A perfect traditional British B&B! Exceptional hosts, very friendly with great local tips. Breakfast was excellent I recommend the fruit salad and the full English! The location was brilliant short walk to all the amenities of central Keswick. We managed to get parked with three cars on the local streets on a Friday evening so hopefully you will be able too!
Nothing really! Ford the money it's great value, the weather could have been better though ;)

There is nothing I would change about Portland House. Sarah and Colin are perfect hosts and clearly enjoy meeting new people and doing such a great job. The room was spacious, spotless and very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb and you could order whatever you want without any limits. We arrived by bike and they have a secure shed for storage and would happily have charged our batteries if we had ebikes. We booked for a special big birthday and they made it even more special. Thank you so much.
