Good location next to train station and center areas
Terrible soundproofing in rooms next to street and switching on one’s bedside light would make the whole room bright as day.

The staff from the first day was very helpful. I had reserved a shared dorm but changed my mind on the way and asked to be switched to a private room. The lady at the reception was very nice. Only good thing.
My room had bed bugs. Thankfully, Booking Customer Service was very helpful and spoke with th reception prior to when I went down to let me know what the options were (i.e. changinf rooms or getting a full refund). I picked the full refund, got dressed, packed my suitcase and went down to reception to claim it. The manager tried to dissuade me from the full refund for about 10 minutes, letting me know they could wash my clothes and give me a new room. When I told them I didn’f feel comfortable with that because I know how bed bugs work and they travel from room to room as it’s an infestation he accused me of bringing the bed bugs from my own home. He also asked me whether I’d been bitten, to which I replied that I couldn’t say for sure yes at that particular moment, seeing as I just rushed out as soon as I saw them (ended up finding out a couple hours later that I had, in fact, been bitten), he tried to offer me a new room again because ‘if they hadn’t bitten me then why would I need a refund.
The bedding was stained, the room was dusty, and the bathroom was terribly built (the shower wasn’t enclosed so it wet the toilet). Just because I’m travelling on a budget, doesn’t mean I don’t deserve basic human decency in my lodgings.

The staff were absolutely lovely.
The location felt a little unsafe and I know it’s a hostel (I’ve stayed in lots of different ones) but this was very basic and didn’t feel the cleanest

Fantastic little cafe, on the ground floor with a great menu selection, friendly & helpful staff
Dont understand why I.d is needed to be produced every time I stay. Even though I have stayed there several times.

Clean and convenient.
Staff are friendly.
Showers and toilets maybe need upgrading but it’s an old building

Always clean and no trouble, staff were friendly and v helpful.
Some minor issues with lights and the self catering kitchen didn’t have everything needed but other than that it was perfectly fine.

The staff was very friendly, i got lost trying to the room and the lady at the desk helped me right away she was very kind. The room was different from the photos but it was still comfortable to sleep in
( i stayed in a private double bedroom with private bathroom)Just that the room was different from the photos but it was still a very nice room.

Nothing. Horrible experience. Don’t book this accommodation, nightmare.
The toilet, OMG, manual hot water shower, have to press it non-stop throughout the shower, so uncomfortable, toilet floor super disgusting, sticky + rough… water clogged up while using the sink. There are stains on bedsheets and I’ve suffered from bites from bed bug. Horrible. The price is like paying for a decent, comfortable hotel but getting a dirty and unpleasant place. Also, heater is not working during the night, room was freezing cold, no charging sockets beside the bed too, only 2 in the whole room.

Location is a win… staff were lovely… restraint next door does a top breakfast and is a must!!
Underbed padlock able trays
Would be good if they sold on site pad locks… possibly they could sell them in a vending machine meaning staff were not responsible… and therefore no one’s property would be at risk.

Small dormitory rooms - we feel cramped. Also not good value for money.
Should be 30% cheaper due to very basic facilities.
Add electrical plugs for each bed.
Add curtains to beds for more privacy.

Location was good. It wasn't too far from things. Great irish restaurant around the corner called darcys.
On site cafe open till 2pm. Really reasonable prices. Was able to store luggage once checked out too. Water was hot and bed was comfortable. Was able to borrow a hair dryer from reception too.
The room was way too cold. The heating is on a timer and only comes on at 10pm for a couple of hours it seems. When it did come on the radiator barely heated up. We were very cold. If the heating was better then we would stay again, but it was too cold for us. Shower has a press button which was a bit of a pain. Needs some hooks for coats and maybe a shelf by the sink too.

Beds were comfortable
Just very basic - thin duvets, holes in the sheets, noisy draughty windows, shower and basin taps have to be pressed every ten seconds or so

Fantastic price, its basic room, for a twin room with 2 beds & a unsuite, with a shower & lots of hot water, location was good & easy to get to, limited parking but parked on a side street around the back, steel frame bed, heavy tog duvet, another pillow maybe but besides that, It was very quiet, I slept well & has a very good cafe on the ground floor, and all staff were friendly & helpful, diff will be back again
You get what you pay for, basic room but very well priced, probably the limited parking around the back

A very basic Hostel, don't expect anything luxury
No outlet next to the bed..

Near to the city centre. Kelly on reception was particularly helpful.
The staff. The cafe and it's staff.
Check in at 3 pm, a bit late.
Re the private room with shared bathroom - the bed was uncomfortable and very loudly squeaky!

Good location and competitive prices
Weak heating made our room very cold during both day and night. The building seemed old so it had bad insulation that made the sounds and the cold more noticeable than desired

Shower was hot
Did not feel like a friendly place.

