This hotel has it all- views, location and amenities

This property is located within walking distance of the Skylon Tower, Behind the Falls (Horseshoe Falls), directly across the street from where you catch the boat for the falls (city cruise). It is right beside all the restaurants and activities of Clifton Hill and the views from the Fallsview rooms is amazing. You can access the casino, arcade, waterpark and restaurants without going outside.

An expensive treat which was well worth it!

OK, so this is an expensive hotel but it is absolutely worth it. We took a room with a high floor for one night and did not regret it. They let us check in early which was a lovely touch as we arrived early from Toronto. The hotel was a lot more modern than I expected and was very impressive. The view was incredible and we were able to watch the fireworks from the room. The pool area is lovely, although all the tables were roped off and not in use which felt a shame.

Fallsview Room worth every penny!

The view was unbelievable, especially in our room. We had a King Fallsview room on the side of the building and had a perfect view of both falls and Clifton Hill. Everything in the hotel was clean, staff was very friendly. Possibly the best hotel location in Niagara Falls, literally right next to everything!

Perfect location for seeing niagra falls and great family friendly hotel

You can not beat this location for seeing Niagra Falls (make sure you book the falls view room)

We stayed for a few days and housekeeping missed our room on two days. They finish at 4pm so if you don’t notice until later it won’t be made up and you’ll need to request towels.

Would never stay here again

I liked that it was close to everything and comfortable

When I was checking in when I asked what the hold was for incidentals was she said she didn’t know and said to just insert my card and see what comes up. I said I want to know the amount before I blindly insert my card she again didnt know. My boyfriend who wasn’t even on the reservation and was just dropping me off offered to pay on his card and all of a sudden it was $150 per night when I asked where she got that number from she started to completely ignore me and talk over me to my boyfriend and even tried to give him my keys and explain the hotel to him instead of me the one on tbe reservation. When I told her she was being rude she yelled over me “ IT IS NOT RUDE MAM” over and over until I walked away. When I later came back to the hotel she was staring me down to the point that my family said something . The worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel.

3/5 – Beautiful View, But Be Prepared for Surprise Charges

We stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel in a room with a direct view of Niagara Falls, and I have to say—the view was absolutely stunning, and you can see the firework show. The hotel’s location is very convenient, right next to Clifton Hill and fairly close to many major Niagara Falls attractions. It made exploring the area easy and accessible.

The breakfast buffet was decent—not something I’d want every day, so we ended up venturing out to try some local spots, which we enjoyed more. Unfortunately, our overall experience was impacted by billing issues. I booked the room with a confirmation showing a total of $2345 CAD (~$1710 USD), not including a flat $150 incidental hold, which is standard. I expected a final hold around $1800 USD, but I was shocked to be charged $3040 CAD (~$2218 USD)—over $500 more than expected. Management was not helpful in explaining why this happened. I made sure not to charge anything to the room aside from parking, so this felt excessive and unjustified. While the hold eventually evened out, the lack of communication and transparency put a damper on our trip. I’ve stayed at many hotels and never had this issue. As for the room itself—it was just okay. The mattress had stains, which was disappointing, but it served its purpose for the short time we needed it. Would I stay here again? Honestly, probably not. The view and location are the biggest selling points, but between the surprise charges and basic room quality, I’d likely look elsewhere next time.

Location was amazing. Walking distance to everything.

Everything else was awful. Bugs in the room- dead and alive and not cleaned up. Dusty, dingy and smelled musty. Shower head leaked and tub didn't drain and the tap leaked all night also. One of the worst stays and most expensive!
