorway on the main road 500, after passing through several sets of traffic lights, enter the tunnel, and part way through it, take the exit to the right. It curves round into the daylight, and you are then onto the streets that take you up to the accommodation. Parking is easy, adjacent to the front door. We would definitely recommend Bed & Breakfast Grünes Gold am Leisberg to anyone who wants a high quality stay in a beautiful property and setting, and within easy access to Baden-Baden town centre and the motorway. Exceptional place to stay

We had an absolutely amazing time! Julia was welcoming us as friends and it felt like home at every moment. She was very helpful with every single request and question. Home made breakfast every morning is very delicious and healthy. Property itself is so authentic and beautiful with an interesting history behind. Location is perfect - 15 min walking to Baden Baden city center, close to a big dog park (if you have a dog), next to Black Forest. We will stay here again 100% next time as it really feels like visiting a friend. P.S. There is also a huge bath to relax after a day hike.

Gelungenes spätherbstliches Wochenende im Grünen Gold

Auch im November ist das Grüne Gold ein Erlebnis, der fast leere durchsichtige Wald hat einen besonderen Charme! Tolle sehr ruhige Lage über Baden-Baden. Schönes altes, gepflegtes Haus. Perfekt sauber. Sehr freundliche, aufgeschlossene Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alle gebotenen Produkte sind von bester Qualität. Die selbstgemachten Süssigkeiten sind köstlich. Wir wurden sehr verwöhnt. Sicher gerne wieder.

Au calme et avec un chemin dans la verdure et les pommiers avant l'Allée Liechtenstein). Julia très accueillante et dévouée (réservation de restaurants grâce à elle). Très bon petit déjeuner maison.

Das Haus ist ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Kleinod ausserhalb der Stadt in absoluter Ruhe. Wir sind mit Leihrädern vom Bahnhof aus hingefahren, das hat sehr gut funktioniert. Julia ist eine tolle und leidenschaftliche Gastgeberin. Alles war mehr als sauber, das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen. Hund Theo ist süss. Man will schon nach 2 Nächten gar nicht mehr weg, man fühlt sich einfach sehr willkommen.

Ancienne maison rhénane magnifiquement aménagée au milieu d'un écrin de verdure. Très grande chambre de charme, au calme et offrant un confort exceptionnel. Notre hôte nous a offert un accueil et un service 5 étoiles. Petits déjeuners avec produits frais, variés et faits maison. Espace sécurisé pour les vélos. Emplacement un peu à l'écart de la magnifique ville de Baden-Baden, accessible très facilement à pied ou en vélo en quelques minutes, itinéraire de charme exceptionnel.

Le bâtiment est particulièrement charmant situé à l'orée de la forêt. C'est un ancien garage pour calèche avec pan de bois apparent. Ce qui était particulièrement appréciable est la gentillesse de Julia notre hôte: elle a été au petit soin avec nous, ce préoccupant de tous les détails possibles.

Ongelofelijk verblijf , we genoten !!!

Wat een fantastische B&B met een super lieve gastvrouw, ongelofelijk ontbijt, alles wat we konden wensen met vele locale producten , tot in de puntjes verzorgt. Om hier te vertoeven , geweldig !!! Mooie inrichting met veel kunst en een super goed bed waar u geniet van de stilte ! Baden Baden is op 30 min loopafstand en zo een prachtige stad met een groot park , rivier Oos en zovele andere dingen dat er te ontdekken zijn dat we zeker nog eens terug komen .

Heerlijk ontspannen!

Het was heerlijk om hier zonder andere gasten te zijn, het appartement boven ons was niet verhuurd dus we kregen een privé ontbijt met geweldige service van de gastvrouw.

Het appartement had twee toegangsdeuren, waarvan er eentje niet op slot kon, maar gezien we alles voor onszelf hadden in dit prachtige voormalige koetshuis was dat geen probleem.
