    Every part of the hotel is dirty. Even the entry and lobby. Paper and dirty on the floors is the first thing you see when you walk and they made no effort to clean for 3 days. Shower in room was very dirty. TV did not work and you could not call front desk because phone in room did not work. Really sad. Could be a nice place with some effort but appears no one cares. Staff could care less when you try to talk to them about issues or anything. Would never stay here again

    We were excited to find a wonderful hotel close to Niagara Falls walking distance. Pictures online look good. After checking in at the hotel, we checked into our room, it was horrific!!! The room smelled so bad and musty and congested. The floor was icky and dirty, table tops were dusty. The bathroom sink has cracks, the toilet has water leaking around the caulking on the floor, which also has black mold and mildew around the sealant. In addition, the caulking sealant of the bathtub was filled with black mold and mildew. We reported the issues to the front desk, and was advised to use the room towels to dry the water leak around the toilet, because it was evening and no repair man was available. We could not do so by using room towels to soak dry the leaking water because we and customers do use those towels on our heads, faces and bodies. We refused to follow that advice and sought to be placed into a new clean room. We were told the hotel was fully booked, and we should spend the night in that room, and then come down early the next morning to request the manager for change of room. It was such a big inconvenience because we had to made changes to our Niagara Falls plans, because the manager didn't come in until after 9:15am. We had to clear our visit to and activities in Toronto from our schedule. We had to pack our stuff ready and put in storage ready to move to a different room per the manager, once we come back from our visiting the Niagara Falls on September 4th. One thing we found out the following day from the front desk staff that customarily, they clean the rooms every 3 days, not everyday, like other hotels. We had to go down to the front desk to request new towels to use. This may be one of the reasons why the rooms were dirty, icky filthy, and the hallways not swept either. Furniture in the lobby are old and dirty as well. Staff were nice, though. They tried their best to accommodate what they have available. But, we will never book with Singate nor Wyndham again. We do not recommend this place.

    The Location and the staffs were good enough but the property itself needs to be taken care of lots of noise from all sides of the room when someone walking around.

    We stayed at Wingate Niagara Falls as a family of 3 in September 2026 for 2 nights. The property is overall good-safe locality, breakfast provided, spacious room with refrigerator and microwave and a water refilling area are added advantage. BAD PART: After check in to the room, I figured out that the wash room is not properly cleaned...hair strands on the floor and all over the bath tub....when i tried to call the front desk, the direct phone in the room didnot work....i had to call from my mobile...on informing the front desk, a lady came in and recleaned the washroom. Later on we also found someone's used socks left in the walk in closet...Bathroom curtain has stains and not been clean after previous guest. Not at all happy with the house keeping facility at Wingate. Breakfast was good, varieties available but yogurt and apple quickly run out and not restocked in timely manner. I had to ask for yogurt thrice to 2 different staff, then got one. Otherwise the property is good and safe and at walkable distance from state park entrance.
