I didn’t like anything. This is my worst experience in the UK. First they gave me a room which wasn’t cleaned and then they gave me a different room which was full of dirt and bed sheet, pillows were dirty. Looks like there’s no one to clean. They just re use the blankets and towels. I had to book a different hotel and check out. I sent all the photos and didn’t get any refund or response. Don’t book this …even if the price is 25 per night.

Location and cleanliness of room were what was needed

No staff on site when problems arose. Fire alarm went off at 9pm and no one there to deal with it. I had to call fire service and to let them in to property etc

Lots of stairs, low ceiling in attic room.

The room is simply laid out, had towels and a private bathroom. Had a mirror and plenty of plug sockets. If you're looking for cheap and passable as a group you'd be fine but I've stayed in nicer hostels - so I'd choose a hostel over this.

A male member of staff came into my room without warning while I was in the bathroom, I didn't know they were staff and when I asked the man to leave he said he wanted to check on me. This obviously made a solo traveller feel unsafe and so I called the emergency OYO number and had no response. I left and moved to another hotel and OYO did get back to me the next day to say it was a mistake and the staff member got the wrong room - reckon you'd be fine as a group but I wouldn't recommend staying here solo. Did not feel professional or safe, I've never had a staff member just walk into my room in any other hotel, BNB etc. The bed is a fold out style metal bed and was very very uncomfortable to sleep on, it was also loud if you turned over (and I'm a pretty short small person, around 60kg for reference) The room wasn't clean (lots of dust and bits of stuff on the floor, thick mold on the shower, marks on the sheets, hair in the sink. When trying to shower the whole shower filled immediately due to the drain being blocked. You'll see lots of reviews on this so make your peace with it or stay somewhere else. There are no hooks for towels or coats etc, it would be especially helpful if there were hooks in the bathroom for your towels, no shower mat. The building as a whole was very noisy and there were people smoking joints and cigarettes outside so there's a lot of people hanging around when you're trying to come and go. They've left it off of Google photos but this is a terraced house and the house next is derelict which makes it feel further unsafe. The location is ok in the daytime but at night you walk past a lot of empty houses and side alleys so again a deterrent for solo travellers. It takes about 20 mins to walk to the majority of the shopping area / City Hall.

Perfect location. Spacious room, clean and comfortable

Room no.5 was adjacent to our room (no.4), we could hear their early morning conversation at 8am (sunday morning) unsure if they were on a phonecall or just speaking to whoever shared the room with them.. rooms weren't very soundproof.

It was clean, well laid out and all in good condition, just little area to put your clothes.

everything else...one towel for two people...terrible bed, filthy, bathroom sink was blocked, shower was awful. could not get hold of the people.

We were very unhappy with the accommodation and left soon after arrival. It was dingy, dirty and mouldy in the tiny room, and people were smoking at the front door step. There is a derelict building next door attached. No staff on site and nobody answered calls untill we contacted booking.com. This place has 3 stars for some unknown reason. Nowhere near 1 star. We were promised a full refund of the 3 nights we had booked, but have yet to receive it. We had to book another place, so our trip was under pressure with having to pay twice for a hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The only real pro of this stay was the location.

Not clean (dirt on walls, old contact lenses on the floor, shower head in need of cleaning, towel stained). Only one (again, stained) bath towel even though the booking was for two people. One hand towel provided, also stained. Provided soap/shampoo mostly empty bottles of very low quality. It was also very loud - the walls are super thin. I attempted to contact the property three different ways on the day prior to arrival (WhatsApp, email and phone call) and never received a response - though I have received multiple requests later to leave a review, so here we are.

Clean room, large room, with ensuite. Basic needs, tv, tea making facilities in room. Fast Internet. . Separate area on ground floor for lounge and eating if you wish. Access via digital keypad, so no key to lose.

Easy access nice tidy and very nice staff to help 2nd time at property ill certainly be back 😊

The bed is very bad for my back. The neighbor is a bit sketchy and unclean. Hard to roam around by myself

Conveniently situated near botanic area. Simplicity of the automated check in and entrance to property. Big comfortable bed and good shower. A lot cheaper than most other hotels in Belfast. It was quiet.

The area/road seemed a bit rough, but I think there's just quite a few buildings being redeveloped.

Location and price were good.

Kitchen was filthy. All appliances seemed to have a layer of dusty grease on them. The only cutlery available were butter knives, all of which were dirty. My room was clean, but bed was very flimsy and uncomfortable. Walls are very thin and entrance door didn't seem very strong. There was a stale smell throughout the building, like it hasn't been aired out or deep cleaned in a long time. I understand this was a cheap room, but I have stayed in similarly priced places in Belfast and they have been pleasant. There is no excuse for conditions like this. Go elsewhere.

It was in a good area near the uni, but the section of the street that it’s on is bleak. Empty properties around it and the entrance is quite grim (inside & out). My room was a decent size though

The walls were more like partitions. You could hear everything from the people next door. When I turned my light off, you could see the light coming through from next door. The walls & floors were in need of a proper clean & the room smelled like stale smoke. Also when I turned the light/fan on the bathroom, fresh cigarette smoke would arrive

I like that the room was tidy and clean, nice window and light.

The facilities were poor quality, the shower didnt work properly, the floor was unmaintained.

Stinking right beside homeless an all the illegals in hotels some even staying next door never be back

Location so dangerous

Well situated, local amenities are within 10 minutes walk for anything you may need, bars, cafes, shops, public transport. This accommodation is ideal if you’re not into the hustle and bustle of a busy hotel. You can come and go as you please. I will use the accommodation again very soon. I was on the bottom floor at room 1 which was just perfect to allow me to get in and out the front door and straight to the room door in seconds.

At first the door access was awkward to work around. I received more than 2 different access codes for the front door panel and also the room door access codes. It is a touch pad and only needs a light finger to add any codes. When I couldn’t gain entry I called the number available from the front door and was supported by the person on the phone and gained entry by remote access. You will definitely hear traffic from the Street and there were doors banging at all hours which is to be expected as people can come and go whenever they please. There is a large African / Asian community in the area and this was evident with groups of males congregating on certain corners along University Street. This is outside the property and doesn’t affect the accommodation itself. I never used the communal areas inside the property so I can’t comment on what was available.

I liked that is was so close to where we were wanting to visit

The stairs were crazy and we were staying right at the top of the building it nearly killed is to climb them. Apart from that it was a great place to stay

Location is good, not much else!

Bed uncomfortable, room was not clean, lack of soap/shower gel. No plug sockets in useful locations, had to put the kettle on the floor to make a coffee in the morning. Shower difficult to operate without soaking the floor, lot of hairs around the room and floor was a bit sticky, white socks were brown after one step on it.

Very handy location. Great Cuban restaurant and Chinese closeby. Room very clean.

Blind wouldn't open so it was a bit like being in 'Room'

I loved the room . It was nice big and the bed was comfortable. The view was really nice and the price was also really affordable 👌 😀 😊. Washroom was good neat and clean .
