I will definitely return!

I recently stayed at this hotel and staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was various and delicious (even gluten free meals!). The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The bed was cozy. Everything was spotless! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

The jacuzzi was not working :(

Okay hotel, not worth it without the outdoor pool

Only booked the hotel for use of the outdoor pool but it was already shut for the year and would have been useful for that to have been advertised (booking.com had the outdoor pool as open until 8pm every day).

Beautiful hotel in an ideal location.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

1) Central Heating is turned on at night which made it extremely hot and unbearable. We did not sleep well both nights due to the heat. 2) No milk in the room, yet 2 packets of tea and coffee and sugar are kept.Why ?? How can we have tea or coffee without Milk. Please add milk to the rooms so that we can have tea/ coffee.

The hotel did its part very well; Dubrovnik as a place to stay offers challenges.

Situated high on the hill, with fine views of port area, the hotel caters efficiently for large parties of guests in comfortable rooms. The staff are admirably on top of their job, and helpful with any practical matter. The breakfasts are admirably comprehensive, and a basic dinner menu is available each night.

The location of the hotel creates difficulties for isolated travellers, who must either walk to the port (400 steep steps) or to the old town (estimated 50 minutes) or take the local bus, which is crowded and none too frequent.

Just what we needed

We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a tranquil escape near Dubrovnik. Its convenient location offers easy access to the city, but it's far enough removed to provide a peaceful atmosphere, especially at night. The breathtaking views from the balcony were a highlight; I enjoyed peaceful journaling sessions while soaking in the scenery. Breakfast was delicious, with some tables offering equally stunning views. The infinity pool was everything we hoped for, delivering unforgettable panoramic vistas. We were also impressed with the hotel's accommodating service, allowing us to store our luggage and use the facilities until our departure. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a truly memorable and relaxing stay

The room, while comfortable, was undeniably small. Sharing it with a friend, especially one as tall as 6 feet, made it feel a little cramped. The twin beds, while adequate, were placed quite close together. The shower was also on the smaller side, which might pose a challenge for larger individuals. However, it's worth noting that space constraints can be common in European hotels, particularly in historic cities. Ultimately, these were minor drawbacks, and the many positives of the hotel – the location, views, and service – more than compensated for the limited room size. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Good hotel, terrible staff bringing the entire reputation down.

The room and the facilities were lovely.

The staff took advantage of us. They lied constantly about availability for a late checkout on the basis of availability, were unsympathetic when give medical grounds but were happy to charge for a spare room and “do a deal” because the room would likely get booked. This is coming from the manager meanwhile his staff and laughing, giggling and unfortunately talking about me in Montenegrin thinking I wouldn’t understand or be able to record and playback the conversation.

Very nice hotel, highly recommend

View was amazing from the balcony and the most spectacular view was from the breakfast place. Bus stop was right outside the hotel, so was convenient for getting to the city in 10 min, however on the way back it was longer to return

The hot tub in the pool area was ice cold. They had it on and running with bubbles and wasting the electricity, yet no one was using it as it was colder then the pool water. I did mentioned to the reception that it needs to be warm in order for people to use it, otherwise they should not run the hot tub.

Views, facilities and great value for money

I have to say that we were so impressed with this hotel, located right at the top of Dubrovnik’s hilly landscape, with breathtaking views of the town, lakes and backdrops - during the day and evening. This is great value for money, within a city that has high charges for a hotel, with a breakfast buffet, breakfast dinner (located at the top of the hotel with nice views), indoor pool, jacuzzi, outdoor pool and bar (which also serves food), ironing room, bar and attentive reception service. We even managed to get our room cleaned at 7pm which was such a plus as we forgot to leave the sign outside. We want to thank the hotel for making our stay so special and will be visiting again!

It was mostly great but perhaps ensuring there is an iron in every room and the ability to cast from smart devices to TV

Very clean hotel Breakfast is excellent, and the view from the breakfast is great. The pool area is nice and clean, access to free towels by the pool. And free parking is bonus

Its location is very high, so if you plan to walk, you are up for some exercise. Even if supermarkets are 1500 meter its down hill you need to go back as well.

Excellent property and staff. Will stay there again

This hotel was excellent. The people the rooms, the facilities the breakfast buffet. Everything was great. We didn’t even have to use our car cause we could Uber or take a cab to go to the center of town the room we have had a beautiful view.

There was only one elevator for the whole property that guests could use so you either have to go on the stairs or you have to wait a bit for it.

Rooms very noisy at night from other guests, but we have found this to be the same at different hotels within Croatia, they need better sound proofing. It’s all up hill so walking back to the hotel is either a full workout or you pay a small fee for a taxi.

Beautiful view, great location, excellent value.

Breakfast was great and hotel had an excellent view of the bay. Room was clean and beautiful, staff were friendly and could communicate well in English. Free parking on the property was a bonus. Old Town was a short 10 mins away by Uber and costs about €5-8. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

There was only 1 lift which took a few rounds of waiting when transporting luggage around breakfast time.

Breathtaking view, great value hotel!

1. The view is just amazing. From the restaurant, the bar, the pool, the room, anywhere there is a great view. 2. Beds are very comfortable (mattress is firm, which I love) 3. Staff is helpful and friendly 4. Restaurant and bar offer relatively good prices (everything else in Dubrovnik is sooo overpriced for average quality) 5. We saw the sunset right at the bar. Loved it. 6. Easily accessible by bus No. 3 to Old Town

An excellent and romantic stay

The location is fantastic! We enjoyed an awesome view from our room; the cafeteria and the restaurant overlook the sea and the town as well.

A more comfortable path from the hotel to the old city is needed as the stairs are not for all types of people.

It was a bit far from Old town. Need Uber to get to town and back. Local bus stop location was a convenience, although a 5-7 minute walk, with narrow or no sidewalk. If you take taxi or Uber it’s not an issue. Uber ride into old town was around 7 Euros.

Lovely outdoor and indoor pool areas. Room was a decent size and beds comfortable.

Only stay if you like stairs… The hotel is on top of a hill, so it has a nice view, but to get to/from the shops and restaurants you need to walk down/up the steep stairs, and there are a lot of them… Or take an Uber like we did as it was very hot.
