Lovely quirky hotel and friendly staff
Great location near Queens. About 15/20min walk to centre. Room was clean and comfortable. No television!
Staff very friendly and hotel quirky. Breakfast always lovely but my husband would probably have preferred a more traditional one than what was on offer (fry up etc). Free parking which was great. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful hotel, rested and recharged and inspired.
This was an incredible experience at the Harrison. Beautiful rooms, like some kind of Sherlock Holmes steampunk fever dream. Incredibly thoughtfully decorated hotel, with intentional efforts to use local NI suppliers for everything possible. The staff were kind and helpful and upgraded me when I requested a particular room (the rooms are all named after specific people and I got Van Morrison). I blinked when I saw there was no TV's in the room, but to be honest, it was the best thing for me, I needed the peace and quiet. Everything from the little glass bottles of milk to the antique furniture to the fully comprehensive hotel book describing everything I'd need during my stay to the velvet armchair I could sit and relax in was just amazing. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to Charlize who was kind and thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with. I'll be back again :)

Not as expected, disappointed
Staff were very good
Not a 4 star property. No tv in room, no air con so hot to sleep. Lots of road traffic noise
Their promo photos certainly give a false impression of the quality of everything basically

Unprofessional
The hotel itself is very quirky and stunning,
Advise not to stay in the valentine suite as it is above the events room.while booking the hotel stay or upon arrival we were not made aware that there is going to be event taking place. (Sat night)Sat morning We had made a cup of coffee in the room and headed out for the day.We were out all day and after dinner we arrived back to the hotel expecting to have a quite evening as we had an early start the next day.they had made the bed but left our dirty coffee cups on the table which meant we couldn't make a fresh coffee the next morning.we were tired and ready for bed,but As the evening progressed eventually downstairs eventually moved on from dinner to a Dj,music was so loud that if you turn your phone up to the loudest the music would overpower it . As there is no TV in the room,we tried our best to try and sleep but couldn't so we made noise complaint to the staff and all we were told was that they already asked the DJ to turn down the music as there was other complaints. We didnt get to sleep until after 2 am that's with clocks going back and hour. with having a 6 am start to our journey home.in the morning hotel was dirty,as you would expect after a party, yet we stayed in a presidential suite expecting to have a magical weekend. and on check out they wouldn't enquire about or stay because they already knew that we were not happy. No appolagies the hotel is stunning, but you don't get what you'd expect for the price you pay .. also we had a drink each on Friday night, before bed, paid at the bar to find out that they had charged me for those after check out strongly advise against staying in this hotel .

Fab hotel in a great city
Melanie (the owner) and the staff were fabulous - nothing was too much trouble and they made our anniversary really special. We loved the live music every night, the friendly atmosphere in the bar, and the quirky decor. Breakfasts were delicious and the bed (a 4-poster!) was really comfortable.

Lovely stay wish I could have stayed longer!
A beautiful hotel the decor is just wonderful so much effort has been put into the property. The bar is magical at night with lit candles. My room was quiet with a lovely balcony and great bathroom with a stunning washbasin.Individuality in every well thought out piece in the room.Supper was lovely and the service friendly.Breakfast was substantial with excellent choice of items and pots of coffee. The owner was very helpful as I had an early morning appointment I could not miss. She kindly arranged for a friend of hers to take me to it nearby when a taxi did not arrive in time.If you do have an early morning appointment appointment make sure to arrange a taxi well in time.

Harrison Chambers of Distinction is perfectly named.
The property was unique and in a wonderful location. Also, the bartender/ front desk guy, was extremely helpful. We enjoyed talking to him in the bar.
The rooms were a little small.

Not really my taste
The bed was actually pretty comfortable and the sheets were crisp. Best part about the stay imo
Was a maze. Think it was two townhouses combined into one and you would have to go up one side and down another. There’s so many stairs, so many doors. They did have accessible lifts so that was good. I did cut my finger on their room lock while sliding it open because it was stiff. Would be great if they updated their locks at some point. Car park was also at the back without way to enter the hotel from the back. I had to walk while carrying my luggage because over the gravel.

We loved the decor. Themed rooms added to the charm of the hotel. The staff were cheerful, chatty and helpful. Nightly events. Great greeting on arrival - it was as if they were waiting for you!

Wonderful Irish Hospitality
Lovely property and wonderful staff - could not do enough from taking care of luggage to serving food late in the evening. It’s a short walk downtown to the city centre. They don’t charge for parking - even though it was Open week and seemed like everyone was trying to charge double for everything - says it all . Highly recommend.

A stunning hotel with equally stunning service
The welcome from every staff member and particularly the owner Melanie was 1st class. The property oozes charm and class and I love the decor. Each room inspired by a famous Irish person. Entertainment in the evening a fantastic breakfast. I will definitely be going back!!

Nothing of concern

Unique
Mere words aren't going to accurately or adequately describe staying at the Harrison Chambers of Distinction. The love and care that must have gone into individually creating each room is phenomenal.
The ambience is friendly rather than formal, so don't expect a concierge in a top hat (Melanie, this is not a challenge!). However, nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff.
The breakfast is great. The Harrison breakfast roll is a must.
Leaving.
I'd happily live there.

One of a kind!
What a fantastic place, beautifully restored with attention to detail, comfortable but with a deep sense of the old days combined with some cool punk energy. Staying there was actually one of our favourite experiences in Belfast. Our suite was stunning, with a beautiful bathroom and old furniture and we loved the idea of people-themed rooms. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff really kind (young girl who checked us in was absolutely lovely!). The neighbourhood is very cool, close to beautiful Botanic gardens. There is a bus stop nearby but you can reach the city centre by foot quickly too. We really liked the Grand Budapest Hotel accent in the lobby and we found lots of great recommendations that we used (ex. No Alibis bookshop or The Muddlers Club restaurant, stunning by the way).
As this is the old building, you can hear your neighbours and during both nights of our stay there were some loud parties going on. It's not hotel's fault, but just an info for people who travel there. We used earplugs and it was pretty ok.

Sold as shabby chic but still needs work on the chic.
the staff were very helpful
It was sold as shabby chic but failed to be chic, the areas outside of the rooms were good although a little tired but the rooms were tired and the furniture although it was beautiful it was not in good repair. We moved from the apartment as it was not good, the next room was better but still for the money we paid it did not come up to our expectations. Also the breakfast roll actually was a sausage roll!, the rest of the breakfast though was good.

James from Donegal.
The decor was amazing very classy and in keeping with the property nice paintings and quality elegant furniture / ornaments.
Each room has been given a title such as the Dunlop suit where stayed in honour of John Boyd who invented the Dunlop Tires other room where named after poets etc.
The rooms are very quiet and the place is perfect for people wanting a relaxing break and a peaceful nights sleep.

Great hotel that will make the hotel part of the trip rather than just somewhere to sleep
Met by the owner who is clearly dedicated to making the hotel as good as possible with loads of character. Unlike many hotels, the bar actually had some atmosphere, which was nice, and going through Narnia to reach it (as part of the hotel's theme of great books) was a great touch. Breakfast was also different to the usual fare in hotels, healthier and better for it, with a mix of a buffet or things you could order like eggs.
I was travelling for business so I really liked that I had a small room at the top with a double door. I slept well.
Booking the rooms was a little confusing as it's not clear what rooms have what features.
