Super clean, lovely cosy decor, quiet, perfect location, delicious breakfast and warm and welcoming owners

The breakfast was amazing and the owners were very friendly and helpful. It was very comfortable and clean. Location is brilliant as it is so close to the center of Keswick and bus stops.

My bathroom was not en-suite. I found the bookng.com description misleading as it said "private bathroom." I think most people would assume that meant en suite. That was the assumption I made. The owners did point this out to me but only a couple of days before my stay. By that time booking,com had taken my payment so I really had no choice. Also finding alternative accommodation would have been very unlikely at that point.

Dorchester house was the most amazing find right by the centre of Keswick! A two minute walk away from Fitz Park and a five minute stroll into the centre of town and the lake. The B&B and our room was impeccably clean and tidy. There was lots of space to store all of our belongings (for three people who packed lots of stuff for a week!). Lorraine and Simon the owners were so friendly and kind, Lorraine always greeting us with cheer and a scrummy breakfast and they were so sweet with our seven year old Arthur. Arthur’s review - “they do the best porridge here! I never wanted to leave! I loved it because the sheets were sooo comfy, and it was close to other places and so I could walk everywhere. Their dog bramble is very cute!” Planning to come back and stay again!
