Comfortable and homey, with a short walk to food, downtown, and the Falls.

Location was good for what we were looking for. Free parking at the property, and walking distance to Old Falls Street and the park. The breakfast was good - homemade and filling.

Parking is in the rear, but need to enter through the front, making it a longer walk when bringing in (and out) our luggage.

Perfect!

Beautiful, Charming house steps from the river. The host, Kim, is a polite, gracious host; full of information about the area and, all in all a very pleasant person to converse with. She was a jewel in our vacation. Super breakfasts set the stage for long days of exploring. Thanks so much Kim for making our time there so comfortable!

We would definitely stay again

Kim was a great host. Very knowledgeable. Breakfast of French toast, potatoes, fruit and juice. Very good. The house was beautiful. I was on a 60th birthday trip with my daughter. We had a nice room. We were out of the room most of the time.

Felt like a home with living room and dining table. It was nice to see all the flowers and gardens around the property. Nice architecture and creative decorations.

Kim the caretaker was wonderful. She prepared a fabulous breakfast. The ho E ery room was decorated with beautiful pieces The veranda was so relaxing use was perfect.

The TINY soaps Impossible to use. Use bottles with dispenser tops. Disappointed in the food. Eggs & French toast not fresh. Powdered eggs?? Regret this, too bad. Could have been so much better.

Kim made us feel very welcome and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. The location of the house is fantastic -- easy walking distance to Goat Island and the falls. We were only there for a couple nights, but it was a great place to stay!

The location is nice, close to the falls. Takes about 15mn to get there. The old style of the house is a nice touch.

The breakfast was really bad, unacceptable for the price paid. A single sad French toast, not well done. The day before, a dry omelette. The added bed in the room for a child was suited for camping but not for a B&B. Noisy bed and uncomfortable.

Excellent stay and I had a nice sleep here!

The location is so great! Just 10 to 15 minutes walking away from the Niagara Falls. And I really enjoy walking along the Niagara river from the neighborhood to the Goat Island. The breakfast is amazing, which is omelet wrapped cooked vegetables, with sausages, and potatoes! I hope I could try that again! Also you can discuss with the host your preference for the breakfast. Feel free to let the host know what you prefer. The host is enthusiastic and responsive! And the bedroom with the attached bathroom I stayed is exactly the same as shown in the photos, clean and tidy, with vintage and lovely style. Highly recommended staying here.

A little piece of heaven.

The tenant was adorable, she welcomed me warmly and kindly. My room was lovely, all purple and felt so comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good, whether it be the omelet and potatoes or the fruit salad. I felt safe going there as a 22 year-old girl.

Very sweet hostess and accommodating. We were able to see the Falls at night. Each room we used, had a shower in the bathroom. Parking off street was also very nice. It was very safe in this area.

We did not feel quite as spoiled as in other B&Bs when it came to the breakfast. We were given a couple of choices verbally the day before, and were given those meals, but nothing extra. No fruit or pastries out or orange juice or anything like that. As the female of the couple, I was offered less food. For the price, there should have been more food.

Affordable and comfortable stay in a slightly run down old house. Lots of promise!

Hanover House is a big, beautiful house in a fantastic location in Niagra Falls. The host is friendly and knowledgeable about the area with clear suggestions on enjoying the area. The rooms are clean comfortable and are decorated well.

Unfortunately, the owners and the host seem inexperienced at running a B&B. Upkeep feels neglected: there were water stains on the ceilings and the furniture showed signs of wear. Obvious improvements (like utilizing the large backyard as a social area) aren't done.

We could easily walk to the river, falls, and local restaurants. My room had a large vanity table in the bathroom. Kim was charming and very helpful and made good omelettes for breakfast.

it seemed run down and cluttered with excess furniture and artificial flowers. My room lacked comfortable seating. The noise of the air conditioner kept me awake the first night; by the second night, it was quieter when I took it off the energy setting. The windows appeared to be painted shut.

Nice Host, mediocre place

Location is great, parking and breakfast. The host is very nice and accommodating which made up for a lot.

For the price and value, they don’t equal out. WiFi isn’t really working too well, living area is limited as if people aren’t meant to use it if they want to do more than just sit there. Piano needs tuning, tv needs to be fixed, there are quite a bit of bugs and hair. Not ideal.

We thought B&B would turn out to be a lot cheaper than hotel. For $20 more I could have had a hotel much closer to the water so I'd not say it is best value at all.
