The host was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent hospitality. The location is absolutely perfect, sitting right between the lake and the town center so everything is a short walk away. We had a very comfortable bed, and the room was a great price for the busy Easter holiday weekend.
The water pressure in the shower was a bit on the weak side.

Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. There was a very nice choice of breakfast, it was beautifully cooked and the coffee was very good. The location of West View was perfect for us. Very close to Derwent Water and to the town centre (a short walk to each). It was possible to do long and varied walks without needing to drive. The guest lounge was comfortable to sit in and had lovely views. Our room was very clean with a nice ensuite and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely like to stay at West View again.
We had opted for a standard double room, but another time might choose a larger room as it was a little bit tight on space. There was just room for one armchair.

Property is in a great location close to the centre and the lake, with great views of the mountains, and parking nearby. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were very clean, as was the dining room. The breakfast
was beautifully cooked with plenty of choice. The host Heather was really welcoming and friendly.

Breakfast was fine. Plenty of choices. Something for everyone. Location of the B&B was good.
Room could’ve been cleaner. Carpet really needed updating or deep cleaning. Communication could’ve been better and more responsive before my stay started
