Great location and lovely Mountain View’s. Fridge in room with fresh milk, water & also a microwave in our room. Lovely and warm once we turned the radiator up. Super kingsize bed.

There are some renovations going on so a skip was in one parking spot and 2 work vans parked when we arrived, despite this we did manage to get a parking spot outside.Some noise on arrival due to works ongoing. A very large camper van also parked outside which made accessing the steps to the front door difficult but great that parking is available if you are lucky to secure a spot. Shower not hot enough and poor pressure.

Great value for money with breathtaking views right in the centre of Keswick, would definitely stay again!

The window view was absolutely stunning and we liked having the little window seat to look out at it. Nice comfortable bed and thoughtful complimentary drinks in the fridge :) The whole place smelt lovely too, nice candles, sweets and dog biscuits in the hallway! We booked this last minute (an hour before check in time) and the host was helpful to get us in on time, great communication x

We had a lovely stay, if we had to be a bit nit picky the shower was a bit small and the head was a bit floppy too, but overall very happy :)

Perfect location for exploring Keswick with a very comfy bed for a good nights rest after a long day of hiking. Will definitely stay again when returning to Keswick and would recommend to friends.

Excellent views and location

Excellent location 1 minute walk to everything you needed. Lovely modern, bright, clean room with beautiful views of mountains. Nice touch having mini fridge in room with milk, water and drinks.

Mattress was too hard for us and got woken up just after 8am by workmen working in rooms above us even though we did not have to check out till 10am, so not a relaxing morning we were hoping for!

Lovely 2 days and nights in a wonderful town with absolutely stunning scenery and facilities.

We very much liked our host, who has a very welcoming and hospitable manner. There was building work being done in parts of the property about which our host apologised and afforded us a late departure time due to some noise being made around breakfast time on our 1st morning. The work did not affect us in any other way. We were in a small bunk room which was well equipped with small fridge, kettle, TV and was adequately heated. Shower room good. Lacked enough space for a chair to relax on whilst in the room, so need to use the bunk beds. Probably better for younger, fitter people than us, but no fault of the hosts. Pictures of the bunk room would have been useful for us to know in advance.

It was very central. Matty & Victoria had thought of everything from mini fridge with welcoming drinks, coffee/tea/biscuits, toiletries. It’s in a great location close to all the shops, bars & restaurants

Wonderful 3 night stay

What a fabulous place to stay in Keswick. The new owners are definitely putting a stamp on the place, with the newly decorated rooms boasting a fabulous new look. Bright, fresh, homely and with fantastic views to the nearby fells. We had the twin room, which was wonderfully spacious. Good sized bathroom, and some very welcome little extras like cereal, a few alcoholic drinks & fresh milk in the fridge. The bedding is SUPER comfy and soft, plus, the whole place smells gorgeous (the owners have a great taste in candles!)

Lovely bed, very nice bathroom. Really enjoyed the breakfast bar with Mountain View’s.

There was no hot water but the host was able to get this fixed within two hours so wasn’t a major drama. The room also smelled slightly of dog but that’s to be expected in a dog friendly room.

This was a great stay in a idillic location with an amazing view.

The property location was amazing and the Mountain View was absolutely incredible. The bed was so comfy and the welcome gifts/free food & drink were a lovely touch.

The only issue we found was with the shower. The head continually slowly dripped and the water pressure wasn’t amazing either but manageable.

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED

LOCATION AS WE HAD BEEN BEFORE

BOOKED EXPECTING BED AND BREAKFAST BUT GOT JUST A ROOM WITH A BED.JUST A CHEAP PACKET OF CEREALS FOR THE FIRST MORNING.THE HOSTS DID NOT ENTER THE ROOM TO CLEAN THE BIN OR REPLACE COFFEES OR TEA, INFACT NEVER SAW EITHER HOSTS UNTIL THE COLD WATER WAS TURNED OFF ON THE FOURTH DAY DUE TO PLUMBING PROBLEMS WHICH WE HAD TO COMPLAIN.WATER CAME ON AT 5PM SO WE COULD THEN WASH AND USE THE TOILET.IT WAS NOT CLEAR THAT BREASKFAST WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE SO A REFUND WOULD BE APPRECIATED. WE LEFT TWO DAYS EARLY BECAUSE OF WHAT WE HAD EXPERIENCED, HOPE FOR A POSITIVE REPLY, THANK YOU, TREVOR BAILEY WE HAD STAYED BEFORE AT THE SHEMARA SO EXPECTED A SIMILAR OUTCOME

Perfect location, clean room with lots of extras, microwave , fridge, plates and dishes , cutlery, gorgeous views , very comfortable bed .

The stairs were a little difficult for me personally as I use a crutch , but not for anyone without mobility issues, and the views more than made up for it . We have a larger car that wouldn't fit in the parking spaces that were available, but the lady who manages the property sorted it for us , she was very helpful .

Would definitely stay again

It was in a prime position for the centre of Keswick for the shops, pub and short walk to the lake and theatre. It was a lovely gesture for cereal and milk for the first morning and great to have a microwave and little fridge containing a fruit vodka, beer and a couple of bottles of water.On the shelf there was two large plates , bowls, mugs,cutlery and washing up liquid with tea towel

The steps at the entrance and to the rooms were manageable but a little steep when carrying bags ect. The shower wasn’t the best and could do with been updated. The down side was having a noisy neighbour on both our nights stay disturbing our sleep, even though there was notices asking politely to respect others in certain hrs , which was out of the owners control it happened.

Great being able to park right in front of the property, also the location right in the centre of Keswick. The cleanliness and spacious room size also appreciated. Nice touch including drinks & milk in the fridge, as well as breakfast cereals. The view is also stunning.

I’d stay again!

Great property, stayed here once before. I’d book again too. The check in process was simple for me and my needs. Bed was super comfy. Great view of the mountains and.

main road outside was a little noisy, totally fine for a night or two. This room was a tiny bit too small, but again, manageable for a night and this was reflected in the price I think.
