A lovely and comfortable stay overall, with just a small issue at check-in.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is beautiful, very cozy, and has an amazing atmosphere. Everything was super clean and well maintained — the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The decoration is lovely and thoughtfully done, and the space overall feels welcoming and pleasant. We stayed there with friends and had a great experience from start to finish. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with great vibes.

We had a slightly uncomfortable situation upon arrival. We had informed the property in advance that we would arrive after the check-in time, as we were travelling by car and leaving Cork after work. Even so, one of our friends was not allowed to enter the shared room we had booked after 11 p.m. As a result, he had to pay an extra £60 for a private room. We felt there could have been a bit more flexibility, especially since we had given prior notice about our arrival time. This was the first time we experienced this kind of situation in an accommodation. Apart from this issue, the experience was very good and the accommodation is truly excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

I’m officially a vagabond!

I’ve stayed at Vagabonds twice so far during my travels. They’re one of the best! Very welcoming and easy to get to know people and very social. Pub crawls, live music and drinks nights, shared kitchen and dining area. It’s just a great vibe. And so clean! Every day they clean the whole place between 11am-1pm until it’s spotless! Many names I could mention, but Max and Sophia were particularly helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The place has a warm and welcoming design, and the staff are genuinely hospitable. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable, making the stay very pleasant. The breakfast is light yet tasty — a lovely way to start the day.

Fun vibes and excellent company.

I really liked how comfy the room was. They put two pillows inside the pillow case so the pillow isn't flat. Also, the hostel is very homey and encourages people to talk to each other. I have stayed at far bigger hostels with lots of people and not spoken to anyone :( . They do movie nights here. It was great. I made a lot of friends, played drinking games with them, went to the pub. There is a whatsapp group chat. Also, Troy and Birdie were fantastic. They were both super friendly and gave good recommendations. It is 10 pounds for laundry but the staff do it for you, do you don't have to worry. I gave my laundry to Troy and had 4 shirts that couldn't go through a dryer. He hung them for me which was fantastic.

I only booked it for 3 nights, should have booked it for longer.

Great location, great value for the your money

I liked the staff, all were very friendly, open and eager to help when you had questions. They provided me with ear plugs in case Iwas sensitive to noises. The general area was clean, cozy and felt like at home. The kitchen was clean, had all the necessary utensiles so you can cook a home made dinner. It was a nice thought that there was a simple breakfast (cereal, toast, jam, coffee and tea) in case you might be hungry :D The room was big (not too crowded) with comfortable beds.

It was a bit hot during the night, eventhough the windows were open.

This was exactly what I could hope for from a hostel: Friendly staff, Clean, Great location, and really cool decor; remi

felt like a cozy, lived-in home. Was greeted and invited to hang out with the staff and other guests. Easy to check-in and never had to wait for the bathroom or shower. Great water pressure!! This place seems to attract really cool travelers who are interested in making friends/having a fun time together

I guess just the small lockers (BYO standard size lock; small locks won’t work), but there was plenty of space under the bottom bunks to store suitcases etc

I felt safe and comfortable, liked my roommates and the hostel was great, I'd stay again

I stayed in a 6-bed room for females, though the room was almost full I had a comfortable sleep and had enough air. The bathrooms are definitely not luxury (smaller one on the 2nd floor would benefit form having a shelf), but overall impression is good. The hostel feels very comfortable from inside, I liked all the art on the wall, pillows on sofas and the breakfast was nice too.

I would prefer the breakfast food to be clearly marked (if vegan, gluten free etc.). During the cleaning hours it is hard to find a quiet spot in the hostel (vacuum cleaner, open windows, cleaning of toilets and bathrooms).

A hostel that is not memorable.

Location that’s it!

Never saw the person in the desk has a limited time (2 pm-8 pm approx). If you need to call you need to be able to dial internationally and has no WhatsApp and does not answer emails right away. The bathroom has a good system of many showers and toilets however you have no place to put your shampoo or heavier things so they go in the floor though you got hangers in and lack of lighting inside. If you check in after 8 pm you need to go and pick up your card in a bar around the corner ( I don’t understand why can’t he leave it inside the building instead of one waking with the luggage in a bar and look for the person who gives you the card and charges you). The rooms need better air flow!! My bunk bead was squeaking whenever I would move the person in the bottom would wake up. Good things: location, common amenities and that’s it.

The staff make your stay feel like you’re in a home away from home. It’s very comfortable to just sit on the couch and hang out with anybody and not feel weird. It’s a wonderful community.

Staff were very friendly and approachable. Each bed had their own plug. Spacious recreation room. Very friendly and hospitable hostel! Will stay again.

Lack of lockers but was replaced by a "cage" (but it still could not be locked). Check-in closed at 9pm which was very early.
