Great value for money, wonderful owners, will be back!

I think the biggest thing I loved about my stay was the inclusivity, I am (reluctantly) gluten and lactose free, but this was accommodated with no hesitation or issue by the owners. I loved that oat milk sachets were included as standard in the room and I didn't have to ask (i can get embarrassed having to ask). The room was a little chilly for me on the first night, but a quick chat with the owner and he remedied it for me straight away. The bed was super comfy as well, which is always a huge bonus after long hiking days. I stayed in the single room, so my bathroom was separate to the room, but a lovely cosy dressing gown was provided. The location was a big big tick in the box as well. I didn't have to move my car all weekend and still was able to explore the town and complete some amazing hikes. All in all, a lovely stay and would 100% be back!

Finding a parking space on the first night was tricky but that's documented in the advertisement so I was already aware. Once parked up, there were no issues.

The location was absolutely fantastic, just a short walk from the town centre, with easy access to some lovely walking routes right on the doorstep. The cooked breakfast was excellent and included local produce, which was a nice touch; we especially enjoyed the Winter Tarn butter. Above all, the hosts were friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home.

The room was on the slightly smaller side, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs and came with a convenient en-suite bathroom. There was a minor mix-up at checkout regarding the payment for our dog’s stay, which had been included in the original booking. Unfortunately, this detail hadn’t reached the owners, so it wasn’t their fault at all but it did create a slightly awkward moment when I had to pull up the confirmation on my phone to clarify. A small thing overall, and easily resolved.

This hotel was clean, warm and welcoming. The proprietor was informative and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast menu was excellent,it was plentiful, fresh, well presented and delicious.

Must stay when in Keswick

The whole place was really clean, well decorated and cosy. The bed was the comfiest bed I think I've ever slept in! I love that you order breakfast the day before to minimize food waste. Breakfast was amazing! So many sauces/jams that are locally sourced. Hosts were super helpful and friendly. I can't recommend here enough, will definitely return.

Great location in Keswick close to lots of pubs and restaurants and within easy reach of the boat launch for getting around Derwentwater. Comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast cooked by lovely hosts!

Some noise from TVs and shower pumps in adjacent rooms (to be expected from an old property), but the showers are nice and powerful and the noise never lasted too long.

An excellent friendly B&B for a short stay in Keswick, close to shops, restaurants and the lake.

The property was located 5 minute walk from the centre of Keswick and 10 minutes to the lake. The room we had was quite compact but was well designed and had all of the features that we required. In particular it was quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the quality of the service matched very friendly and efficient.

I think I would have booked a slightly larger room, especially if we had been staying for a longer period. However, for the duration we were staying it was satisfactory. Car parking on the near by streets was hit and miss. However there was also also a large car park 10 minutes or so walk.

Our room {4} was very small and the bathroom was difficult to move around in and the shower cubicle was a tad tight. Our friends had room 2 and it was much, much bigger! If I’d have known beforehand I would have changed but hindsight is a wonderful thing

Great place to stay, perfect location for town. Clean, comfy and stylish. Like the fact that little things were thought of that mean a lot to a guest, like oat milk not just regular milk, throws and extra blankets, conditioner as well as shampoo. Our room was very spacious, the room was big enough that it had the beds at one end which created a large space that was a lounge area with a sofa which we loved. Great that the property had a drying room too.

Fantastic accommodation in Keswick

The B&B, hosted by Jon and Emma, is situated only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Keswick. There are five rooms and we had Room 2, the largest, on the first floor at the front of the property, for our four night stay. The property is spotless. The room was attractive and comfortable with a sofa and a separate chair. This was perfect for us on a longer stay as we could chill with plenty of room around us. There is a smart TV. The shower was also great. We had fluffy towels and quality pillows, duvets and linens. Jon and Emma are incredibly helpful with suggestions and helpful tips as to how to spend your time. There are many repeat visitors. Emma’s delicious breakfast is cooked to order and served piping hot by Jon. The ingredients are top quality and mainly locally sourced. Definitely the best breakfast I have ever had. I have wanted to visit Keswick for a long time now and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.

Friendly owners, very comfortable beds and lovely shower, tea and coffee available all the time, breakfast was one of the best we have had, definitely worth the price we paid.

My only problem (not such a problem really) was we had to have window open as it was quite warm, and everytime someone went to the loo and flushed it elsewhere in the building we could hear it, I’m such a light sleeper that it woke me a few times. But it wasn’t a drama and didn’t ruin our stay at all, just the way the houses are built 😀

Perfect stay in perfect location!

Fantastic property within 2 minutes walk of town centre and perfect base for walks. Hosts are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of area and happy to chat and give advice on good walking routes, where to eat etc. Superb breakfast options and good quality! Attention to detail in rooms is brilliant. Everything you need for a pleasant stay! We will definitely come again!

Great Location in Lovely Keswick

Great location for a stay in Keswick with pleasant hosts. We had two rooms for 3 nights. We only had the cooked breakfast one morning due to our early morning schedule. We did have a continental breakfast the 2nd morning.

I booked a room but did not get that room when I stayed. It would be best if they just had you choose a category of rooms rather than book a particular room. This put me off right away. Small bathroom which is pretty standard for Keswick.

Great place to stay for a visit to Keswick, I had a wonderful visit and was made very welcome by the friendly & helpful owner. Everything was very organised & well communicated and I had a lovely comfortable bedroom & shower room with nice touches such as toiletries and a bathrobe and the breakfast was delicious. Great hospitality and I would definitely stay again.

The property was in a great location and perfect size for our family.

Toilet for one room was on a separate floor and some of the guests were noisy in the middle of the night with giggling.
