We felt welcome and privileged from the moment we stepped into this fantastic hotel. The staff were all friendly, helpful and discretely attentive. We met the owner, Melanie, who is one of those people who has a joyful appreciation of culture and art and delight. The fur coats on the way into the bar tell you this is not a stuffy hotel - it’s Narnia! So, our chamber was roomy and eclectic and atmospheric. The breakfast was great, with very tasty homemade treats. On Saturday night the bar was lively and fun, but there was still space for some privacy and a game of cards. Next time i’ll bring everyone i know!

Very central hotel, close to public transport but also within walking distance of the main city centre. We were upgraded upon arrival. This hotel just has to be visited, it’s fabulous! Our room was just perfect! Beautifully decorated and quite quirky. Some nice little touches, like coasters with local sayings printed on them and tiny milk bottles of milk. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Jungle themed soft furnishings and wallpaper which made us smile! Our en suite was warm and so pretty with the most gorgeous ceramic sink and brass tap.
Nothing! Everything was great.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful part of Belfast, a few minutes walk from Queen's university. Hotel is super cute, and our room was lovely. We booked it very last minute and were very happy with it. Had free parking too which was ideal.
The only slightly negative thing was we got back 15 mins before the bar closed for a cocktail, and they were no longer serving them (just beer/wine) so that was a little disappointing as we left town early to have a nightcap cocktail in the hotel. We wish we had been told that when asking about bar opening times earlier in the day.

From the warm staff to the cozy well-appointed room to the small inclusions like tea and crisps, everything to make the stay comfortable is thought of. The location is excellent and the bar brings guests together to make it feel like staying in someone’s inviting home!
Love everything!

Selection on the bar was really inviting, went for french toast, could have eaten a little more like two slices. I stayed in the Murray room and the record player was such a novelty. lovely warm room, plenty of soft towels, and nice to see an Irish toiletry brand being used.
that i couldn't stay another night !

The Harrison Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a difference, standing out from other hotels in the city. Location is great for all our needs during our stay. We were given the ground floor suite during our two day stay which was stunning with great decor and luxury furniture. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Christine couldn’t do enough for us. She was so friendly and helpful. From check in to check out Christine was there for us making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She is a great asset to the hotel. We will be back again and hope to see Christine and her colleagues again.

Fabulous decor throughout, friendly staff, lovely breakfast
Nothing I didn't like but an enhanced bar food menu would be a fantastic addition to the existing limited, but tasty menu.

Interesting Bohemian decor. Excellent location. Staff helpful and friendly.
Unusual to have no TV in bedroom. Fabric of the building crumbling around the edges.

The location is good. The rooms are attractive.
The Harrison Chambers of Pretension can’t decide if it wants to be hip and quirky or distinguished and elegant; and, attempting both, it achieves neither. Genuinely beautiful antiques mingle with thrift-store tat. You’ll have a four-poster bed, but there will be dust and rubbish from previous guests beneath. The staff are young, polite, but all recently hired – while the craic is appreciated, a bit of institutional professionalism would not go amiss.
Safety hazards abound, from the lightless alley of gravel and mud that serves as a parking lot, to the numerous tripping hazards, to the entry ramp which becomes slick as ice in any sort of damp – not an issue in Dubai, but a bit of a problem in Belfast. The rooms are charmingly named rather than numbered, leading other guests to believe they are attractions rather than rented rooms. Strangers attempted to enter our room for a looksee half a dozen times.
I’ve stayed in nearly a hundred hotels on five continents. Some were enchanting and others absolutely dire. Harrison wasn’t the worst or the best of the lot, but it was singularly the most overpriced for what it delivered. I would prefer a cheap honest dive to this confused conglomeration of Instagram snapshots.

Great location near Queens. About 15/20min walk to centre. Room was clean and comfortable. No television!
Staff very friendly and hotel quirky. Breakfast always lovely but my husband would probably have preferred a more traditional one than what was on offer (fry up etc). Free parking which was great. Overall an enjoyable stay.

This was an incredible experience at the Harrison. Beautiful rooms, like some kind of Sherlock Holmes steampunk fever dream. Incredibly thoughtfully decorated hotel, with intentional efforts to use local NI suppliers for everything possible. The staff were kind and helpful and upgraded me when I requested a particular room (the rooms are all named after specific people and I got Van Morrison). I blinked when I saw there was no TV's in the room, but to be honest, it was the best thing for me, I needed the peace and quiet. Everything from the little glass bottles of milk to the antique furniture to the fully comprehensive hotel book describing everything I'd need during my stay to the velvet armchair I could sit and relax in was just amazing. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to Charlize who was kind and thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with. I'll be back again :)

Not a 4 star property. No tv in room, no air con so hot to sleep. Lots of road traffic noise
Their promo photos certainly give a false impression of the quality of everything basically

The hotel itself is very quirky and stunning,
Advise not to stay in the valentine suite as it is above the events room.while booking the hotel stay or upon arrival we were not made aware that there is going to be event taking place. (Sat night)Sat morning We had made a cup of coffee in the room and headed out for the day.We were out all day and after dinner we arrived back to the hotel expecting to have a quite evening as we had an early start the next day.they had made the bed but left our dirty coffee cups on the table which meant we couldn't make a fresh coffee the next morning.we were tired and ready for bed,but As the evening progressed eventually downstairs eventually moved on from dinner to a Dj,music was so loud that if you turn your phone up to the loudest the music would overpower it . As there is no TV in the room,we tried our best to try and sleep but couldn't so we made noise complaint to the staff and all we were told was that they already asked the DJ to turn down the music as there was other complaints. We didnt get to sleep until after 2 am that's with clocks going back and hour. with having a 6 am start to our journey home.in the morning hotel was dirty,as you would expect after a party, yet we stayed in a presidential suite expecting to have a magical weekend. and on check out they wouldn't enquire about or stay because they already knew that we were not happy. No appolagies the hotel is stunning, but you don't get what you'd expect for the price you pay .. also we had a drink each on Friday night, before bed, paid at the bar to find out that they had charged me for those after check out strongly advise against staying in this hotel .

Melanie (the owner) and the staff were fabulous - nothing was too much trouble and they made our anniversary really special. We loved the live music every night, the friendly atmosphere in the bar, and the quirky decor. Breakfasts were delicious and the bed (a 4-poster!) was really comfortable.

A beautiful hotel the decor is just wonderful so much effort has been put into the property. The bar is magical at night with lit candles. My room was quiet with a lovely balcony and great bathroom with a stunning washbasin.Individuality in every well thought out piece in the room.Supper was lovely and the service friendly.Breakfast was substantial with excellent choice of items and pots of coffee. The owner was very helpful as I had an early morning appointment I could not miss. She kindly arranged for a friend of hers to take me to it nearby when a taxi did not arrive in time.If you do have an early morning appointment appointment make sure to arrange a taxi well in time.

The bed was actually pretty comfortable and the sheets were crisp. Best part about the stay imo
Was a maze. Think it was two townhouses combined into one and you would have to go up one side and down another. There’s so many stairs, so many doors. They did have accessible lifts so that was good. I did cut my finger on their room lock while sliding it open because it was stiff. Would be great if they updated their locks at some point. Car park was also at the back without way to enter the hotel from the back. I had to walk while carrying my luggage because over the gravel.
