Check in was simple! The room was a cozy warm. There was a fridge.
The smell of the chlorine at the front desk was overwhelming. The room wasn’t very clean. Needed a vacuum, found hair in the bed (we always check for bugs), there is cracks in the tiles of the jacuzzi and shower. Spots weren’t vacuumed, the jacuzzi tub wasn’t cleaned out properly so we had to prior to using it. They put slippers on the bed and thankfully we read the note that it cost $5 of used (one size fits all), not enough towels or was clothes. We couldn’t find an outlet on the side I slept on to charge my phone.

As someone who usually stays at the hilton/oakes on new years, I would give this place a solid 9/10 for the price alone. We booked the motel jacuzzi room for a few nights for new years eve and booked it because of the heart jacuzzi in the room- although the listing photos do not have any actual pictures of the jacuzzi, we were worried it would be small and not fit the both of us but it was perfect and large and we are so happy we selected this room vs the tower jacuzzi room. The jets were strong and we loved how comfortable it was to lay in the jacuzzi and watch tv at the same time! Having the ability to be able to leave the room and go outside to our car was also a major advantage. We loved having the fresh air, which was especially nice when the room was so stuffy from the jacuzzi. Our car was right next to the room.
The fridge- ICE COLD which was amazing for keeping our beverages cold without ice. Most hotel fridges barely get cold.
The bed- comfortable and spacious. We slept like babies.
For those complaining about parking being $20, I assume they have never stayed anywhere in Niagara because that is a steal. Any other hotel we have stayed at, specifically those I have referenced above, have all been a minium of $50.00 for parking per night.
For those complaining about no house keeping, what do you expect? For the price, I am not expecting housekeeping. If you need extra towels or toiletries you can just ask the staff who you can regularly find around walking around the property for cleaning. We actually didnt want housekeeping because we love our privacy and don't want anyone in our rooms anyways.
Overall, this is a solid choice for the price. The jacuzzi is better than a lot of one's we've tried and we were very pleased with our room overall. It feels very private and we felt safe and loved that we had our car right next to us. We will definitelty be back and look forward to coming again next new years!
Cleanliness- cleaning needs some improvement. Upon entering our room, we immediately notied that the jacuzzi had two pieces of hair around it. I brought stuff to clean it and had no issues after I had disinfected everything. Your averge public hot tub is way grosser so it was no big deal for us, especially after we had cleaned it ourselves.
The sheets were clean and definitely washed however, there was an old blood stain that was not removed by their bleach. We know it was bleached because it was not a fresh blood stain but a dark almost black/brown stain (how blood sometimes looks after being washed/bleached).
Lighting: Room had two lamps but no light in the room itself except for the bathroom and jacuzzi area.
Pillows: Each pillow only had one pillow cover with pillow underneath exposed. This is concerning because I dont think people want their face accidentally touching the bare pilllows. I will say they are the worst pillows ever. They are lumpy and impossible to sleep on. Luckily I always bring my own pillow and pillow case so no problem.
The fitted bed sheet/mattress protecter: Kept coming off while we slept which made us feel grossed out that our faces or feet could potentially be on the bare mattress.
Dust: Room had some visible dust not on the furniture itself but moreso in the air quality - you could see the dust particles floating in the air. The ability to be able to open our door to the outside to air it out was one of the reasons why I didnt mind the air dust so much.
Lastly, we specifically asked for the heart jacuzzi room with the beige/brown walls as shown in the listing pictures. The property responded that the beige walls were from the tower room. This was not accurate as the beige walls are clearly shown in the motel heart jacuzzi room. We got a room with green walls, no big deal.

It’s very convenient
Marijuana users should not be allowed inside the hotel.
The hallway is very smelly because of the marijuana.
There should be at least one small bottle of water for the guest in the room.

Location was very good and very convenient with multiple restaurants around
Room door had a gap below through which lot of dried leaves where coming inside and also cold winds over the night. So room would take time to heat during winter.

Place needs renovating. The pillows need replacing, holes and mole on walls. The toilet barely flushes. Air condition drips water onto balcony. I also paid extra for late check out but someone knocked at 11 and again at 11:30 giving us warnings…

Hotel was in a perfect location, just off Clifton Hill. We could walk to the casino, the falls, and restaurants.
Furniture was of poor quality, rips in chairs covered with tape. Shower was noisy. Towels were very small. TV channel options were very limited.

The location was perfect. It was away from the lights and noise of Clifton hill but close enough to walk. The staff were very friendly.
Although we were in an “updated” room, it was still a bit run down. The pillows were bad.
