What a great place. Location was great, views were even better. The relaxed feel was what I liked. I’m used to staying in the typical motel- this was so much better. Sitting in the downstairs area was a nice experience. Will definitely stay there again.

My experience was great, but there is probably a little room for improvement. I’m a little older and beat up which means I like a comfy bed. This was one of two negatives. The bed was not comfy and the frame made so much noise when you moved. I barely slept the night we were there. The other negative was the bed cover was a little dirty. I found numerous long hairs at the bottom of the bed when we walked in. I’m bald so not mine. Besides, found it when I walked in and put my bags on the bed. I was going to go to the front desk, but I’m not a germ freak so I let it go. The rest of the bed seemed clean.

I will definite recommend this hotel to my friends especially in summer time to come for relaxing.

Breakfast is excellent, delicious but the portion is a bit too much for me. Room is clean, spacious and quiet. Staff are very helpful and friendly... I forgot my jacket in the washroom. They wrap it up neatly and called me to take it few minutes after we have checked out.

Only complaint which not really complaint, need bigger garbage cans in room n bathroom and maybe a rug at entry door to room for wet shoes. Ground was snow covered so we felt bad not having a place for our shoes so we used a towel.

Relaxing, safe, enjoyable experience. Even with other guests we still felt like it was so peaceful!

We loved how our room had so much character and the washroom was our favourite too! In room 404 B. The breakfast portion was just right and very taste full satisfying! We love the fact that it’s close to the falls and short distance of a walk!

It took a bit of time for the temperature to cool down! But that’s me it picking ! Honestly no complaints !

Room for improvement

This was our first time at this hotel. It was extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and we appreciated the small tour. We were shown the kitchen area where there was coffee, tea, hot chocolate and an ice machine. Upstairs, our room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the large windows let in lots of natural light. It is a good location but we were there on the coldest night of the winter so we did not leave the hotel. They asked if we were going to order food in and offered us the use of the dining room. I forgot my phone charger and they messaged me to let me know and put it aside for me.

Some things that could be improved in my opinion: I asked for an extra blanket as there was none in the room and although they did bring one, it was a small polar fleece throw blanket. I would have thought a hotel might have extra pillows and blankets but they did not. The heater in our room was not working. I let the front desk know but the best they could do was bring up a small space heater. The room was 20 when we arrived and went down to 18 over night. For some that might be good, but a bit cold for me. The shower on the other hand was scorching hot and we could not find a way to adjust the temperature. I'm sure that was on us, but maybe ask or check when they show you to your room. We ended up not showering which was disappointing but we didn't have time or energy to go down and ask. Also no phone in the room to call the front desk. You can use your cell phone but odd. I was also disappointed that they didn't check on us with regard to the heat situation. I had gone downstairs 3x, twice with the remote, then they came up with one small heater to heat the entire room. I thought they might check or send the overnight person to look at it but they didn't.

A charming boutique hotel with great service and a lovely view — we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The hotel has a beautiful and quiet location, and the view from the window was amazing, which made our stay very relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. We really appreciated the complimentary breakfast and the friendly, helpful staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

Honestly, there was nothing we truly disliked. Everything met our expectations and we had a very pleasant experience overall.

A perfect place to stay away from the hubbub

This is a Beautiful Small Hotel Victorian style. Staff were amazing. Room was huge and comfy and the included Breakfast was one of the Best I have ever had from a Hotel. Room 301 a suite. which was very big on the second floor. Has an elevator if needed. It was super bright windows on 3 sides, a gas fireplace it had a terrace. Too snowy to use on our stay. Bathroom had everything you need. A Dyson hair dryer Bed was really comfortable and a lot of pillows. Best room I had stayed in

The staff were all exceptional, helpful, accommodating and friendly. The cleaning staff do make a remarkable effort. The apple blossom pastry at breakfast was incredible, as was the breakfast in general. Lovely dining room and view. Lindt chocolates at reception a nice treat : )

We were in the basement King Deluxe room and the room was quite tired, peeling paint in the bathroom ceiling and very low ceilings in the bedroom area. The room was beside maintenance and cleaning supplies so a bit noisy quite early. It was very snowy and there are no boot mats in the room or outside of the room, so the floor inside our door always had pools of water and salt stains.

