The hotel and staff are lovely. We want to come back the Baden Baden and stay there again!

Carmen who was on duty the night we arrived was wonderful! I'm sorry I don't remember her last name. Carmen was very helpful, professional, friendly and made us feel very welcomed. It was out first trip to Germany. Her warmth made her personality shine. We observed that she is also a very hard worker! Thank you Carmen.

Very good breakfast. Hotel staff very helpful. Valet parking was a plus. Very walkable and good restaurants and bars nearby. Lovely architecture. Activities nearby.

Room and bathroom were excellent. The breakfast was outstanding - they even whipped up a custom cafe latte for an Australian!

Central location, great breakfast and parking.

We stayed in Hotel Merkur for 2 nights & enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The location is very good and close to restaurants and the centre. We particularly liked being able to park right outside the hotel, although the parking is not free. We recommend the hotel & would stay again.

Good for us, may be difficult for others

The top floor room 402 had character and big windows, and it was relatively spacious. The breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful. We had a great stay here and the beds were very comfortable.

402 has restricted headspace and had beams across the ceiling and floors, which could have been seen as troublesome / dangerous. It could also be seen as a bad layout for a superior room. The elevator was slow.

Hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful and suggestive in what is in the area. When I asked for some assistance in various things - they responded extremely quickly and efficently. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and genuinely this was one of the best thank you

Very good

Great location, walking distance to all the main attractions and city centre. It took about 20mins via bus to get us close to the accommodation from the train station. Room size was spacious and breakfast was excellent, staff was also very friendly.

Our room was facing the main street and therefore, naturally, it was fairly noisy at certain times of the day and the evening.
