Overall great stay would definitely recommend

Great location with bus stop just across the road to the old town. Marina is lovely to look out onto and very close to lots of nice restaurants and bars. Room was perfect size and the pool area just outside the gates was great. The little courtyard was lovely to sit at in the morning and at night. Sanja the host and her husband were lovely very welcoming, friendly and attentive.

Not much to dislike just right for everything needed for a city break great location, great room, great pool area. Breakfast can be had at the local restaurant but only between 8am and 9am which is very short but we wasn’t too bothered about this.

Couldn’t fault a thing

I loved everything about my stay, from the warm welcome to the beautiful building that even smelled amazing. The room was spacious, with plenty of tea, coffee, and even chocolates, plus chilled water in the fridge. The shower was stunning, with the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used, and the soft, fluffy towels were a delight. The bed was so comfortable, and the view over the marina was absolutely gorgeous.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Brilliant week

Imaculately clean, cleaned everyday. The host is so friendly and helpful, cannot do enough for you. Ideally placed to explore all parts of Dubrovnik. Lots of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. I cannot recommend thus highly enough.

Lots of hills and stairs when out and about in dubrovnik, so be aware.

The view was fantastic from the room. The room itself was nicely decorated and comfortable and pleanty big enough for two guests.

I would have liked if the fridge was a little bigger.As there were no facilities to eat in the room,it meant eating out for breakfast,lunch and dinner making it expensive.With a bigger fridge it woulld have allowed to buy a few items in the supermarket.

Get away from the crowds in Lapad

Small place (4-6 rooms?) with very attentive owners. Fabulous private swimming pool in the back. Beds made and clean up every day. Good spot for exploring Lapad and it is on the #6 bus line for 15-20 minute access to old town. Overall more private and comfortable than a hotel

Room was a bit small - bed, bathroom and closet were fine but one chair at a small desk a bit cramped for eating breakfast, writing or looking at maps.

Perfect location beautiful apartments excellent value

Perfect location, the apartments look right onto the harbour. Beautiful view from our room. Lots of bars and resteraunts next to the apartment and only a 6 euro uber ride into the old town. Decor in the room was lovely rooms were very clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would stay again and highly recommend. Lovely pool area although we didnt use it.

Lovely modern quiet room with excellent hosts

The Bova Rooms were a lovely place to stay and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They had some great recommendations on where to eat, swim and other local facilities. The room was modern, stylish, comfortable, quiet and of a good size. It had aircon, free wifi, fridge, safe and (an added bonus my wife said) lots of hangers in the wardrobe. The room had a view of the harbour and new Marina (which looks like it will be very flash when it's complete). We sat in the little entrance courtyard in the evening sun with a glass of vino before going out each evening. We loved the location as it had easy access to the old town (15-20 minutes by bus or Uber) but was away from the crowds. Also within easy walk were some excellent beaches/coves and restaurants (our favourites were Orsan Yacht Club, Pantarul and for a quick bite, the Green Burger Bar). If you wanted a more busy big resort holiday vibe then a 5-10 minute walk to Sunset Beach (Lapad) and all the hotels and bars there provided that.

There wasn't anything to dislike apart from having to say goodbye and leave Dubrovnik.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Bova. The room is a great size, location is perfect - in a lovely area called Lapad, and it's very clean throughout. Sanja was a joy to communicate with and very helpful.

Lovely little hotel in a nice suburb of Dubrovnik - would recommend!

The host was lovely and so accommodating to our room request and early check in! The view of the port was lovely especially with our room being on the top floor. The pool is quiet and peaceful - always enough sun beds free. The rooms were modern, big, bright, airy and clean. The hotel is in a good location - close enough to be able to explore the old town on foot or by a bus ride but also with the peace and quiet of being that bit further out. Shops close by - around a 5 minute walk and the Lapad beach area about a 10 minute walk with lots of bars and restaurants if you don’t fancy going into the old town each night.

Only downside was there was construction going on in the port during our stay which was a bit of an eyesore and slightly inconvenient with the noise but we were either at the pool or out at a beach during the day so didn’t bother us too much!

Lovely room but no facilities, and nearby hotels less expensive with facilities.

Room was clean, toiletries provided although not replenished. Beach towels available although we had to ask for them.

Reception manned only a short time in the morning so we had to leave a note to make any contact as text messages were not received. I think beach towels should be in the room not just available when you ask. Some reviews mentioned a pool but we were not told of access to any. Friends were staying in the Royal Resort in Lapad, and we found they had paid less for a room with breakfast included and fantastic facilities on site. We had to go to the nearby Hotel Lapad for breakfast which was payable so our room was not great value for money compared to theirs or the nearby Hotel Lapad which was also cheaper.

Superb

Cleanliness. Given some good local info on arrival regarding bus, restaurants, wine bar which was all very useful. Location. There is a beautiful coastal walk which starts almost outside the door.

Peaceful

Nice and convenient location, we had restaurants few steps away, Supermarket 5 minutes away, the port 10 minutes away - all walking distance. Walked all around the area, lovely beaches available and lovely strip full of restaurants. Apartment was clean, the staff were friendly. Used the pool a few times
