    Great location and payable parking available outside . Main shopping areas walking distance . Breakfast huge choice and unlimited . Bar open 24 hours . Room comfortable and large with shower .

    On arrival i was told I needed to pay. I had already paid. The receptionist persisted with you have not paid flustered i found my booking and receipt of payment. The receptionist then proceeded to ask another person what to do I was then told at the age of 61 that I had to give a deposit on the room for damages, which I did . A couple next to me checking in had no such questions or demands for money. Double standards. I was given a key told my room number. I had made requests on booking si i asked for confirmation of them. Answer given was should be. On entering the room , clean, presentable, the tv remote was cracked (i took a picture, just in case). The bathroom was extremely clean, however, when i went to shower the next morning I couldn’t reach the shower head has it was set to the highest point. I wasn’t going to call reception for assistance. I went down to breakfast and the bacon was hard, the fried egg over cooked, the beans dry, the sausages overcooked, the scrambled egg looked okay. There were numerous other choices fresh fruit, fruit salad , toast, pastries, hot drinks, fruit juices. I wouldn’t have wanted to pay extra for it but included with the room it was adequate. The staff never spoke other than to each other and one stood there taking sleep out of his eyes!! On departure i gave my key to the same receptionist who had caused me the issues the previous evening. The location was 6mins walk away from Grand Central in 30degree heat it felt more like 40mins.
