It was cozy, clean, the breakfast was awesome, location was spot on and the hosts had a wonderful aura and we felt like guests instead of customers. I would definitely recommend it.
Nothing we attempted striding edge but couldn’t make it due to the weather but now we know where to stay when we come back in the summer 😀

The Beckside is an example of how a B&B should be. A throwback to the good old days where the owners really cared about their guests, interacting from the start and enquiring if everything was to our liking. Tracey & Andrew are proud owners of their 'little gem' and so they should. It is immaculate in every aspect from its cleanliness to the little touches placed around the place. The breakfast choices, which are included in the price are outstanding, cooked to perfection and plentiful, with the fresh fruit platter complete with granola & yoghurt compot a welcome change from the usual cornflakes and crispies ( although you could have this also if you prefer !) It is situated barely 5 minutes from Keswick town centre and is an ideal location to explore the stunning, scenery that the area has to offer. We will be returning to The Beckside later this year and wouldn't hestitate to recommend this brilliant little B&B to anyone interested in staying over in Keswick.
