Best spot for a beachy Dubrovnik stay

Hosts were lovely and provided lemonade and sweets on arrival. They also gave us super useful tips. While it's a wee way out of the old town, the bus stop to the old town is less than 3 minutes walk and it only takes 15 mins to get there max. It's also close to beautiful swimming spots, a supermarket and loads of restaurants. Generous sized bed

There's not much to fault here but if you have mobility issues or big luggage just be aware of the 2 floors of stairs to climb

Clean, comfortable, very responsible

Great location in Lapad near the beach and a beautiful cliff walk, very quick (<5 min bus) to old town which runs very regularly. Bedroom was comfortable, quiet, with a nice patio. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating, even gave a small treat of lemonade and sweets on arrival. Shared Bathroom and facilities were great, would stay again!

Affordable and comfortable stay in a central location

If you want affordable, no frills place to stay with a great location - then this is the hotel for you. The owners were incredibly welcoming, met us when we came and let us check in at 9am, brought some cold beverages and a treat, and the facilities also had laundry. Steps from the bus that takes you directly to Old Town Dubrovnik, as well as a short walk to the main promenade and beach. The balcony had a lovely view, air con worked perfectly, the water pressure was excellent in the shower.

There are a few sets of stairs to get up to the rooms, so keep this in mind if you are bringing a large suitcase.

Very solid and uncomfortable mattress, too old and soft pillows, bed frame too loud/squeaky at the smallest movement. Some coffee, milk, etc. in the room would be great addition. One of the 2 wardrobes was locked/not working.

Very clean. Super kind and helpful hosts. Nice comfortable room and balcony. Great bakery across the street, right by the bus to the old town, close to a large nature park. Air conditioning and tea kettle / bowls set up was useful. Parking in front was super helpful. It’s near a busy street, but the room is pretty sound proof. Great view from balcony / garden / clothes drying rack.

Dubrovik is too expensive, so you see that reflected in the price.

The hospitality was great we were made to feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. We were provided with fresh lemonade and homemade sweets when we were arrived. The air conditioning was a nice addition and room had a fridge amd tea and coffee facitilities. It was located right beside a bus stop into old town and a few mins walk from the beach and lovely restaurants and supermarkets. It was excellent and i would definitely stay again

Wonderful host; excellent location, close to the beach and promenade. The room has air-conditioning and a small balcony, kettle and a fridge, all useful for staying a few days. The beach area and walks around the area are wonderful. Easy bus ride to the old town. The apartment has washing machines at extra charge if needed.

Near public transportation and the beach

The host was cool and ready to help.. They offered a cold drink when we arrived in a hot day. The apartment is well situated and near the bus station of line 6 to go to the old Town, and 5 min walk to the beach. The balcony is cute, just do remember to take anti-moustic spray..

It's a pitty that the bed is not very comfortable. It is too soft and makes a lot of noise.

Very Nice and spacious room (even has a small fridge), very welcoming host who gave us all necessary information about Dubrovnik and even kindly came to take us at the bus station to help us out. Lovely beach with cristal-clear waters, circa 10-15min aways on foot, bus station 30meters from the guesthouse that takes you directly to the old town in 15-20min. Very clean (we were lucky enough to have no one else to share the bathroom with, so that might change slightly depending on whom you share the bathroom).

the big bed is actually 2beds put together with a wooden structure separating both beds, but it wasn't a problem for us, and the beds are really comfortable!

Cosy room with a nice private terrace and a large bed. There was shade by trees outside during the whole day. Very relaxing and pleasant. The owners were helpful and nice. The location was great - just a corner away from the center of Lapad and very close to the bus stop for the city centre.

Carpe Diem was perect for us. The location was brilliant. 10-15minute bus journey to the old town. 2 minute walk to a strip of very nice restaurants and very close to sunset beach. There was a kettle and fridge in the room and our hosts were lovely.

Lovely owners and beautiful location!

The proximity to the port was really handy given my boyfriend and I arrived to Dubrovnik by boat. The stand out of the property was the lovely couple that ran it, who happily extended our check in time (by a very long way) to accommodate when our boat got in, and who were attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had! The room was cool (air con!) and had a nice balcony and bathroom, and a very short walk from ‘sunset’ beach and surrounding restaurants. Easy to get into the old town too!

Wasn’t aware of the bathroom being across the corridor before arriving - though this wasn’t a real problem, just a surprise, so no complaints! To nitpick I would say on our last night we could hear the people in the room next door loudly - but this didn’t prove to affect our stay very much so not a huge inconvenience.

Parfait séjour à Dubrovnik!

L'emplacement est juste génial! Le bus juste en bas de la rue vous emmène en ville très rapidement, sinon on peut se balader à pied à la plage et le long des falaises pour se baigner le soir au couché de soleil, c'est idyllique! Les propriétaires sont très gentils, ils nous ont offert de la limonade et des copaux d'oranges confites, un régal! La chambre est très propre, calme avec un petit balcon et la clime marche très bien. Bref tout était parfait!
