The air conditioner is located upstairs, so downstairs room gets very warm and it takes a long time to cool down. The air conditioner from the room next to ours was also right against our wall (bed room) and made a lot of noise during the night (since they kept it on), which made it very difficult to fall asleep. There’s also no proper ventilation in the building, so it always smells damp and humid.

Towels and sheets are really old and smell like mold. Honestly we felt disgusted that we had to sleep and clean our bodies with those towels. Barely no sun light. Water was hard to calibrate, either too hot or to cold. There were dirty things around.

I had a great experience overall! The apartment was spacious, clean, and the bed was large and comfortable enough for two people. It’s located in a nice area that felt tolerant, welcoming and relaxed. The only minus was that the key hadn’t been left at the hotel as expected, so I had to wait for someone to arrive. However, the person who came to let me in was incredibly open-minded and non-judgemental, which made me feel instantly welcome. That small interaction actually gave me the impression that the neighborhood itself is liberal, tolerant, and accepting – a really nice surprise. Would definitely stay again, just with clearer check-in instructions next time.

It is situated close by to the port and about a ten minute bus ride away to the centre. There are bakeries, supermarkets, bars and a few good restaurants around the area in Gruz. It is equipped with good air conditioning & also a fridge.

The standard of cleaning needs to be much better for the price we paid. There was hair all over the apartment. It was definitely not hoovered properly. The shower was blocked and when we complained they did fix it.

Rooms Baza - Dubrovnik Stayed at Rooms Baza Dubrovnik The location - It's location just opposite the Dubrovnik main bus station made it convenient to get to the airport by shuttle bus and to get in and out of town by bus. It was also relative near to the bus stop to take the bus to town (5 min walk away). However, there was not a lot of food options (eateries) around the area. There was a large supermarket (Konzum) nearby though. The Service - The front desk staff was a friendly and helpful elderly gentleman who worked at irregular hours. He came in at 3pm on the day of my arrival. The next day he came in the morning. On the day I arrived, my bus was supposed to arrive at 1230, but it got delayed until 2.00pm, so in the end the wait for the place to be opened for check-in was not too long. But for those who arrive at odd hours, there is no possibility of luggage deposit (since the place was not manned) The room was a duplex with a bathroom at the entrance below and the bedroom above, with a staircase linking both area. The bedroom has a rather low headroom, due to a slopping roof, which resulted in a few accidental head bumps. The bedroom has a single bed which was reasonably comfortable, although it has no blanket, only a thin comforter(thank God it's summer). The location of the entrance at the lower floor made it a bit cumbersome to haul the luggage up and down the staircase. The Aircon worked but need a long time to cool all the spaces in the duplex. The water heater was working okay. It has a small fridge which was working well. The TV hanging on the wall was working and easy to use. Room deco is simple, functional and seem to have most things working well. Lighting was adequate.

The bedroom has a single bed which was reasonably comfortable, although it has no blanket, only a thin comforter (thank God it's summer). The location of the entrance at the lower floor made it a bit cumbersome to haul the luggage up and down the staircase. The location of the bathroom make it inconvenient to get to the bathroom (must remember to bring all your necessary clothing along).

Absolutely rude and not professional reception, not possible to store luggage to the afternoon, very small window in the room. Damp and mold in the whole facility. Risky for health.
