It was in a good location and the public areas were good
The corridors leading to our room were in a poor state of repair , wallpaper hanging off the ceiling , dirty carpets , paint chips all over .

Excelle location. Stayed here several times before. Excellent breakfasts and evening meals very good too.
We booked a deluxe double room with garden & mountain views.plus a room with a walk in shower.
What we got was a view of the car park at the front of the hotel. No garden or mountain view. I could have booked Tescos car park view & with more cars. Apparently the room we got was the only one they could do for all our 3 night stay with a walk in shower. Otherwise we could have 2 nights in a room with the views & shower request but the 3rd night would mean moving to the room overlooking the car park & keeping the walk in shower. Why were we not told long before they confirmed the booking? Is this what they call customer satisfaction these days at the Keswick. Also, the rabbits who love the lawns at the Keswick and are not afraid of the guests, do leave their calling cards behind by the thousand. There is no need for a sign saying keep off the grass. The grass needs a clean up big time, but leave the Rabbits in peace!!

The staff and location excellent. Dinner was very good .
The breakfast was not as good as when we stayed 2 years ago.

The bed was clean and comfortable and the location was ideal. Also having parking is always a plus.
We felt we didn’t get the room we had booked, it was extremely dated and a lot of the furniture is in need of a refurb.
