Absolutely perfect, very clean and welcoming

We love Keswick, the Beckside guest house was perfect for us as it’s a 2 minute walk into the town. The owners couldn’t do enough for us. They’re so friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy with everything we needed.

A lovely stay at the Beckkside and we will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was outstanding, lovely produce. Amazing fruit platter. Nothing was too much bother and hosts were lovely. It's sometimes the little things that make a stay special and there were plenty of little touches that made it for us.

I couldn't fault this bed and breakfast and will definitely be returning in the future. Location was very central to everything. Like a lot of bed and breakfasts in Keswick you might not always get parked outside the bed and breakfast but on our visit we were lucky and that was a bonus.

Very clean, comfortable bed, good location, accommodating, pleasant hosts.

Everything was fine. The proprietors were very approachable, pleasant and efficient.

There wasn’t a grip bar in the shower cubicle. I had an operation 3 months prior and found it difficult getting in and out of the shower. Also, my friend who has GOOD mobility faced the same problem as myself. Putting a grab rail in the shower cubicle would be an easy solution. It is the only reason why we would not book the guest house again.

Tracey and Andrew were fantastic hosts - nothing was too much trouble! Their communication before and during our stay was excellent. The twin room was comfortable, clean and well-furnished. The breakfast was brilliant - plenty of options and served with great attention and friendliness. We would highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay for a couple.

Perfect location, close to the center but quiet. The owners took great care of us. They gave us advice on hiking options and things to do in town. Breakfasts were home cooked and super delicious.

We loved everything about staying with Andrew and Tracey. The rooms are immaculate, tasteful, spotless with countless little touches. I'm obsessed with the products Tracey supplies, Grapefruit and lemongrass..handwashing has never been such a treat! The location is wonderful- a quick stroll into town and just across the road from Fitz park with its beautiful bowling green and lawn tennis courts. Andrew and Tracey are both genuinely lovely people and couldn't do enough for us- including leaving us a picnic breakfast at 430am the first morning. The second morning, we were treated to what can only be described as an absolute feast! 5 star does not do this little home from home ( I wish!) justice...

The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches. Each morning began with a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast that catered to all tastes and dietary needs. The location is perfect—just a short stroll from the heart of Keswick, yet tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area. Every aspect of our stay reflected care, comfort, and quality. We truly didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return!

Perfect location, very close to the town and perfect for early morning photography at Friars Crag, Derwentwater lake and Castlerigg Stone Circle. Hosts were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic. Could not fault this guest house.

Great B&B, a great place to come back to after a day exploring the area.

Amazing breakfast, great way to start the day after a comfortable nights sleep. You can see the hosts have gone to a lot of effort to ensure you enjoy your stay. From the marshmallows in a cute jar to add to you hot chocolate in your room.... yes there is coffee and tea too along with a biscuit :) The accommodation is clean no dust bunnies found here. Another bonus for me was no pets as I have allergies.

We had the most wonderful time at Beckside Guesthouse with Tracey and Andrew. Can’t fault a thing about our stay. We had some issues with trains getting to Keswick and Tracey was extremely understanding. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean and just what you need after a day of walking. Tracey and Andrew were able to give some great tips on local walks/restaurants. Will definitely be back next time we visit.

Breakfast was varied and very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the fruit plate. The room was comfortable and clean. Having the kettle in the room with a selection of tea and coffee was appreciated.
