We had a very enjoyable stay in the fabulous Laurel bank guest house.

Breakfast was excellent. Gary and Sue were excellent hosts. Room was spotless with excellent bathroom facilities. Would highly recommend and hopefully we will return some time

Only negative of our trip to Keswick was the bad weather we had, literally rained all weekend but even Gary and Sue couldn't do anything about the rain!

Comfortable, perfect base for walking Keswick and surrounding areas.

Sue and Gary were very attentive from the start. Their knowledge of the local area and beyond was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean. 20 minute walk from Keswick can be done safely along the disused railway track which you can access 2 mins away.

Laurel house is a great, clean and friendly place to stay - a short lovely walk into Keswick without the hassle of parking as secure off road is available at the property. Gary and Sue are perfect hosts who tend to your every need, breakfast is superb with a wealth of choice from cereal, fruits, toast, full English, salmon, kippers and porridges- perfect 👌 Their knowledge of the surrounding area is priceless, offering ideas for long walks, short walks, scenic drives and activities to fill your days! A perfect stay thanks so much 🤩 would highly recommend a stay.

Great family Owned and Operated B&B

Beautiful property. Squeaky clean and well maintained. The best part is the home feeling and friendship with the owners. I loved the wonderful location, outside downtown but accessible throw a walking path along a river. Gary And Sue’s breakfast is fantastic. And their guidance was very helpful.

Really well situated, quiet and close to everything. Gary and Sue were welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the dogs.

Great Location with onsite Parking. Exceptional Breakfast and Lovely Hosts

Great Guest House with On Site Parking. The location was perfect Just a !0-!5 min walk into Keswick Town Centre on the old railway track. The Room was well stocked with tea coffee etc. Wi-Fi Was Very Good. We had a Beautiful view of Hills. The Bed was Very Comfortable and The Shower was Great, Just what you need after a Hike with Super Soft Fluffy Towels. Breakfast was Exceptional with Lots of Choice and Plenty of it. Sue and Gary are Super Hosts. Very Friendly and Helpful with Lots of Knowledge and Tips for the Area. We look Forward to Staying Again.

Lovely hosts, good breakfast, great location, very clean but extremely small bedroom and shower.

Bedroom was exceptionally small, we had to empty our case completely so that we could stand it on end as there wasn't even enough room to lay it on the floor, very claustrophobic. The shower was the smallest I have ever used making it very uncomfortable, literally no room to move! If you drop anything in the shower you have to get out of the shower to pick it up then get back in. Parking was provided free but very difficult to manoeuvre our car into the allocated space.

Sue and Gary were welcoming and charming hosts. Gary was quick to share his local knowledge of hikes and other activities, all of which enhanced our visit. (Be sure to ask about the delightful former railway path to the City Centre -- it's a great way to get to town.) The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was one the best we had on our trip. And the cook is devilishly handsome, so there's that.

Delightful break at Laurel Bank Guesthouse

Both hosts are always so friendly and lots of personal touches were provided during our stay. The rooms and dining room are exceptionally clean and the upkeep of the property is reflected. Well-catered breakfasts with lots of choices available. Made a fuss of our dog as well so 10/10

Not so much didn't like but would have upgraded to a larger room having the dog with us.

Lovely B&B, clean with great owners

The owners were really nice and tried to make my stay welcome, gave me advice and helped when I needed assistance. The room was very quiet and the other guests were respecful of the premises. Spotless entrance, breakfast room and very clean.

The B&B is about 1 mile from the centre of Keswick so a bit far.

Gary and Sue were fantastic hosts and they have a super B&B. Brilliant location and delicious breakfast! My wife and I had a lovely 3 night stay, Sue and Gary were so helpful with their recommendations and very attentive hosts.

Perfect place to stay

The owners, Gary and Sue, were so helpful and accommodating. We were with Swedish friends and the weather one day was very wet but they let us use the dining room to play games. The breakfast was very good and the fact there is a car park is a definite advantage. The property is about 20mins stroll into Keswick, but you can walk on the old train line which is very pleasant. We shall definitely stay here again.

The shower cubicles are on the small side - no problem for me but maybe for someone larger.

Great hosts & a great spot for a Keswick break

Sue and Gary were warm and friendly. They took their time to share local information and activities with us. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. Just a short stroll and we were right into the town centre. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend staying at the Laurel Bank

Had a great long weekend with relatives in a delightful guest house.

Great location with an easy walk into the town centre. Accommodation was really good - we had Room 2 which was really spacious and comfortable, a great shower room too. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Sue and Gary really helpful and attentive giving good advice as to how to get to places. Also had a really informative guide - sent as a link - which provided plenty of detail and enabled us to plan well … including suggestions for pubs, restaurants.
