Comfortable stay near the centre of Keswick.

The house was cosy and warm. There was a bookcase full of dvds, maps and good books which were very useful.

A gem of a B and B, worth every penny and fantastic hosts.

Location is perfect - a few mins to local park which is ideal for dog walks. Also a short walk into town. Free parking on street. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay great. Very accommodating with our dog who wasn’t happy being left alone in room while we had breakfast. Breakfast had all the usual cold breakfast items then a cooked breakfast made to order which I couldn’t fault. Five star !

Lovely guesthouse

Lovely guest house, very well located in keswick. The room was very comfortable with a small sofa as well as a king sized bed. Breakfast was great and catered for a gluten free diet.

We spend lovely time. Matt and Paul were great hosts. The room was comfy, warm and clean. They were very patient and friendly with our dogs.The breakfast was beautiful. Good lacation. We have already booked a room for our next visit. 😁😘

A Fantastic little gem of a place ..

What can I say ? Well honestly one of the best places we have stayed in the Lakes ... The hosts were very welcoming and friendly .. The room was beautifully clean and comfortable and the breakfast superb... We were given a slice of the most delicious bread pudding when we left ,which was a lovley touch 😋..We will be back . Greeted with a warm welcome, bags carried to room and given knowledge about the area. Breakfast was delicious . Lovely warm room for a cold winters day. Decorated lovely for Christmas. Can't fault would stay again.

Excellent well run with great customer care.

Room was lovely and big too. Breakfasts were amazing especially before a long walk in the hills.

There was a problem with the shower. Plumber couldn’t fix. Hosts did everything they could to mitigate the flow.

Second stay at this lovely dog friendly b&b. Great hosts, lovely king-size room (great when taking a dog), very comfortable bed and great breakfast. Unfortunately had to leave early but definitely will return

The hosts were absolutely brilliant couldn’t do enough for my son who was staying there with his dog . The location is great very near town so walkable and the place was lovely and clean and the breakfast so I’m told and have seen pictures was better than mine 🤣

Idyllic weekend in the heart of the Lakeland fells

The breakfast was delicious and catered very well for my girlfriend who is vegan. The owners were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. It also is very close to a lot of very nice outdoor places if you enjoy hiking. Making some homemade cake for us at the end was a lovely touch to end a fantastic weekend.

The tap was running slightly warm water in our room, so would have been nice to have access to additional drinking water in the breakfast room (although a bottle was filled in our room which was nice, we are very thirsty people 😅)

Myself and my daughter travelled to Keswick for a rugby game that she was taking part in. We decided to book a b and b and stay the night before and we were really pleased that we did. The hosts of the b and b were very welcoming and friendly, the location of the property was perfect literally a few minutes walk from the centre. It was quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning in the new year.

It is hard to say what we didn't like the only thing I could say negative was the room was a bit snug to get into and the tv was small, but it wouldn't prevent me from not returning because we had a wonderful time and the value for money was exceptional.

Immaculately presented small guest house in a great location for Keswick's attractions.

Immaculately presented small guest house in a great location for Keswick town centre, the lake and the park. Lots of personal touches such as a gift of a piece of cake on departure and being met at the door on arrival. Room was immaculately clean and warm and the breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. We usually stay at the hotels on The Heads but have found them a little impersonal in the recent past so it was nice to feel welcomed again.

Our room was a little small but more than adequate for a 1 night stay.

Basic accommodation with street parking.

Accommodation was fine but without anything standing out as special. Keswick is a pretty little town and especially the Hope park next to the lake.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a guest house (compared to a hotel). It's literally a house with 4 guest bedroom. For the price I would have expected a little more. The street parking is random and sometimes had to drive around to find a spot. I would assume that during peak season, parking could be very challenging, but we were there for a wedding and it was an overcast October. The staff/owners were friendly enough, but quite reserved.

Lovely guest house, very welcoming and comfortable, 5 minute walk from town.

This is a lovely guest house, The room was large, with a small sofa / seating area as well as large bed and en suite. The host was very welcoming and friendly and we had a great breakfast in the morning, with a free slice of homemade cake to take with us for later. It's just a five minute walk into the main town, which has lots of pubs and restaurants and a very friendly vibe. We were sorry to just stay for one night (we were breaking up a long journey from the north of Scotland to the south of England).

Highly recommend Salisbury guest house for anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the lovely Salisbury guest house, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Host Matt was incredibly accommodating; nothing was too much trouble for him, and he made sure we felt right at home. He was especially great with our dog, Ralph, who instantly took a liking to him! The location is another highlight; it's perfectly situated for exploring nearby attractions. Breakfast was a real treat—delicious and satisfying, providing a great start to each day. We also appreciated the cleanliness , which added to the overall comfort of our stay.

One minor point to note is that the house itself is a bit dated and would benefit from a lick of paint. While it has its charm, some areas could use a refresh to enhance its appeal. However, this did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

A well run, welcoming guest house, great value for money.

Our bedroom was comfortable, very spacious and well furnished. We were offered fresh fruit salad and yoghurt at breakfast time, which we always appreciate. The host was very friendly and helpful, giving us advice about the area and also making our dog feel at home (no extra charge for our pet). We were each given some home made cake to take with us on our journey, extremely thoughtful and delicious!

The bathroom shower tray and enclosure was a bit dated and needed replacing .

What a gem of a bed and breakfast! The room we had looked out to the mountains, was beautifully decorated and had everything you'd need. Location is perfect, 2 mins to a lovely park and 5 mins to town centre. The extra effort that Matt puts in, makes it a more personal and excellent experience. 100% recommend.

I had the best night sleep for weeks at Salisbury Guesthouse followed by a delicious breakfast. We were also each given a beautifully wrapped piece of homemade cake to take over with us. I thoroughly enjoyed mine on the fells. Thank you

The ensuite bathroom was adequate but a bit tired (and teeny). The lighting was very dim for making a drink. A light near to the tea/coffee might have helped. The 3 bed bathroom was great having said this...
