We had a nice stay at The Edwardene B&B in Keswick. The location is excellent — just a short walk into the town centre — and the free on-street parking nearby was a real bonus. Breakfast was good overall. The first morning was good quality with local ingredients, and the second day, the eggs Benedict was a highlight. The breakfast staff were cheerful and friendly, which made for a pleasant start to the day. We also appreciated the quiet guest lounge, which was a comfortable space to relax and the lovely local toiletries in the bathroom. There were just a couple of minor negatives for us. Our room was in the rafters and a little awkward to move around in, especially as we’re both tall. Also, the very early breakfast times finishing at 9am and the 10am checkout felt a bit rushed — particularly on a Sunday. After a hard week at work, we’re not early risers at weekends for these reasons plus after an evening in the local ale houses we were quite tired, so this might not suit everyone. Overall, these were small points in an otherwise enjoyable stay. The Edwardene is a welcoming, well-located B&B and we’d recommend it to others visiting Keswick.

Nothing was too much trouble, the hosts were very friendly and communicated everything I might need to know to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The room was perfect for my needs, lovely hot and powerful shower with very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and cooked to perfection. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would stay again if I return to Keswick for another visit.

Stayed at the Edwardene for three nights and was first class. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The double room was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Now the breakfast menu was above and beyond,and everything is cooked fresh and first rate. This B&B is also only 2min walk into the town.

Had a lovely time in Keswick. Hotel check-in was seemless, given a tour and taken to your room. Hotel is situated perfectly just a tiny walk to the high street. Breakfast was lovely, all very fresh. Would highly recommend, will stay here again when in Keswick

What a fantastic little hotel. The location is perfect for visiting Keswick, close enough to town without being right in the centre. The team were really friendly and helpful, even making a takeaway sandwich when they learnt that my wife would miss breakfast. Would recommend 100% and we will stop here on our next visit.

Nice oldy worldly establishment, somewhat very dated but modern bathroom Breakfast was too early if your on holiday 8 till 9 In my opinion was a little early. Maybe up till 10am would have been better. Breakfast mediocre spicy sausage was awful. The rest was warm, so was the coffee.