Try this hidden gem of a Boutique Hotel instead of the usual chains.

- Included guaranteed parking and fresh breakfast. - Loved the fact, that you can truly see and feel how much love goes into up keeping the Inn. - These must have been the cleanest, best smelling, plush towels in any hotel ever.

What could be an issue for some, but wasn’t in my particular case is the fact that reception is not manned 24/7.

Vintage hotel with breakfast and parking in walking distance to falls

Lovely staff, amazing breakfast (you choose when to have it ready when doing checkin). Niagara falls were 15-30min walk. Free parking -- receptionist even let us have car parked two more hours after check out! I definitelly recommend the hotel, felt like in heaven. There is also free coffee during your stay and they even offer no diary milks!

There is 200CAD dollars deposit when checkin in, and it kinda suprised me because I havent seen it before. However they returned it the same day we checked-out so no problem!!

Fabulous stay at a fantastic place !

The room we had was excellent. King Deluxe with a walk out to the outdoor front patio. Everything was top drawer - especially the breakfast and the breakfast room. It was lovely that there was coffee, tea and water available all day in the kitchen. Will look forward to returning again.

I love the charm of this gorgeous Victorian mansion. Niagara Falls is full of generic hotels but this hotel really stands out as a restored piece of history, providing an experience that is unique and special. Some of the balconies overlook the Niagara river gorge and the owners have paid special attention to keeping the furnishings and decor in line with the timeperiod of the building. The breakfasts which were included were wonderful and the staff were generous to answer our questions about the building and the area.

As with all century buildings, there are often little things that don't work or need repair but that is part of the charm in my opinion.

Very nice boutique hotel with a delightful breakfast and nice views!

The hotel was quiet and centrally located. Parking was fine. We reserved the terrace rooms so that we could access the garden and get fresh air. The rooms were fine even though they were basement rooms. We felt safe and the bedding was very nice in the rooms. The bathrooms were very nice and well-appointed with decent towels. The breakfast has to be ordered in advance which we did. Breakfast was very good with an abundance of fresh items to choose from. A++ to the chef. Thank you!

There was a leak apparently from the room above and they staff were running a loud dehumidifier in the room. Because it is a basement room there were some signs of mold in the ceiling. The staff were looking into this but the room's ceiling needs to be completely remediated to make this accommodation ready for guests. If this problem was attended to, we would have easily awarded a 9.5 for this boutique hotel. It was lovely in so many respects!

It was a beautiful refurbished historic place. You just felt the history. Room was beautifully and comfortably appointed. It was also very quiet, couldn’t hear anything from other rooms. The breakfast was great. It was an easy and scenic walk to the Falls. One thing that deserves mentioning is the staff, specifically the young lady we met at the front desk checkin. Unfortunately I’m bad with names. She is so hard working, did multiple jobs and was very willing to help. I hope the owner appreciates the effort she puts out because we sure did.

Fantastic property to stay at. Checking in was easy and friendly staff. A couple of blocks walk down to the falls. Excellent breakfast. Room was spacious and loved the way it had been renovated. Definitely worth staying here, wish we had more than one night stay here. Easy parking.

I left 2 days early mainly because the room was so musty & cold & I saw what I needed.

Breakfast was included so was ok. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was free and easily accessible. Location was a 10 minute walk to the Falls and attractions.

The room needed some repairs. Ceiling paint was peeling, When the weather turned cold my room was freezing, no hanging option for clothes in room, drawers were sticky so a luggage stand would have been a better option as I left my clothes in my suitcase.

Wonderful stay

The room was beautiful and so comfortable. I loved spending time on the balcony with a cup of tea. I loved the open kitchen area with pastries and drinks available all day. The shower was so large and had a large variety of sprays. The location was a short walk to the main area. The view over the river was beautiful.

You have to put in what time you will be at breakfast the following day, and I was asked to change mine each day so larger parties could take my time. Not really a big deal, but it was the only down side.
