Dinner? It's a rainforest. Was good but we could not eat very much because we were tired so we took most of it in a takeout box and my stomach was so upset that I threw up what little bit I had to eat and was miserable from that point on cuz my stomach was bothering me and with all the noise going on the hallways I couldn't sleep or even rest. But thanks for at least being available
We had just driven 14 hours and all we wanted was a place to rest, relax and rejuvenate that did not happen. There was too damn many kids making too much noise. We couldn't even rest before dinner. We ate very little dinner cuz we were tired. We tried to sleep and couldn't cuz the kids are still up making racket at almost midnight. Where the hell were the parents? Nowhere to be seen than the kids in the afternoon were playing soccer in the hallway security. Had to have a talk with them cuz wouldn't listen to bae either of us to quiet down

It was clean and affordable and the staff was excellent. It was across the street from the convention center where my children were competing.
My daughter is afraid of elevators and the fob system for the stairs wasn’t working correctly at times. However, the staff always helped her when she had problems with it.

The staff was super nice and very accommodating. We stayed on the private floor and they offer breakfast snacks and drinks throughout the day and then appetizers in the evening and the staff working the club room were super nice. They have construction going on in part of the property but nothing that bothered what we were doing.
No complaints from my experience

The bed was very comfortable. The location was fantastic. It was convenient to have a Starbucks within the hotel. We liked the furnishings in the room.
The toilet did not flush well. We had to hold the handle down for a long time. The seams in the hallway carpets were frayed and unsightly. The parking arrangement was not convenient as we had to bring in our parking ticket each day.

All of the amenities and access to the casino as well as the restaurants inside of the hotel
I didn’t like the fact that the construction was going on and we were not told as well as we were slightly misinformed about the $15 card for the casino. It was let us to believe that it was a free $15 card when it actually wasn’t.

Excellent location. The pool and hot tubs are really clean and nice. Good variety of restaurants and cafes
The front desk staff should tell guests why they should bring the $20/night parking receipt back - to validate parking costs and dates. The parking rate is way too high, for staying there

Our stay at the Sheraton had both highlights and challenges. The location was excellent—perfect for sightseeing and convenience. My spouse was able to walk into Canada, and we appreciated the helpful tourist information available at the front desk, which we used over several days. The easy access to the trolley, bus, and casino made exploring the area very convenient. While the location and amenities were great, we did experience a few challenges during our stay.
Our stay had a few challenges. The room didn’t have a microwave, which made things inconvenient since we couldn’t warm up leftovers and had to eat out every day. I also wasn’t comfortable having to leave my room just to access a shared microwave or refrigerator.
Another issue was that the washers were out of order. We had planned to do laundry during our stay to avoid overpacking, but we ended up having to buy extra clothing instead. The front desk kindly shared information about a nearby laundry facility, but it was quite far without a car.
The biggest problem was the day we had no hot water from around 11 p.m. until 10 a. m. the next morning. As someone who uses an asthma machine, I wasn’t able to properly clean my equipment, which was frustrating. Grateful for the bottled water, even to brush our teeth and wash our face. It would have been helpful if guests were notified in advance when the water was turned off.

The property feels very outdated and is in need of improvements . The bathroom vent and one of the outlets were not working. The parking policy requiring ticket validation every 24 hours was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the $20 per person charge for breakfast is disappointing, as this is typically complimentary at other hotels.

Location.. near the falls but American side is somewhat depressing. Very nice lobby area; the rest of the hotel is offensive.
The lobby is nice but as soon as you step into the elevator you are repulsed by the uncleanliness and challenging odors. The hallway carpeting which is dirty and shabby has duct tape holding the seams together... what an insult. From the elevator all the way to the room you are challenged by a large variety of offensive odors. Unfortunately that is also true in the room itself which is home to a dirty smelly carpet and other things which seem to indicate the room hasn't been thoroughly cleaned or cared for... maybe not cleaned at all in a long time. The bathroom had the most musty smell ever experienced. There are signs around that renovations and refurbishing is coming. It can't get there soon enough. Possibly close off whole floors or wings and get them cleaned up ASAP.
One last note - there is a Starbucks conveniently located off the lobby but NO Veterans or Senior Citizen discounts.

Well appointed lobby area with a Starbucks. Room was large and very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Tub shower had nice soaps and shampoo.
Older hotel but near the falls. Curtains wouldn't close for a nice dark room. Long walk to the elevators. The laundry facility on 2nd floor had 2 washers & dryers, one was out of order. Tried to use the second one which wet my clothes then quit. The desk took off my $20 parking fee and another $10 fee but we left with a garbage bag of wet clothes.
Overpriced for the quality of the hotel.

The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The lobby was great and it was nice to have Starbucks and Rainforest Cafe in the building.
Room 2nd floor. Maids were very loud and talkative in the halls, then maintance guys on their walkie talkies were loud and stood right in front of my door that said "please do not disturb" on it.
7.0 / 10.0
The location is excellent - around a 5-minute walk to the entrance of the state park. Staff were great, check in and check out were easy, and when we complained that the curtains wouldn't completely shut, they quickly sent a maintenance guy up to our room and he fixed it right away. The room was spacious enough for two people to get around comfortably. The breakfast at Torrent Cafe (which was not included in the price) was good, and had lots of variety. We also appreciated the free parking.
The hotel is in need of a refresh as it felt a bit old and dated. When we walked into the room, the curtains were open and the windows looked out on a dirty-looking rooftop, and then the curtains wouldn't close completely (which the maintenance guy fixed shortly after), but it didn't make us feel relaxed or comfortable. The bed was a little hard too. For the amount we paid, we expected a better room overall. I guess we really only paid for the location.

The hotel is getting old. Stuff fell down in the room coming out of the screws. There were no hand soap.

I liked that the property was close to all the stores.
1.0 / 10.0
I believe that for a 4- to 5-star hotel, it is inappropriate not to provide free WiFi in the lobby for guests, regardless of whether they are current or former guests. Additionally, the room, particularly the carpet, feels dated and uninviting.
