Great stay. Superb value. Very basic but was really quiet and convenient for walks from the door and the town centre. Breakfast and the bar was really good too Parking not really a problem - just a 5 minute walk from YHA One thing negative was a couple on top floor smoking dope - place stunk.on saturday night

Keswick is such a great town and so well located for hiking and playing in the Lakes. The YHA was lovely and so centrally located on the river by the park. Very well equipped with a great cafe too. My only complaint is that the bedroom doors shut noisily which means you wake with the early risers. All else was perfect

Friendly welcoming staff, pleasant en-suite room with balcony overlooking the river. Meals were very good too. Great location and free parking advice was provided. Would recommend and stay again.

For a busy hostel, the kitchen needs upgrades. It is a far cray from other howtels we stayed at in Scotland, especially.

Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Staff were very welcoming.Room was fine just a little warm so just left the widow open a little. Toilets & showers were clean. Kitchen was great. Breakfast was okay wouldve been better if the bacon / hash browns were warmer. Good for a hungry person as they give you more if you ask. Had very noisy neighbours but thats not the staffs fault just very thoughtless people that obviously thought they had the whole building to themselves.

Blown away by the place. First time in YHA and we will return. Amazing facilities. Superb location. Beautiful views. Fantastic staff. Can’t rate it enough. We had a private room with shared shower and WC (also never done this before) and it was brilliant! Looking for our next adventure YHA

Breakfast proved value for money.No staff are in the hostel after 10 and I had to call the night manager out to try and identify a noisy neighbour, to no avail. Sits uneasy with me that no staff are at this property all night.

Great location, Very clean and tidy Staff was very helpful and answered all questions to best of their abilities as I wasn’t from the area so wanted to know about the area If your ever in Keswick then this is the place to stay, the room and facilities were top notch for the price paid, highly recommended for a warm welcome upon arrival

Easy check in. Good Covid-19 policies in place. Room was clean and warm as were showers and toilets. Can't beat this place for the price and the location is great 2 minute walk into the centre of the lakes.

Check in is extremely late 5pm most places it 3pm at the latest. The service we got was great lovely member of staff. The room was what you would expect only down side was that it was that hot in the room no one got any sleep at all even with the window open and radiator off.

Great location and we were lucky to park right outside - probably because of COVID (Keswick was very quiet.) Fantastic value for a great location. Comfy beds and friendly staff.

We felt really safe especially with the coronavirus. We booked a shower slot and another member of the hostel used it instead. I went downstairs to the reception and dealt with it straight away. They cleaned another shower block and let us know when it was clean. Just felt like they were doing an amazing job under the current circumstances and to make the visitors feel safe.
