friendly receptionist - easy check in , good location in a mainly residential area. Bar and breakfast staff great as well. only niggle is my room in the apartments had some stains ( mud ?) on the carpet.

Staff were friendly. Newly decorated and bed was really comfortable

No kettle in the room. Had to ask for one and was told there was a coffee machine but no way to use the tea bags placed in the room. The shower didnt work properly and reported this 3 times but was never looked at.

The newly renovated apartment had everything we needed! Staff were excellent. Super clean and comfortable!

Sadly, hotel was under renovation so we didn’t have breakfast.

Pillows were a little hard for my liking but that’s probably because I only like a very flat pillow.

Apart from the abismal breakfast everything else was wonderful.

The room was bliss; spacious, beautifully appointed, everything considered and quietly elegant. It was also quiet. The bathroom was also fabulous with a super powered shower, lovely products and well thought out space and mirrored. I especially loved the light up magnifying mirror and the heated rail.

The breakfast was awful. Not enough fresh fruit, variety of healthy cereals, granolas, no nuts or seeds, no selection of bread. The dinner was excellent the night before so if the breakfast choices could be improved with fresh artisan breads and croissants and a bigger more enticing selection of continental choice with fresh baked goods and condiments, it would have been a great start to the day. The coffee in the coffee machine was awful and when I tried a hot chocolate it was empty.

At times frustrating as difficult to find staff late at night to replace what was not in our room.

The hotel was in a good location.

The cleaners did not replace the towels that had been left on the bathroom floor, they did not replace the tea and coffee, or toilet roll. I had to ask reception for it.

A great city break

The room was adjacent to the hotel across the road but it was lovely and spacious. It was a very quiet area and hardly any noise from other guests. We opted for breakfast and were able to cross the road and get a lovely breakfast. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

We registered for parking at the hotel which we thought was free but we had to pay 20 pounds for 2 nights of parking which was something we overlooked but the parking facilities were good and close to the hotel so we couldn't really complain. It was an oversight on our part.

The room I stayed in was modern & I love that they provided so many pillows. I enjoyed the Rituals shower products too. Location was perfect & scenic.

Access was easy and a separate kitchen and sofa was nice.

I had a separate annexed apartment and the first night the room was not serviced afterward and I had to buy extra toilet roll and teabags. I also had to fix the independent heating myself as it was not pressurised enough. Had to pay for parking even though the original literature said free onsite parking but hey if they can charge for it lets annoy the customer

Good location, parking & good breakfast.

I was in the building opposite the main hotel on the other side of the road. It was a bit cold, the road was slippy & covered with leaves & messy to walk across to at night. The bathroom fittings were tired and some needed replaced.

Coffee pot didn’t work properly. No dressing gowns/slippers… minimal products in bathroom. Flimsy cheap toilet paper. Dusty phone and lights obvious to the naked eye

Nice location - poor attention to customer service

Location - close to transport & restaurants & pubs

We requested room with a bath, when I booked 2 months ago. No bath, placed in mobility assisted room with inappropriate bathroom spaces, with loud air con system outside our window. Reception staff on 1st night could not ( or would not?) move us to better room. We arrived 1 hr before check in, with bath request. We returned 1 hr after check in, but no help or change. Adjoining room door was discovered to be unlocked 4 hrs after we checked in ( after going out to dinner)

Ok .. not brilliant but ok

Lovely room, I had the apartment that was spacious and the facilities were great apart from the shower.

I had no hot water in my shower for 2 of the 3 days of my stay. Used the bath with shower head but not great. Staff were ok. Didn’t really come across as helpful or bothered unless they were asking for money. Parking is £10 a day which wasn’t mentioned when booking and if people could park correctly on the street outside you wouldn’t need to use the car park

Hotel was a good location. Bed so comfortable. Spacious room and great powerful shower.

Not having an earlier check in which is nothing major just we had a lot on that day/night so would of liked to of gone from the airport an checked in straight away to then be set up for our full day/night activities. But we ended up checking in really late in the night instead!'
