Besides the beautiful views, I would not stay there again, and I did mention my concerns to the owner who did not respon

The property had beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets

Unfortunately, there are a few things I did not like about the property starting with the very cheap and thin towels. The bedding comforter was also very thin and when I asked for an extra blanket, they said no. I’ve never been refused for extra bedding? The parking was not sufficient, not enough spots for the amount of guests and also terrible incline parking spots

I loved every minute of my stay and wish I stayed longer.

I loved the beautiful ocean views from our unit. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. Cant remember her name but she was awesome!!

African Groove Camps Bay

Great location and quick access to beaches and city centre

The place really needs maintenance and something to deal with the smell in the room. Staff do their best, but be aware the rooms are old and need TLC. Simple things like light fittings in the ceiling need proper maintenance, the wall paper can either be replaced or simply just glued again. The pillows are horrendous and the bedding can be replaced. Mattress was excellent. If you can stomach little irritations for a great view and location then its great value. Parking is tricky but ok, and there is no help with luggage.

Idyllic location, an amazing honeymoon

Beautiful location in a very quiet area. Amazing view from the bedroom window looking out to the ocean, perfect for relaxing and watching the sun set. Lovely staff who were on hand when needed

We did not stay at the property as it was very very dissapointing

On arrival at the property we were guided to our room which was an uneven wooden flooring with worn out rugs, the bed mattress was on top of wooden pallets, the wardrobe had a broken handle and there seemed to be blood smears on the wardrobe door,after entering the bathroom we found that the sink basin had a large series of cracks which were dirty and had black mouldy sealant that was coming away from the tiles, the shower basin also had black mould around the sealant. The whole room had a musty smell.The swimming pool had murky water and had a number of leaves floating. After seeing all this we decided not to stay at the property and requested a refund of our pre paid payment, we then had to find alternative accomodatiopn after which we had done so we were then offered a different property, however it was too late as we had already paid for alternative accomodation. after speaking to the owners via watsap text messages we were offered only 3 out of 5 days refund which was paid back nearly 2 weeks later. I am not satisfied with the partial refund as the property was not as described in the advert, nor was the property as shown in the photos, very very dissapointed. Our friends accomodation was also very poor and I am sure you will get thier revew soon.

The property looked scary, considering the locations of the rooms. Break fast was set in the owners kitchen. which made it very uncormfortable to eat. it felt like paying to squat in somebody's home

We wer 4 ladies celebrated our 50th birthday. We had a superb stay and loved every moment of it!

The location, we were safe seeing that we were just females. No noise levels, no one that made us feel unsafe. We had a wonderful weekend.

We thought our stay would include breakfast. But it was well explained. Maybe you should just put a little note about breakfast. Our one basin was clogged but the cleaning lady rectify it. The shampoo and conditioner holders was empty. Thought it would have shampoo in. They should just look at the curtains that got stuck when we want to open and close. First night we slept with open curtains that showed to the road. I didn't have a problem with it but for future references. The lady did fix it the Saturday afternoon.

A memorable stay.

I really enjoyed the million dollar view and the comfort of the room, along with the welcoming smile and treatment by staff.

Not that there was anything I did not like. I would recommend that a small microwave be made available i event one comes in late with own food.

The location is superb… with a breathtaking view and gorgeous sunsets.

While the property has potential, my overall experience was disappointing. The policy states that guests must lock or close the gate, yet on three different occasions I found it left wide open. Housekeeping was hard to reach — I had to shout across the property just to get an iron. Breakfast was not available; we were told it isn’t stocked due to low demand, but this was never communicated before booking. My partner’s phone also kept connecting to a device in the room above us through an unfamiliar music app, which was unsettling. The listing promises “no noise,” yet I experienced the opposite — people shouting children’s names around the property and constant heavy footsteps from the room upstairs made it difficult to relax. Finally, although “available parking” was advertised, my Uber driver was forced to move almost immediately by a patrol car, which was frustrating. Overall, the stay did not match the expectations set online.

A dreamy and unforgettable stay with breathtaking views and exceptional hospitality.

I reserved the Buffalo Room and it was amazing. The room beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the ocean and Table Mountain on the side. Everything was super clean. I also used the shared kitchen, and I was really impressed by how organized and well-equipped it was – even better than expected! It’s perfect if you prefer to cook during your stay. The reception staff were truly incredible – so helpful, kind, and generous with their time. They made my stay truly memorable. I’m very grateful.

The rooms are stunning with beautiful furniture. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the view of Camps Bay from our room was really amazing.

The room was incredibly warm at night and the AC didn't bring the temp down. It was 27° and we have a 3 month old.

Bubbles and bliss

The views from the tent and it's private jacuzzi were excellent. The facilities in the tent were also great, we were very comfortable. We have had multiple enquiries about the accommodation from friends and colleagues who want to experience it for themselves and we will definitely be back.

Lovely, cozy property, but messed up our booking and may be misleading customers with online images

Location was great, quite close to the beach, staff were friendly, place was clean, and once we overcame the initial confusion (see didn't like section), the accommodation was charming and comfortable.

We received email confirmation of our booking, but the staff did not anticipate our arrival and could not locate our booking in their system. After several phone calls back between staff and acknowledging our email confirmation, they decided to accommodate us anyway. The room they gave us did not match the room images we saw when making our booking (in fact, they matched a room in the other building as they have two for the property) and it was clear this was not the room we paid for. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they attempted to convince us the room we were staying in was the only one that matched the description of what we paid for, a family double. So either their images online are inaccurate and misleading or they were deceiving us on arrival due to availability constraints. Though if that was the case, they could have been transparent and said as much.

To much attention is given to decor and not enough detail to comfort.

Great view!

Parking is a big problem! We only had 2 pillows in a room booked for Three people and no extra duvet for the couch bed. Room had a bad smell of gass due to people warming their hands on the gas stove in the kitchen down the hall.
