Big enough to accommodate all of us
Broken furniture and they accuse me for it, and they want me to pay for it at a higher price.
No heaters, no hot water in the morning and we had to travel without shower in the morning people who had sex in the morning.

Very impressed by this accommodation.
Good clear communication and professional hosts.
High tech, secure and easy access with the electronic codes for the main door and room door.
Property and room were immaculate, even the shared areas.
Room and bed were really nice and comfortable with a great on-suite bathroom and nice extras with the telly, fridge and nice touches with the water and tea/coffee in the room.
Great location too.
Nothing not too like really, only thing I could come up with there was a clothes rail which would be good if you wanted to hang up your clothes but there was no clothes hangers.

Its near the city centre
You'll have hard time to carry luggages if you're in room 7 because its the uppermost level and the stairs is a bit narrow

We had a very short stay for one night only at Ocho Homes by Eight Continents (arrived late at night and left in the morning). We just about managed to find a parking space outside on the street. Although the outside of the house appeared messy with overflowing bins, the inside appeared clean and recently refurbished.
The room was comfortable and had a chest of drawers, kettle with tea/coffee facilities, a fridge, bathroom. The room was small and just enough to place a small suitcase, but was sufficient and apt for our short stay for the night.
This is located quite favourably close to the Queen's University, therefore appears walkable distance from some popular attractions.
Room was small and therefore felt cramped, but it was sufficient for a one night stay. The overflowing bins right outside the house was not a great sight.

Location. Close to Queens University.
Room had no view and bathroom was small.

It was clean comfortable and good value for money.
The area was not very attractive, & the room was quite small, but the value for money made up for that.

Very clean and hosts did their best to decorate the space that was available.
I cannot begin to describe how noisy the room was. Being in room 2, we could hear steps from people upstairs, noise from the street, from when people were coming in, from the kitchen, through the night. Unfortunately it is an old house with thin walls and wood floots, so they can't do anything about it but it's very clean and felt safe.
Also, extra tiny bathroom sink.

Lovely apartment next to the university, walking distance from the city center, clean, comfortable and silent. Friendly staff, kindly offered an early check in. Free tea and coffee provided. Kitchen use. Supermarket and food places are nearby. Recommended.
I wish a room was slighly bigger, other than that everything was good

Location and cost
The eyelash from the previous people staying and the cigarette butt 🤮 also the person shouting at us for playing some music and 930pm! Could have asked us nicely but no. He shouted CUT IT OUT NOW

Location, proximity to Queen’s University and shops, room layout.
Long narrow steps up to the room. Best not to bring a big, heavy suitcase if you’re in the top floor.

Room was a bit on the small side but suited our needs for a concert nearby

I didn’t stay at the property because the host overbooked so I was moved to other accomodation at 1am on the night of my arrival
The host was extremely disorganised. He was rude on the phone when I called to ask why the room I booked was already occupied by a couple. He had two of his friends come pick me up at 1am to take me to different accomodation. They didn’t provide me with the name or address of the new accomodation prior to getting in the car with two strangers. He didn’t provide me with a car number plate or name to verify the drivers who were collecting me. They didn’t even help me with my multiple bags. Overall it was a very anxiety-inducing and frustrating experience, particularly as a young woman on her own, in a new city, at midnight.

Everyone who works with the property is amazing - housekeeping and management. It was thoroughly cleaned every day, and the kitchen facilities were all I needed to prepare food. The location was also fabulous.

Convenient location, in residential/university area with free on street parking. Area was quiet with some cafes and restaurants nearby. Overall modern room well suited for a solo traveller. Host was fast to respond to issues. Close to university, botanic gardens and Ulster museum and short distance from city centre.
There was an awkward mixup with misallocated room number on arrival which meant disturbing other guests. There was a false fire alarm during the night, which possibly isn't something that could be avoided but it did cause disturbance and continued to beep after being cancelled by someone.

Excellent location, cafes and restaurants close. There is a Tesco nearby too. The staff is amazing, there were so helpful and quickly responding. The room was clean and cosy with a private bathroom. There was a shared kitchen which was really convenient, as we could do breakfast.

Located close to university.
Location is good
Room 4 key wouldn't lock properly so we had to take everything valuable with us as we couldn't trust who would go into an unlocked room.

