Great value. Great location. Right in the centre so you need to accept some disturbance if you want a centre location.

Location is excellent. Near to Market Square but with easy access to the Fells.

Location is on a busy street. Late night noise from passers by can be frustrating when sleeping. However this did not ruin my stay. Just a minor annoyance that is not within the hotels control.

Just lovely 😍

Spotlessly clean😊 Breakfast gorgeous. Scottish lady who served at breakfast was just lovely-friendly, attentive but not overly so. Everything just spot on. Will be back😊 Will definitely try and book room 19 again as it felt like we had our own suite.

Outside flower pots needed attention. I know it's winter, but then just have them empty. Empty looks better than dead.

Wouldn’t stay again if there was a risk of sleeping with that smell

The only bad thing which was a big one, was the awful smell from the walls, either paint or wallpaper, a very over powering smell that got right to the back of your throat.i have emailed the hotel with no reply. Just to say dont book out that room until the smell has gone! Room number 6. The staff were friendly and breakfast was great. I would have told the staff when we left first thing but they were rushed off their feet with breakfast We parked in the public car park down the road.

This hotel is good for a short visit to Keswick.

Breakfast was very good. Staff were very polite and positive.

Breakfast room was a little chilly. Parking was a bit difficult. Maybe issue parking pass for public car parks or street parking.

The parking spaces are tight due to proximity to hotel. I was pinned in thru no one’s fault, but the two lady staff members Jean and Jackie went the extra mile to help me out. Thanks ladies. A credit to the management team.

Quick, short and perfect with everything I needed

My room was small but snug and warm, it had everything I needed and was perfect for my stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful Breakfast was delicious (porridge) just what was needed in December I wish you had one room where we could bring dogs, perhaps room 19, I think it is downstairs, I need to bring my dogs with me on my next travels which means I sadly cant stay here

Perfect for a short stay with n Keswick

Well placed to explore Keswick. The bar food was really good as was the breakfast the following morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a bonus having a car park, but there was only 6 spaces I think and they are narrow spaces. Public parking is available nearby

The breakfast and location was the only upside, plus the staff were great

The room was cold for the entire time (4nights) that we stayed, the bed was very uncomfortable, the shower was next to useless, and the TV free view channels were hopeless. Had maid service once and the room wasn't hoovered, very poor. Stayed here a couple of years ago and it was the same then, thought they might of addressed a couple of the problems at least in the last 2 years but alas not. We will not be giving it another chance which is a shame because it could be a lovely place which is just let down by the basics

Noisy and kept awake !

Good location

The noise from the traffic disturbed us constantly as the double glazing was old and it did not prevent the noise. Room 19. Plus it was an exceptionally small attic room . Other rooms which cost the same were much larger and their double glazing worked. The flat roof ment the rain even kept us awake. Just a hotel trying to make as much money as possible using every inch of space with no consideration for the paying guest.

Staff were friendly, big room nicely furnished and well appointed, lots of milk on the coffee tray, clean, tidy, comfortable beds. Nice choices for breakfast and it was plentiful and tasty. Really nice stay, wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Bus stop over road, short walk into the middle of town.

Nothing really, it's a big old building with high ceilings and creaky stairs, but really nothing at all, we had a great stay, loved the room, the staff, the food, we'll definitely stay again.
