The location, the pool, the price

Building was old, dated and worn. The free breakfast was not very good in comparison to other free continental breakfasts. The line up was crazy long for the breakfast, the second day I seriously considered paying for breakfast elsewhere l, it was a long wait for a bad breakfast.

Its a good location and has potential to be really nice if they renovated it. Rooms need updating.

Check-in process was smooth/quick, staff nice. Breakfast was surprisingly decent. Not a lot of choices but what was there, was good. Couple hot choices, bread products with toasters, 3 types of cereals and a milk machine, juice. No fruit at all. Atrium is nice place to sit/eat/socialize. The bed linens/pillows were newer, very clean and comfy. Mattresses were OK.

This hotel is tired. We stayed many years ago, it was tired then and its no better now. Hallways and rooms are run-down. We had a 2 room suite hoping it would be "upgraded" some, but it had the same dingy carpet, stained ceiling tiles and old furniture as 7-8 years ago. The countertop in the bathroom was the only part of the room that appeared to be replaced ever. We are not overly picky and i know its a cheaper hotel, but it needs a bit of life breathed back into it.

1- location 1a- staff ( Mr Ali day manager outstanding.. when issues with poor TV reception- the hotel engineer was also fantastic) 2- the hotel is in process of upgrading so I’m curious as to what that will look like 3 the breakfast is satisfactory

It is an old hotel that needs renovation however the location is great. The room was cleaned and spacious.

The breakfast was good but it would be good some fiber food, like oat, yogurt and at least two type of fruit.

Excellent Value - A1

We've stayed here prior for multiple stays. We originally booked another hotel but the free parking, free breakfast and free room upgrades brought us back again 😊 When we 1st got up to the room, the card key wouldn't work but maintenance was very quick to address the issue. Housekeeping was also very quick with extra towel requests! Super sweet lady. We stayed in the Jacuzzi room, and were suprised at the actual size of the room; it was huge! All rooms have fridges now.

We noticed from previous stays that the wifi to the exterior rooms in the 500s was weaker than the lower interior rooms.

Good value but has its quirks

Location, free parking, seperate bedroom for kids, ambiance of lobby, continental breakfast, and pool area.

Rooms are outdated, stained curtains and bedsheets, beds were not made properly, beds were not comfortable and squeeked like crazy, bathtub subfloor is sinking so center of tub is concave and shower had no hot water, ice machine on 3rd floor was broken, no safe in room.

Best to stay with kids,

Friendly and supportive staff, best location (away from the party area but still in close proximity). WEGO Bus Station and Clifton Hill at just walking distance. Has a small pool for kids. Parking is included in stay.

There should be a designated kitchen or eating place. No indoor activity for kids in winter times.

Location of the hotel and size of the family room was okay.

But, the furniture were old and loose, and making noise. Lights were not working. TV was outdated, and not a smart TV. Atleast a good electric kettle is minimal a hotel should provide. Complementary breakfast had no hot item. No fruits.

Breakfast was a little sparse would have been nice to have some fruit , yogurt and pastries. Too much plastic, products. Think real spoons for cereal and knives to cut English muffins. Hard to cut with plastic.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. We love the location as it is a quick 5-10 minutes to Clifton Hills and the Falls. The property is maintained clean, family oriented guests and cozy

The location is great to be able to enjoy all the food, entertainment and scenery of NF.

The neighbourhood was great for what we wanted to do with our weekend., Lots of nearby activities and restaurants.

There was very little choice at the breakfast buffet. No fruit, yogurt, waffles or muffins/cinnamon buns etc. Disappointing. The hotel looks run down, especially the carpets and old paint.

Great value for a family trip!

We loved the atmosphere of the hotel itself. The pool was lots of fun for the kids, nice and warm and we loved the blue lights at night. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were adequately clean.

The rooms could have been cleaned better, including the bathroom, but that's just if you happen to look in the corners and nooks and crannies. The beds also could have been more comfortable but we were still able to get a good nights sleep.
