Great base for exploring Keswick and surrounding fells

There was only two of us, and the apartment slept 4, so it was very spacious for us. There was a large lounge and the kitchen had all you needed. The apartment was clean and warm. WiFi and sky access (and others) were good

Great stay, comfortable apartment.

The location is good just on the outskirts of Keswick with a good local pub a couple of minutes walk away. We had the terrace apartment which, although a little dated, was comfortable and warm with several beds, tv’s and two showers. It was very quiet at night for sleeping and also clean. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stay and there was a nice view from the kitchen and one of the bedroom windows. There’s a pleasant walk down to Keswick or a bus stop very close by. Keswick is beautifully situated in the Lake District and there are many lovely walks nearby. Great Booths supermarket in town. Good communication with the hosts about check in. Hope to return next year as it’s a very good base.

A perfect place to relax or walk

The location was perfect, and the beautiful garden and pool just what was needed after a day walking. The apartment was compact, clean and cosy. The hosts, Diane and Andrew were very friendly and helpful. Quick to deal with problems and make suggestions.

There was nothing we didn’t like, but I have offered Diane a couple of suggestions to make life easier in the kitchen. Remember to bring towels for the pool. I had to ask for some.

Overall very good

The apartment was super clean and had everything you need, it looked very well taken care of. Hosts were happy to accommodate late check-in. Free parking spot provided. Location is good, short walk (around 15 min) to Keswick town.

A nice experience

Very comfortably located in Keswick . It’s quiet but everything is nearby . Owners are helpful and around but not intrusive at all.

There’s a small set of stairs to climb to reach rhe apartment. So recommend to carry light luggage

It was functional and comfortable, with a great location.

A pleasant and comfortable ground floor apartment, it was warm and peaceful. It's location, whilst 20mins walk into Keswick, is fine. The Pheasant pub is very close as is the Fuel Station cafe.

A teabag or two might have been nice. I don't know, but with with a spotless and empty kitchen I had to buy 80 teabags for a 3 night stay...but went to the cafe for coffee..

I loved the fact that it was quiet in a great location with lovely views. The hosts were not intrusive but was available for anything that we required.

Long weekend for Lakesman Triathlon

Really convenient location we were in town for the Lakesman traithlon so having a quiet self catering apartment was ideal. The apartment was well kitted out with useful consumables so it was easy to use and keep tidy. Pub and cafe 5 minutes walk if you dont want to cook and or have a drink

Had everything we needed for a short stay. Even got to use the pool as the weather was beautiful and was much needed after a walk up catbells on a hot afternoon. Close enough to town to walk there and a pub round the corner. Free parking too. Owners friendly and helpful on arrival and when leaving. Would definitely be happy to stay here again if we return to Keswick

Very picky and minor but I do prefer larger mugs for tea/coffee and some larger glasses for drinking water/soft drinks than those provided but that's about it. Double bed was comfortable but seemed small - although we are used to a king at home

Superb

I loved the apartment, everything I could have needed was there. The hosts are nice and so helpful when you need answers to something. I had to book an extra night due to strikes in public transport and Diane had no problem with this on such short notice. Would highly recommend this place to everyone I know.

It was a bit of a walk into town, but honestly that wasn't a problem after 2 days. You get used to it very quickly.

The property is very easy to access from A66 and also conveniently situated near the Keswick town centre. It benefits from excellent views of the mountains. We requested a late check in and found out very clear instructions to get us in the property. The apartment was in a really clean state, including the outdoor swimming pool and the garden area with sit out.

Dianne was lovely. The apartment was quiet and spacious and in a great location

We were greeted by Dianne on arrival. The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. The lounge room was comfy and big. There were spare blankets which we snuggled up under on the couch. The Xmas lights had gone on the tree and Dianne went out and put a new set on before we arrived. Great kitchen facilities.

Everything was great but I think an drying rack for clothes would be great. We got caught I. The rain. Suggestion add a few more dollars to the cost and supply washing powder for the washing machine.

The holiday for 4 nights was perfect.

The Location was great for getting around. The view from our windows was breathtaking with the skiddaw mountains in sight. The owner Diane was there to meet us and was very pleasant as she was showing us round. I will go there again and I would recommend this place to anybody.

Warm Comfortable beds Fantastic view from 2nd Bedroom of whole of Skiddaw

Needs renovating and updating. Decor and soft furnishings and quilt covers outdated. Old brown internal room doors dark and gloomy and heavy ( flat used to be 3-4 Hotel bedrooms) . Lounge corner old brown leather sofa extremely uncomfortable as so low and saggy ( I never sat on it as gave me lumbar back ache and my husband reported he thought only comfortable chair was one outside flat by the public phone so he sat on that to read his newspaper) Please replace the bath shower curtain with a glass shower screen door as plastic curtains are unhygienic and annoying when they stick to you. All the kitchen and dining room chairs very uncomfortable. Lounge needs updating ? With 2 higher 2 seater sofas and smaller coffee table Garden furniture needs updating ( ie the white plastic chairs) ? Invest in a hot tub for garden for guests to use Oct to April

It was lovely to be greeted by the smiling face of Diane when I arrived. She and Andrew were helpful without being obtrusive. This was a lovely, comfortable place to stay in a great location for the N Lakes. Excellent breakfast too. I look forward to staying again.

Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were attentive and friendly. Particularly liked that they called me by name from the moment I arrived.

My only complaint was that WIFI was poor. I couldn't get a connection for longer than about 10 minutes then it was lost for hours.

Comfortable in Keswick

Great position just out of town so it was quiet but near enough to be convenient for the centre and near the lovely Fitz Park. Very pleased that the swimming pool was still available- swam every morning in beautiful clear water. Breakfasts substantial and appetising.

A good base for exploring the northern Lakes.

Andrew and Diane were perfect hosts, very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble - even providing a portable fridge when we needed cool storage. Helpful input on routes we were planning to walk.

The room / storage was a little more compact than ideal, but not a major issue.

The breakfast, was cold on our first day but the location was fantastic and the scenery was beautiful. Andrew the host was pleasant and friendly.
