Hotel Heiligenstein

Lovely location in a quiet town. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. Service from the receptionist and most others was very friendly.

Perhaps for foreigners it should be clarified that the SAUNA IS NUDE, there were a couple of people walking about naked, which I understand is the norm in parts of Germany, but for international guests especially those with younger people travelling with it would be nice to enforce a different rule or at least stipulate this somewhere on a sign. The jacuzzis were out of order which should be mentioned at booking. The bath looked nicer than it was to actually sit in it, quite a strange design that hurts a taller persons back. Soundproofing is poor, through the walls we heard some inappropriate moaning during the night and early morning which isn't something you want to listen to. People talking loudly in the corridor woke us up. While the restaurant was good and the service at dinner was friendly, it was very expensive for what it was. €32 for a small cut of steak that was not seasoned at all was a little over the top, especially for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was disappointing, the breakfast staff were a bit cold, and the selection is small. Not to mention half of the cooked food tins were empty at 9:45am and they started clearing everything before breakfast hour was finished.

The junior suite was amazing from all points. Big warm and clean. Just amazing

Great, friendly hotel in a quiet village setting with great food and really helpful staff.

It’s a shame there isn’t a lounge area in case of bad weather and it would be nice to have drink making facilities in the room

Everything was top notch - the amazing room design, the comfy bed, the gigantic bathtub, the blinds that make the room completely dark in the morning, the picturesque wine fields views from the room and balcony, the lovely staff that so warmly welcomed us and helped us with dedication to contact our car rental company, the included high quality breakfast that not only serves the basic stuff but also includes fresh vegetables, salmon and a real fried egg (a very uncommon thing to find in a free breakfast in eu/us)! It just feels that they thought about ALL the details to make this a perfect stay.

Honestly it's really hard to find something we didn't like. I guess the internet quality could be improved a bit - we occasionally lost connectivity. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Germany.

The Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dinner was fabulous.

Loved the Suite style of the room, having a balcony, and the surrounding views. The room was very spacious and breakfast was delicious.

Everything was fantastic.

A very nice hotel, great room, comfortable bed and nice shower. Very quiet during day and night. The in-house restaurant offers great food and wine, highly recommended.

The hotel is easy to find but quite a way outside the city of Baden-Baden
