Location but over rated

It was unclean , untidy and unkempt. No water in the room, no coffee , no aircon. Over rated

Despite the positives mentioned, our overall stay was not pleasant. In fact, we were disappointed.

The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views. Our room was spotless, and the staff (Karen) was friendly and welcoming.

Below is the list of issues that we have encountered: 1. There was no remote control for the heater/or air conditioner in our room. It had to be borrowed from the room next door by one of the staff members. She switched it on and returned the remote control. As a result, we were forced to sleep with it on because we were unable to switch the heater off at night. 2. The lights weren't all functioning. This made the room somewhat dim. 3. The television wasn't working properly. We are unsure if the problem was with the WI-FI connection or something else. 4. According to the website, clients receive a 10-minute massage. However, upon our arrival, we were told that the massage therapist had already left. The website should make clear the exact times at which the massage is performed. 5. The webpage does not specify that breakfast is served at 8:00 AM. Since we had to leave for work, we asked to eat breakfast at 7:00 AM. However, we were informed that due to the chef's commute to work, breakfast only starts at eight. Once again, your website should clearly state the exact times at which the breakfast is served.

Average and costly stay.

Stunning views on the property and good location. In-house breakfast was wow. Far above the expected. Safe neighbourhood with security nearby vehicles outside. Foreign plugs for appliances provided

Damaged appliances like kettle , dirty underneath bed . Bathroom amenities were depleted when we arrived and wasnt refilled. Warm blanket not installed for icy winters. Lots of stairs around house and no assistance with bags. Outdated room

The place is perfect for a short stay, if you intending to stay over 2 nights, I wouldn’t really recommend.

Breakfast have limited options, VERY limited, if you planning to stay for long, don’t add breakfast to you booking. The bedrooms are very basic and old fashioned. The water pressure is low. Cleaning 4/10. Cockroaches in the bedroom.

I was happy about the place however the room I booked was not comfortable at all- no natural light,

The breakfast and location were perfect. The manager swapped my room, and I felt much calmer and happy. It's a beautiful place but it requires some little bit touch of interior to make the guest feel really relaxed, warm and comfortable.

Disappointing ... but the view saved the day!

The view and breakfast were SPECTACULAR

I made a list of defects in the room that I left with the manager. The room we were assigned in the house was very dated and many of the simplest things did not work (light in the bathroom was a bare bulb, door to the shower couldn't open, curtain rail was broken which meant the curtain couldn't close, door to the bathroom was jammed shut to name a few). Other guests were also very inconsiderate and manager was unavailable to deal with my late message of complaint. It was my daughter's 21st and I had sent a special request for something special to be done on the morning of her bday - nothing was done and this fact ignored. Overall Disappointing

The views were exceptional, however the linen in the room was smelling . The carpets smelled, and the overall aesthetics were lacking. For the premium price charged

Bad experience

Service makes a facility, without this you can have the best property and area but bad service is the deal breaker.

Staff were unprofessional, no formal welcoming, no orientation, no available/reserved parking for guests. Young guests who were very loud through out to the early hours all weekend. Breakfast cold and wrong orders, no juice available, room not cleaned , lounge area clothes and shoes lying on the floor, smoking indoor, pool area dirty etc.

Such a bad stay for such a large amount of money

The location was good. There was a parking spot fir us. The reception was very poor. No explanation. Just. They’re the kitchen. The house was in a terrible dirty state.

The cleanliness of the house is under question. Towels were dirty. The kitchen was in a terrible state. The next morning the receptionist was still asleep at 9,30 am lying on a couch in the lounge

AMAZING !!

The view is AMAZING !! For the sunset Lovers !! I extend my trip 3 times , just mind blowing , definitely coming back next year !

The staff had some guest over swimming at the swimming pool , so we had to share the swimming pool with unknown people which took our privacy away in the morning the staff were loud while serving our breakfast , we were eating our breakfast with all the ongoing noisy conversation, I think the staff should be more quiet to let people enjoy their breakfast in peace , after a phone call with Patrick , everything was solved so i don’t think this is something common , the swimming pool had a prob first 3 days so we couldn’t swim in it :( , but again Patrick took notes and gave us a free massage + a lil price reduction on my extend. And came personally to fix the problem which in my eyes was verry professional. Everything negative somehow turned positive by the way Patrick handled the minor situation .

I love the property so much I was not able to leave from the staff to the beautiful breakfast massages in the general amenities. Everything was just perfect highly recommended. There were drunk people lying on the couch in the morning. The kitchen was filthy. The room wasn’t prepared properly. No cups until we asked. The breakfast was mediocre.

There are no essentials like shower gels or water. Unfriendly staff. Sliding door and balcony were dirty. Sliding door is a struggle to open and close. The AC did not work well, they told us to time our usage of the ac so that it works properly, even when we timed ourselves, it still had issues. Unprofessionalism from the stuff when we were asking for assistance with showing us amenities or any assistance…their cleaning should be improved, other than that there are spectacular views to enjoy from the villa

The venue was great.

Unfortunately the manager has decided to open the house to all her friends and family. Paying guests are confined to their room as the friends are occupying all the lounge and patio area. Young babies are also welcome with a few kids crawling around the floor unsupervised. This is not the image I had in mind when I paid. The no hens and stag party rule is too ensure they don't compete with the friends party. It went on untill 2am with slamming doors and crying babies. This is not an upmarket accomodation, it is a house share with others that do not respect anyone else staying thier. Please avoid this house at all cost. I have never seen anything like this before.

Pleasant

The breathtaking views and spacious penthouse suite. The magnitude of the house and the deco / art pieces too. The infinity pool was also great although it was winter time and couldn't dip in. There was a multitude of utensils to make use of in the kitchen

The AC was not working. The commonly used areas ie. bedrooms and kitchen need professional cleaning. The carpets and baths are stained. The kitchen stoves, walls, pots and pans, granite tops need cleaning attention. The hosts could be more professional when there are guests around. They use the same common spaces as the guests ie. TV lounge, kitchen.

There were loud characters downstairs taking over the bottom part of the home, we are almost sure they used some illegal substances also. That spoiled the evening a bit.
