Overall, very poor cleanliness-wise, the flooring was very sticky, and the mop they used probably was not properly clean

I was told i do not have breakfast included even though it was upon confrontation they said yes it was a mistake but i was still charged for it at the time of check out. I had to call and get it correct. It gave a feel of trust issue.

Ghetto fabulous

Location was convient.

Parking was supposedly 10$ which the listing didnt claim. My room had a blood smear on the bathroom door right when I walked in. Disgusting. Also the "upgraded" a/c unit hardly allows you to lower the temperature. Lowest you could set the room for was 67 and its a vented system so it was not powerful at all. Would not recommend this hotel

We entered the reception to a dirty entrance a very cold feel n felt very isolated scary.

The reception was dirty looked very cold felt like ghost town, no warm feeling to the place carpets had dirty marks . would not stay here again.

No hangers in the closet (we asked for them and they never came) and no soap in the shower.

Unpleasant

The reception (Michaela) at check out was courteous and understanding.

First the room was warm and after trying to adjust the temp we learned that it was being controlled by front desk. Second, we went out to dinner and when we returned we could not enter the room. The keys were reprogrammed, they did not work. The hotel staff came and they couldn’t open. We were left in the hallway at 11 at night. Twenty thirty minutes later it resets and we were able to open the door with no assistance from the hotel.

Hot and humid in the hotel and hallways, room temp was hot and AC barely kept up. Half of the lamps/lights didn’t work. All locked down bottles of shampoo, cond., and body wash were empty. Tub didn’t hold water, and ice machine rarely worked. Coffee maker had leftover coffee pod in it.

Very nice, will use again

Internet didnt work in 1 of the TV's . We reported it to the front desk, but it wasnt fixed. Was jus there for 1 night so no problem. Our rate didnt include breakfast, but the restaurant looked ok. We used the coffee maker in the room. The room was extremely spacious and bed very comfortable.

Very large rooms

The key factor here is the friendliness of their staff. The ladies at reception desk literally go out of their (busy) way to get you everything you need, always willing to help more, always with their best big smile on their faces. Not common at all for hotels in the US, not at least budget or holiday resorts, come to that. Rooms are quite large and spacious, which make them ultra comfortable and there's a multi functional bar / restaurant which also serves Starbucks coffee quite convenient for the weary traveller. Windows in the room can't be opened, but the airco is surprisingly efficient (I personally hate aircos and always struggle to get the room to a temperature of my liking) but you can tell they have best in class technology and so not having the chance to open the window doesn't become a problem at all, kudos to that!

The main aspect is cleaniness, they made my room but did not run the vacuum cleaner on the carpet and so you could still make out little scraps and crumbs on the floor, also we got new towels but oddly the old ones were left inside the bathroom forming a pile! The cluntertops were not cleansed, and neither were the wc or bathroom floor. Whether this is an established problem or just a casual mistake, I don't know, so all I can do is share my personal experience. Also, although the external isolation is brilliant (we were facing an avenue and never heard a single car passing), we did hear what we deemed to be the tv set from the neighbouring room. Again, whether this is the norm or just a case of pot luck where I got stuck with a particularly loud neighbour, I don't have a way to know, but in any case you might want to make sure you request a room with extra privacy when checking in.

Nothing out of the ordinary stay.

The room rates were too pricey. I originally booked 2 nights and was promised a third night at the same rate. When we decided to stay an extra night however we were informed by another desk clerk that they couldn’t honor that rather and we were ch $50 more for the same room.

Don’t waste your money!

It had a Starbucks but it was poorly staffed.

Our room smelled like a cat had urinated or sprayed in our room. There were cobwebs in places that there should not have been. We did not receive fresh towels for our 2nd night of stay. We had a much better experience at the Best Western in Buffalo and it was half the price.

I would return to The Courtyard by Marriot and I wouldn’t change a thing.

It is within walking distance of the falls and many restaurants. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space to lounge comfortably in the lobby and on the patio. The food is very tasty and served in a timely manner. The drinks are mixed to perfection. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
