Ok wouod not rush back not very relaxed

Too fussy too many rules complainedwhen our party could not check In at same time . Payment was hard work relied on man’s phone and he was out at work

The shower needs to be a power shower. Would have liked clean towels everyday. Needs a mirror you can move to use the hairdryer easier (maybe a small moveable one) as no plug socket near mirror (understandably due to the sink)

A great place to stay for a in the lakes.

The host was pleasant and helpful. The full English breakfast was a great start to the day. The location was only a short walk to the centre and parking was not a problem.

Little gem of a find

Dolly Waggon was a little gem of a find, we were on the top floor and the room was very spacious, tea & coffee supplied, and bottled water. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom was ample too. Dressing gowns provided too, but it was a bit warm for those 😄 Breakfast was delicious, everything you could wish for, cereal, fruit, yogurts, fruit juices, toast and the full English breakfast 😋 would definitely stay here again 😊we parked right outside the hotel and the walk into Keswick is about 5 minutes away, just perfect 😀

Really well maintained BnB! Excellent service, room was very clean and provided with everything you need. Breakfast was really good and had a great selection to choose from. Also in a good location with plenty of on street parking nearby. Would certainly stay here again!

Home away from home

Right in the heart of Keswick just 5 minutes from the stunning market square, Dolly Waggon is the perfect peaceful retreat. Bright, comfortable, welcoming and with a hearty breakfast, this delightful guest house was everything I needed to feel safe, comfortable and at home during my first solo adventure. The room was clean and well maintained with a good selection of tea and coffee; the shower was modern and user friendly; there was an excellent selection at breakfast; and after a long day's adventuring the room there was no better place to spend a peaceful, cosy night recharging.

Great choice of breakfast items constant supply of beverages, lovely dining room. Very lovely and welcoming hosts. Lots of local information available for activities , places of interest, public transport times along with weather conditions for those walking or climbing.

Parking can be difficult at times, but it's a very busy and popular area so was expected.

Since we were traveling with friends, it would have been nice if there was an area where we could spend time with them. The dining area was only open during breakfast. The staff was not as friendly as I would have expected. I got the impression that they really did not want to interact with their guests.

Ideally situated just a 5 minute walk into Keswick town centre. Comfortable room and bed: we slept very well. Attentive hosts and a lovely breakfast.

The toilet cistern in the room may need to be checked as it filled for an extended period of time after every flush. Not a complaint as we loved our stay but something that is probably an easy fix.
