Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city.

Fabulous, super trendy hotel, less than 10 mins walk from Grand central train station and right across the road from the Ulster Hall. The reception/bar area has a large area with lots of seating available, quirky furnishings and a few games scattered around for entertainment. The smoking area/beer garden is beautiful, well lit up and has the added bonus of outside heaters. Our room was on the 2nd floor. From getting out of the lift, you are hit by the pleasant smell of new carpets. The room was massive with a large queen size bed and a large single bed , both with spotlessly clean and luxurious linen. The bathroom was very beautiful. We were given a complimentary welcome gin cocktail(nice touch). Breakfast was self service and had cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, a small but efficient fry option(bacon, sausage, beans, has brown and scrambled egg), tea, coffee and juice. The young staff were fantastic and extremely pleasant. We had an amazing stay. I will definitely be back.

We did get a toastie and a chicken goujon burger as a little bar snack which were both tasty but unfortunately the fries that accompanied them were very undercooked and cold.

Great hotel in the centre of Belfast.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and the hotel is so central. The bed was very comfy and we had a great sleep. Check out not till 12 midday so we weren't in any rush to leave. Exceptional value for money.

No negatives. Wish we had stayed longer than one night!

Cosy vibes and friendly, helpful staff.

The moxy had a lovely cosy vibe upon entrance. Friendly, helpful staff, cleans room- couldn’t fault it.

We ordered food, which was the only criticism I can make. It was microwaved and air fried. Toastie was nice but the rest of our order was awful. When spoke to staff on this matter, they happily only charged us for what we did eat.

Clean and friendly staff. Had to change rooms because of a tv issue then they closed the bar to maintenance without stay

It was very clean and the majority of staff were pleasant and friendly.

The bar closes at 10pm for maintenance and we were refused anything from the bar. We were not told before hand about any maintenance happening. On arrival we were told bar would be open to late and there would be a night porter on.

Very easy to get to. Lovely decor (especially the additional touches for my girlfriend’s 21st). Amazing idea with the water stations on every floor. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The heating in the room was really helpful during the cold nights. Very peaceful stay. Rooms practically soundproof.

£50 amenity charge came out of nowhere. A heads up would have been appreciated.

Its a new hotel but actually its an old hotel that was turned into a Moxy. I think the rooms (and bathrooms) show some signs of that but nothing that was too bad. But just note its not a new new hotel!

Brand new hotel in Center City Belfast. Easy to walk to any attraction in the city. Staff was 12/10!! Always available to answer questions, provide suggestions on events tourist might not know about like 1st Thursday art pop up, to where to watch American Football, to late night bar chats.

No iron in the room, instead each floor has an Ironing Room, Ive never seen or experienced this before. For a great hotel, with a great staff, this seemed like a wild anomaly from other hotels not only in the Marriott family, but in the 4 Star and up category.

Very disappointing...

The location and size of the room.

The reception staff was absolutely unprofessional!! I've paid £152 for one night stay via Booking.com on 3rd of October. First negative impression was that lady on reception asked me to pay a £50 "security deposit" that would be released later, although there is no information about this "policy" either on booking.com or on the hotel website. When I returned home and checked my bank account I found that Moxy charged me an extra £102, so they took a full payment of £152 that I've already paid via Booking.com!!! I've called hotel reception and first they told me to contact booking, then told that they charged me by mistake and will refund it. I've asked for an email confirmation but never received it. I'll have to contact them again. Too much mess and too much stress for a guest! Will never stay there again!!

Great stay. Moxy went above and beyond for us!

New and modern. Great service and friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us! Lovely food too. Early checking in as one of the rooms were ready. Decorated the room for a special birthday without us even asking to!
