The front desk gave me a different room, not the one I had paid for, although I had already paid for breakfast. The associate refused it, and when I showed my proof, she accepted it, and when I refused the room which she offered me, she gave me a smaller room, but queen-size.

We chose this hotel because of the balcony and views, I would not stay again. I thought about asking for a different room, but it was pretty booked out and decided I could live with it for the few days we were there. The lobby was very nice, check in was smooth, when we got off the elevator on our floor, was hit with old hotel smell. Our room was ok, a little small but at least no smell. The bathroom was very small with a pedestal sink, no vanity or shelving to put anything. I had to keep moving my toiletry bag, couldn't unpack it like I prefer, it sat on the back of the toilet. They put towels, etc on the dresser in the room due to no space in the bathroom. A shelf above the toilet and/or beside the sink would have helped. Very electrical outlet deficient as well. One side of the bed had an outlet so at least my husband could plug in his c-pap machine. I had to charge my phone during the evening, across the room since I didn't have an outlet. The patio was nice, but the pavers were wobbly and the wrought iron taking could use some paint. Despite the updates needed, we did enjoy sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching the fireworks at night.

We were graciously upgraded to a top-floor suite with an amazing view of the falls. The nice Reception person (Anna) also helped us make a restaurant reservation for the evening. Breakfast was decent. The room had some problems with toilet flushing and door closing but they did not spoil our stay. The option of lower/softer pillows would be nice.

I paid for "deluxe view" which was supposed to have a full view of both falls, however, the room was on the 8th floor and my "deluxe view" included a view of the American Falls but the Horseshoe Falls was blocked by an 8-story building!! Plus, the AC was working in the room. I was given a ew room on the 9th floor but without the "deluxe view". The hotel's only accommodation for the lesser valued room was to comp my parking. Don't waste your money on the "deluxe view" if you aren't on the 9th floor, all lower floors have a giant builflding in your face!

Wonderful hotel with character and charm! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s clean, full of atmosphere, and has a special charm that makes it stand out. The lobby and elevators were especially impressive — you can truly feel the history of the place. The location is excellent, and we were lucky to have a room with a beautiful view of Niagara Falls. On the downside, the room was a bit too small for our liking, and the breakfast was quite basic. Staff very friendly and helpfu! It would be great to see more variety and especially more vegetables offered in the morning. Overall, a lovely place to stay — we’d definitely come back!

Expected more from a Hilton Brand. The lobbies were beautiful and clean but the bathroom in our room was HORRIBLE it was literally the size of a phone booth and it was dirty and grungy with mold. We had housekeeping come clean but literally had to go get a stronger cleaning product to get rid of the mold and mildew

We enjoyed that the Brock is a little outside the “thick of it” (ie Clifton Hill commercial street) and that the building has an interesting history. We were also happy with our excellent falls view from the 12th floor. Great breakfast buffet, definitely worth adding on via hotels.com for the $8 price tag. Desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Smallest showers I’ve ever experienced in my life on top of that the shower drain was clogged and we had to have maintenance come up on two separate occasions to try to unclog it. We asked to change, kept getting the run around being told they were sold out but you could see availability online. Would not go back

It was the convenience, location on the waterline, the swimming pool and the Falls view from my room that I liked most. I was a bit surprised that our room was not cleaned the next day when we were out until almost 2 pm on a tour of the Falls. The service was offered but after two, when we were back and needed to take showers, change, and relax after the tour and the boat ride and all the sightseeing. Frankly, for the price one pays for the falls view room, I expected better service.

The hotel was great, walking distance within a lot of good attractions. The rooms and hotel were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our overall stay was fun and and easy. The only con, it might have been a mistake of me not reading properly, but the pool on site was only for kids.