The street outside was untidy with bins and rubbish around the front door. The house opposite was derelict. Parking was tricky, not many spaces.
In the apartment for my son there were cobwebs and the base of the shower needed a very good clean.
In our room there were no hooks to help hang towels or clothes. There were at least 5 cushions on the bed but no where to put them other than the floor. Our major complaint was the fire alarm! This went off at 5.30 am. Fortunately it proved to be a false alarm. 2 other residents knew how to switch it off, we would not have known how to silence the alarm. We then had neighbours have an altercation outside our window and at 6.30 am one of the residents emptied the dishwasher and made their breakfast. All contributing to a disturbed night!
Cleanliness
A false fire alarm, and us feeling we could not have dealt with thiis

Room was nicely appointed, felt like hotel quality but also super homey. Plenty of sheets, pillows and towels provided! All areas v clean and cozy. Full size kitchen, also spotless however did not avail of cooking facilities. Request for top floor room was accommodated. Close to Botanic Gardens and uni. No staff on site but clear entry and exit instructions. Thanks for the overnighter!

Room was quite nice. Well decorated and comfortable. Secure. Picked up keys (one for room and for house) from a designated lockbox with a code. Quiet inside. Good location. Short walk from center of Belfast. Ulster museum and the botanical gardens are literally across the street.
It is down the street from Queens University so lots of youths and activity. Take that as you will. Sometimes a little noisy.

The Anam Cara House is in a great location, a very short walk to the Botanical Garden and the Cork City Museum. Being next to the University, the walk to and from city center felt safe. They made it very easy to get the keys and let ourselves in.
The room was a little smaller than I expected.

7.0 / 10.0
The style of the room was really nice. The cleaning staff was really friendly. The communication with the owner was really good and nice.
Too much airspray in the room I had to open the windows to get some fresh air. The floor was very loud you could hear every step from the other rooms. Also the conversations of the roommates you could hear every word.

Kitchen was good
To begin, the room is certainly NOT deluxe! The street it's located on is extremely run down, boarded up houses across the street, rubbish on the footpaths. This certainly isn't a great advert for Belfast. The room itself is pretty small, you can just about open the bathroom door. The bathroom itself was small - tiny hand basin which causes water to splash all over the floor. The shower had grime round the bottom. The room looked nothing like the pictures advertised online and the deluxe room is certainly false advertising. The walls are very thin so you can hear other guests talking in the kitchen and outside. I was in room 2 at the front of the house and the creaky floors above were a nightmare - all you can hear are other guests walking around which disturbed my sleep. The accommodation is over priced for what you get. I wouldn't recommend based on a poor experience over two nights.

Nothing
To start with the property is located on an extremely dodgy street, boarded up houses, rubbish strewn across the footpath and half the street was blocked off with police cones at one point during our stay. The actual room itself is ridiculously TINY, you can’t even open a suitcase. The bathroom was tiny to the point where you could barely put your hands under the tap and the shower had lots of gunk and grime. Our room looked nothing like the pictures advertised online and to call it a ‘deluxe room’ is absolutely false advertising. The walls are paper thin so you can hear other guests talking, watching tv etc not to mention how creaky the floors are so you can hear other guests walking around which disturbed sleep. This accommodation is outrageously priced for what you get.
I would caution anyone wanting to book a stay here and would certainly not recommend.

Disgusting location not a guest house, not 'fantastic' more house of multiple occupation for students. TIny cramped room and way overpriced. On road parking not what we expected. I have requested a refund or credit.
Everything hugely disappointing, location, bed, room, on street parking in area run down with boarded-up derelict buildings, bins turned over and rubbish strewn about. Did not feel safe.

Clean, good bedding
No bath towel, just hand towels! Not serviced or towels provided in my 3 night stay!
Tiny sink, no soap or shower gels,
NOISY!!! Walls are paper thin (heard snoring from next door)! Noise from guests in and out all night! Student neighbours out backyard having parties!!
Had to sleep with earplugs to try get sleep!!
No teaspoons or stirrers for making tea!

Great stay, exceeded my expectations. The cleaner I seen was great, accommodating and really friendly. Would highly recommend this place and would be confused if anyone didn't enjoy their time here. Thank you again.
