Photos give the impression the outdoorspace is much bigger than reality. Pool and terrasse are very small and workers were busy in this area during our stay. Restaurant not open in the evening.

Great time in Camps Bay, but should have booked a B&B and saved our money.

The position.

Too many stairs, particularly for elderly people. Too much clutter in rooms and common areas. The breakfast room was so tiny the guests were banging into each other. Get rid of the bar stools, excess plants, towel basket etc. Our bedroom (10) was like living in a dead end tunnel - ghastly. Lot of maintenance needed also.

Wonderful relaxing stay in perfect location

The location was exceptional - wonderful views of the sea and easy to get to shops and beach. The room was large, well-equipped and very comfortable. All staff were excellent and made a positive difference. It was a bonus that the hotel had a good sauna, which we didn't know about before. Breakfast was very good.

A few small maintenance points - a water leak took a couple of days to resolve, room safe malfunctioned, steam coming out of sides of faulty kettle and a fire extinguisher that wasn't attached to the wall properly fell on my foot, luckily without injury. We were assured all would be fixed for the next guests.

Very good stay

The location was very good especially the fact that we had a sea view room and the stuff pretty helpful .

I had to carry my luggage through the stairs quite challenging . Also at some point the wifi was very slow in our room .

If you get a room with a sea view and was to be in Camps Bay it’s fine for a few nights but there are lots of stairs so

Our room was large with a nice terrace overlooking the ocean and Camps Bay

The breakfast room was too small and stuffy for all the guests and the pool furniture was damaged. Although I had arranged for them to organise a driver from airport we were not met.

The hotel is in a great location and if you are lucky to have the sea view room you will love it

We got a very dark room with barely any daylight , just next to the reception. It was damp and not really enjoyable. We stayed in two other hotels in Cape Town that were much more comfortable and a lot cheaper

The place was not in good standard,i didn’t feel like I’m at camps bay,very disappointing.

The staff was very nice and helpful,the guy came to the car and grab my begs so that was the most noticeable part and I was hoping all is going to be perfect 🤦🏾‍♂️

Property was old,bed was old,too expensive for one night,R6500 per night is really unnecessary for that accommodation,they need to revise their rates it’s so unnecessary,but besides There’s nothing exciting about this place,furniture is old,there’s no Proper parking,there’s no order at at.their couch by the pool is also old😩 I’m just out of words ,I’m very disappointed,

The whole hotel is in need of refurbishment. My wife walked around the room in bare feet and the soles of her feet were filthy in no time. Opposite a sewer works that was being emptied by Lorries, dreadful smells. Maintenance is very low in the building. Locking our bedroom door was an effort plus it kept rattling due to being ill-fitted. 🤷‍♂️ Access to our room was like going downstairs to a dungeon. Overall disappointing. 3 star at best.

Camps Bay with a view…but too many stairs !

The view of Camps Bayfrom the balcony was super.. Some of the staff were helpful and pleasant.

The layout of the rooms was rather strange. As a party of travellers at 60+ it wasn’t really accessible for us as we had heavy luggage and there are lots of stairs to access bedrooms. Staff weren’t forthcoming to help with this task 😬

Superb location overlooking the beach and sea. Minutes walk to restaurants and shops. Staff very nice and made you feed welcome. Views and sunset particularly beautiful. Super nice place to stay in Camps Bay!

Staff were exceptional and friendly. Our room was number 7. We had the most amazing bathroom that was similar to a hammam! The breakfast was lovely and the hot food was superb.

Perfect stay with a sundowner balcony and delicious breakfast

Perfectly located in Camps Bay in the first row to the beach and the sea. You wake up with the sounds of the waves and in the evening the balcony is perfect for a sun downer. We even spotted whales! Also the breakfast is so delicious and you can chose from plenty of yummy options! And the staff is perfectly helpful and friendly :-)

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good stay here. Mattress is very old and needs to be changed, WiFi didn’t work for 2 days and the staff weren’t very friendly. Shower is not very powerful. There was nobody at reception when we were checking in so we had to wait for someone to arrive.

A lovely place to stay for a few days in Camps Bay.

Beautiful sea view rooms. Large comfy beds. Felt very safe and secure. Ideal location on the Camps Bay seafront opposite the beach and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Ideal off road parking. Very friendly helpful staff.

The room we had was sea facing so the view was spectacular. Everything was really very comfortable and super convenient in terms of access to restaurants, beach etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful, thank you Asanda!

One bedside light was not working, we did report it but it did not get fixed while we were there. everything else was great!
