Perfect Stay — Spacious Room, Sea View & Easy Access

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Marjio! The host was very friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early which made our trip much easier. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning — we could see the sea right from our room. There’s also a bus stop conveniently located near the house, making it easy to get around. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay!

We had an amazing view! The apartment was spotless and the host and family very friendly/helpful. I would be happy to return.

Not a problem but be aware. We walked to the ferry area—all downhill so no problem but steep. We chose an Uber to return.

Such lovely hosts Mario and his mum welcome us with open arms . It felt like a dream. Beautiful surroundings and a peaceful vibe allowed me and my family to fully relax. I slept better than I have in months.Views are amazing . I will certainly return durning my next visit .

Big terrace with beautiful view of the bay. Sparkling clean.

I love the view from the terrace. More than enough towels and linens that smelt soo clean and even ironed. Reminded me of my grandma's starched and flat-ironed sheets. Kitchen is large and well-equipped. Maria graciously allowed us to check in early which we truly appreciated.

One of the room assigned to us has no aircon. Since the other room is very large and has a king size bed, 3 of us slept on the bed and 1 on the sofa which is also big enough. So problem solved.

Super comfy room with amazing view of Dubrovnik

The staff were super sweet and helpful, beautiful views from the outside area, and close to a bus stop! The room was comfortable and good value for money.

Sometimes it was a bit difficult getting to places, had to get a bus as not much is in walking distance, was well worth the views though and the bus was pretty easy to navigate.

Stunning view of Dubrovnik but not 100% a private flat

The flat is well-equipped and offers stunning views of Dubrovnik. We loved the spacious terrace. The personal was kind and friendly although not fluent in English. The private parking is a great plus since this is expensive in Dubrovnik.

We thought we have booked a private appartment as per the descriptions. However, you share it with other guests although everybody has independant access to their rooms. We still had a private bathroom but you may cross your neighbors when using it.

The terrace is by far the best experience

The host is very friendly; the kitchen is more than adequately equipped, you also have more than enough bed linen and towels. Everything is clean and tidy. The terrace bought me, that's why I booked the accommodation. You can take the bus to the Old Town, the stop is very close. To get to the promenade you have to go down the hill by numerous stairs.

We didn't like that the bathroom wasn't located in the apartment but in the hallway. But we accepted it all because of the beautiful terrace view :)

It was the cleanest house that I stayed at booking so far. The whole house is really clean. Also, everybody was really friendly and gave me really nice tips about what to do in the city and also we have really nice conversation. I recommend and I was glad with the hospitality and would definitely get back again. Also, for the city center there is a bus line close to the house

The staff and the owner cannot really speak English, which made us so tired of communicating with them. They can only speak simple English which is not enough to communicate. They are not nice at all. They don’t let us use the toilet before checking in. They don’t allow us to stay in the garden just to rest and wait for the bus.

The room is very beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable and the view was soooo pretty. The family running the rooms are also very nice and friendly.

Maria is really lovely. It is possible to use the kitchen which is really nice. The surrounding is really calm. There is a really nice view.

The insulation isn't great as I could hear the workers on the upper floor and you can hear all the water noises through the bathroom pipes

The owners are unbelievably nice and welcoming. The apartment is located off the business of the old town, which I loved and preferred. You can take the bus no 3 to the old town. The bus station is 3 min away. I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend everyone to stay here if you wanna get away from the busy old town. + you’ll get rewarded with a beautiful view over Dubrovnik.

The views were amazing, Mario and his mum Maria were lovely, nothing too much trouble. The kitchen is available for use which was a bonus for us. They gave us some grapes which were delicious. Number 3 bus is approx 100 mts away to take you to the port or Pile Gate. We walked a couple of times and it was hard work as extremely steep and lots of steps, but that was our choice. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Superb

There's a bus No.3 or 3A to get there directly from the old city (pile gate) it takes about 15 mins. If you take the bus No.3A then you need to walk a bit (including a small hill) so I suggest you to take No.3 when you have a big laggage. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Clean room, comfortable bed, a space for BBQ with a nice view.

The outside of the room was quite noisy (people were partying or talking with loud music till around 23:00) while we're staying. It's going to be highly recommended if you don't mind, but if you would like to sleep quietly then better to find the other place.

Goed bed. Schoon. Gratis parkeren en je kunt met de bus makkelijk naar de stad. Goede uitleg hiervan van de gastvrouw. Goede wifi.

Het was heel erg warm binnen. Geen fijne kussens. Geen verduisterende gordijnen. Geen haakjes om dingen op te hangen. Badkamer was eigen, maar apart van de kamer. Douchen in bad. Geen (werkende) afzuiging of raam in badkamer.

WC-Spülung klemmt (ich musste auf die Badewanne klettern, um den Taster zu bedienen) Zimmerschlüssel greift manchmal nicht Kühlschrank sehr klein Warum es keine höhere Bewertung gab, jedoch ein Punkt: Das Leintuch hatte einen Fleck - nicht besonders groß, nicht besonders intensiv gefärbt, aber so etwas mag ich gar nicht. Kann einfach beim Waschen nicht ganz rausgegangen sein, aber ich möchte mir über sowas keine Gedanken machen - da nützen die ganzen restlichen Pluspunkte nichts. Wir legten ein Badetuch drüber und ließen es dabei bleiben, waren nur eine Nacht dort.
