Delightful, traditional guesthouse perfectly situated in town with easy access and beautiful views.

Breakfast was phenomenal, the owners were polite, delightful, very welcoming and helpful always. The room was well stocked with amenities, a kettle for making tea/coffee etc.

I would have liked a mini fridge to keep drinks cool, as well as some food items which we intended to bring back from our trip. We understood that the owners preferred guests not to eat meals in the room but the lack of a refrigerator for drinks would be my only minor complaint.

Gorgeous and well-located room, perfect for a weekend away.

The hosts were absolutely lovely. They were friendly, helpful, and generous. We had a gorgeous room with a view out to Latrigg that we would absolutely stay in again. The breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the option to add on a packed lunch for our big walk. We also thought it was very well-located - close to the centre but on a lovely side street opposite the church.

Lovely Breakfast and Staff were lovely and very efficient. Room and bed was comfortable and nice view across Town and Skiddaw.

Parking at the back, although good, if you arrive as one of the first and want to travel out you could get trapped in if others aren't. We were lucky it wasn't much of an issue on this occasion

Love it!

Well maintained historical building. It’s a 160 years old guest house. The hosts Tsige & Duncan were fantastic & accommodating. The Cumbrian breakfast was excellent!

Everything was excellent, room nicely decorated , spotlessly clean very comfy bed,. Staff were lovely and friendly , best breakfast we have had anywhere , short walk into Keswick town center , and guesthouse had parking facilities which was a bonus .

A gem of a guest house! Would definitely stay again!

We had a full English for the 3 days we stayed and it was delicious! The breakfast menu was a fantastic choice and if there was anything you wanted that wasn't on there, the owners said let them know and they would accommodate if possible! Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were friendly and polite and it was all the little touches that made it a lovely stay! Highly recommended!]1

Breakfast was 8 30am, would liked to have an earlier start but to be fair we didn't ask if we could have had it earlier, so maybe we could have, but wasn't really an issue.q

Great property close to town

The hosts were super kind and helped us with the early checkin request and keeping food in fridge. They have a lovely dog named Billy who is very friendly. The room was perfect for a couple, but a mini fridge would have been a nice addition. Overall our stay was great with fresh hot breakfast served between 8:30-9am but the parking situation could have been better as we had to move our car if someone needed to leave the place. I would definitely recommend this place as it was 5min walk to the town with lots of options to eat.

A comfortable and pleasant stay

The staff were very friendly and lovely to talk to. The breakfast options were vast so you could tailor your breakfast to you liking. The room was warm and the shower was great. Considering the size of the team who runs the guest house, it was kept spotlessly clean.

The hot water tap in the faucet didn’t work but that was because the boiler was broken. The staff told us that they are upgrading all the plumbing in the rooms so this wasn’t really a problem. Breakfast is served 8:30 - 9:00 and because we had an event to attend at 9:30 each morning, an extra 30 mins for breakfast would have made mornings easier so we wouldn’t have to dash about to make it in time

A wonderful trip to the Lakes, amazing peoples, very friendly & amazing B&B

Breakfast menu was in the room and we chose what we wanted to eat the next day. The menu had a bar code on which orders were sent: The b&b is located very close to the city centre and other shops and attractions. Cinema, galleries and stores The owner of the house was always present and welcoming

Lovely bed & breakfast close to all amenities

Gorgeous bed & breakfast in a fab location just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre of Keswick. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order every morning. As a special touch for my partner’s birthday, we were provided with a surprise balloon and prosecco to celebrate! Absolutely loved our stay, thank you!

While we were there there were some building works going on however this was not disruptive at all. Parking is also rather tight but is well managed.

A bit disappointed.

The staff were welcoming, the breakfast was very good, room was well equipped and clean, and all in an excellent location.

I was very disappointed when we arrived we were put in the annexe, which was above the garage, the feels of the accommodation was more like we were staying in a caravan thin walls and gets cold, when booking it would of been nice to know this would be the type of room we'd have, as I'd booked this for my 30th wedding anniversary, we felt like the poor relatives kept outback.
