Great location to explore from, nicely redecorated, friendly staff, good breakfast, cosy bedroom.

Fab location. Lovely Breakfast. Staff good on the whole.
Room in urgent need of a refurbishment. Ruined the stay really. Back of door and skirting boards seriously scuffed and scratched. Shower floor dirty. Toilet roll holder fell off wall. Carpet looked ancient.
Had 1 evening meal whilst there. The Royal Oak signature burger with bacon. Overcooked and rubbery. No taste. Not worth the money.
Tried to give constructive criticism on check out (blonde receptionist...didnt get her name- not interested.
Definitely not up to the standard that we're accustomed too....You'd probably get better at a Premier Inn.