The location is quite good, walking distance to main sights (city hall, queens university, etc).
The staff at the front desk were very helpful and kind.
The room did not seem very clean (I asked at the front desk if it’s ok I changed from the assigned bunk because the sheets very stained - which I’m aware doesn’t mean they were not washed but still).
The facilities were even worse, the shower was dirty and the toilet was not functional one morning.

Room felt a bit corwded and also bit warm and less ventilation
the bathroom and toilet seems very old but functional. hot water control is not good

The price.... and that's it.
The place was very unhygienic, mold in the bathrooms and water damage in the rooms. The ceiling panels actually got blown away by the wind. Bed linnen are not removed once a guest has left. Beds are creaky and not stable. Location is somewhat okay but you are near the bad side of the town and it is a good 30 minute walk through to get somewhat to the city centre. Only recommended if the budget does not allow for anything better.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The property itself was a little rundown but perfectly fine for a hostel.
The windows are single pane and the hostel is across the road from a very lively pub. It was very noisy all evening, and even with earplugs I struggled to get to sleep. I was then woken in the night by fighting and then up early due to loud road noise.

Everything from curtious welcoming lady at reception to the facilities it was perfect for my stay and managed to get access to the free limited car spaces.👌
Wasn’t there long enough to find faults but would imagine there’d still be none.

Second time staying here. The staff have been consistently lovely and helpful. Great value for money as well.
The plumbing could use some work! The sink in the room was kind of clogged a bit and took a long time to drain.

Lovely staff, good placement for trains and activities in town.
1.0 / 10.0
The toilets and shower rooms are outside the bedrooms and they are extremely dirty. The shower room does not drain water quickly which means you need to stand in dirty bathwater for about 10 minutes for all the water to drain. Some of the shower rooms have the kind of tap that you need to keep holding continuously for the water to stay on. Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to install such a tap for shower rooms. The staff were good though.

staff was very helpful. Even tough there were still time for the check-in they see me tired and made my check in way too early. Also the location is perfect just 10mins walking from/to city hall.
in the photos it looked clean and tidy but i can say that bunk beds are too old and need to be repaired. The water accumulates in the shower, and since there’s no showerhead, it makes for a very difficult shower experience.

3.0 / 10.0
The staff at check-in were super nice, and you can check in quite late, which is convenient.
The double-room with private bathroom had no soap (not even hand soap by the toilet), and no towel. There was one communal bathroom for the entire floor outside, and even that bathroom, despite having a dispenser, had no soap. The bed was uncomfortable and sheets frayed, and the hallway loud both at night and in the morning.

The hostel is secure, and has some limited private/free parking at the back. The rooms are secure, and aside from the traffic, it's fairly quiet. The daytime staff were very friendly and helpful. The showers were hot. It is cost effective for the proximity to the city.
The amount of rules at this place gives some idea to the trouble the must obviously have. The rooms were very basic, no towels or even a chair in the room. The water from the taps in the room isn't drinkable. The cafe downstairs served the worst coffee I ever tasted. It's right next to a big unionist area, and you feel unsafe very quickly if you take a wrong turn. Drunk/drugged people outside the hostel late at night. Night staff were functional, but abrupt - didn't feel like I was welcomed back so must as functionally allowed to enter. The bedding was clean, but the beds were uncomfortable, and there was a smell of damp.

Fantastic good old-fashioned Service. Highly recommend this stay could not fault them on one single thing when above and beyond most hostels. Highly highly highly recommend cannot explain how much I recommend these guys.
Absolutely nothing they were Stella in their customer service

Good location
It’s very basic, but you get what you pay for. Our room 101 was at the front of the hotel which was facing the main road. Terrible for noise of traffic & bus stop outside.
7.0 / 10.0
No breakfast provided - cafe next door, but I preferred shops like Tesco Express for a croissant and a pint of milk and a piece of fruit.
Navy showers have never been a fave of mine. The low point of each day, but everything else I've already rated, plus a TV room, usually deserted in late afternoon, with lots of channels to choose from, made up for it.

Location
The overall cleanliness was very poor. Toilet handwash was not refilled even after asking. The shower area had water logging. The kitchen sink was clogged. Kitchen was very untidy.

Easy access to areas south of Centre City. Just across the street from Allen’s Bud yours for easy AM meet up (though our tour ended up in Centre City so we had to walk or uber our way back - still, the morning convenience was worth it!) nice pub choices within walking distance.
Bathroom smelled a bit musty. Not a fan of the wet room roach to showers, but that’s personal choice. We had a double twin room w/bath, Not a standard hostel reservation.

really was spotlessly clean...hats off to the management ...great showers
all 4 beds in the dorm were very squeaky
