Lovely host, great value for money, highly recommend!
From the start, host gave us very clear walking directions from the bus stop you arrive at which were very helpful. Keys were in the door and easy to access upon arrival. The room was very clean, and equipped with everything we expected. Host was always available via WhatsApp, and was super speedy with responses and eager to help out wherever possible! We enquired about the dinner menu on the first night, to watch we purchased a pizza salad and fries that they organised to have prepared for 730. Meal was on time and classic home-made quality, good for the price too. Supercheap €10 to have washing washed and dry and folded too, simply left outside our door, they collected and dropped right back when complete. Hi Stephen messaged halfway through the trip to check if we needed any more linen and towels. Overall great host in great value for money. Felt well looked after
Is located at the top of the Hills of Dubrovnik, so just be aware, however bus stop is only a three minute walk away and can take you straight into the old town. No Aircon, but you can see that before you purchase, so more of a note than a complaint. Really great experience overall.

Nice apartment with a lovely host
The room was clean and comfortable with sufficient wardrobe space for us to unpack and feel at home. The view of Gruz bay from the top of the hill was stunning. A short walk to the nearest bus stop into town. The owner was very sweet and kept in touch via Whatsapp. She was always available to answer questions, even when we arrived late in the evening due to our flight being delayed.
Our balcony door opened onto the terrace which serves as the main entrance for this floor, so wasn't entirely private.

No air-con, and a bit of a dump for almost 90 euros a night! Avoid at all costs.
We didn't like very much, to be honest. The host communicated well, and the room was a short drive from the ferry terminal, which suited our needs. There was also free on-site parking.
To be fair, I booked this room in error because I'd never have booked anywhere at this time of year (end of June) without air-con, but for nearly 90 euros a night we assumed it would included. The room was absolutely sweltering, and even with the fan on full power, it was still too hot. It wasn't even a ceiling fan, but one of those upright ones that you can move around. The mattress was far too soft, and the bed had cheap sheets we stuck to when rolling over. There is a jumble of power cables that you need to connect to get anything electrical working. You have to walk across someone else's balcony to enter the room. The place is basically backpacker/student accommodation standard, but at hotel room prices. We've been travelling Europe for almost 3 months now, and this is by far the worse place we've stayed in terms of value for money. Very disappointing.

    Great place with incredible views
I stayed in the guest house for five nights. The room exceeded my expectations, especially for such a reasonable price. It was spacious, with a private kitchen, a large terrace with a beautiful view and a real fireplace! Of course, in the summer a fireplace is not necessary, but it definitely adds to the atmosphere. Self-check-in is very convenient, the instructions are clear and detailed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, perhaps a microwave would not hurt, but the stove is also quite sufficient. The shared bathroom was cleaned several times a day and was also always clean and immediately replenished with toiletries if necessary. The hosts are wonderful, they periodically texted if everything was ok, if there was any need, maybe to change linen or towels, so you feel cared for, but very delicately at the same time. The location is great if you follow the instructions of the owners and get there by city bus, which will take you almost to the house, and not try to walk right away, as I self-confidently did :)) Dubrovnik is located in the mountains and 30 minutes on foot here for an unprepared person may be too much. In the future, I always got home by bus and did not experience any inconvenience. The city has quite convenient and inexpensive public transport, which will take you to any point, and all routes end in the old town. I advise you to install an application with routes and schedules of public transport, as well as buy tickets at points of sale as it's more convenient and will save you money. The location of the house almost at the top gives the opportunity to admire the most beautiful sunsets that I have ever seen, just by going out with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. You do not need to look for a better view to enjoy the sunset, because you have it right at your home. It was a wonderful holiday, and in no small part thanks to this place. I definitely recommend it.

    Superb
The hosts were very nice and gave us an advanced warning that the location is on a hill and steep to get there on foot when we arrive. We ordered Uber and it was only around €6-7. The room was spacious, light and reminded me more of a nice hotel room rather than a guesthouse. It had everything you'd need. A kettle, some tea bags, a hairdryer and even an iron. We had a nice balcony. Even though the view wasn't as magnificent, it was good enough with a cup of morning coffee. We had a change of towels and plenty of help from the hosts. There is a bus that you can take to the center. We relied on Uber as it wasn't expensive. However, we walked down the hill taking stairs to go for morning breakfast. Really happy with our stay.
You have to rely on the bus or spend some money on taxis to get around.

    Superb
The owner was very nice. There was a nice place for parking the car. There was good air in the night coming from the balcony. The location is close to the port at Lapad. Half an hour walking to the old city or by bus no. 3. The price is decent.
    The rooms are basic.

    Very good
It's a good place to stay away from the crowds of Dubrovnik. Although, it is very far from the old town and if you visit this city for a few days, the transportation can get complicated as the taxis and ubers are very expensive and there is only one bus (#3) every hour. Also the flat is on a very steep hill, so there are a lot of stairs to climb every time. Beyond that, the views of the flat are amazing, the place is really quiet and you have all the kitchen utensils to cook easy and cheap meals.
Even though the host wrote us on whatsapp, by the way the message was written, we misunderstood how to get to the house and we ended up paying a very expensive taxi from the bus station (21 eur for a 13 min ride). She didn't make a major emphasis on catching an uber, but she suggested it. It may be helpful to rise awareness on the prices next time. Also, the next day we wanted to try uber to get to the old town but it was also very expensive (~19 eur), so we ended up taking the bus (<2 eur). One last thing is that we understand that the check-out is at 10 am. However, it was 9:50 am and the host came in without knocking the door while we were finishing up packing our bags. For us it's ok but we would have liked the time window to be respected.
