Really good hotel and area for Cape Town visitors

Great building. Modern but in keeping with heritage designs. Management are also great. They needed to move us for a perfectly reasonable reason. The manager went way beyond to make sure we were okay with it, and got my kids a great fruit bowl. 10/10 servicd

Lovely hotel and in a great and vibrant location.

Location was brilliant! All the staff were very helpful and supportive. We were travelling as a young family with 3 year old and 11 month old. Parking was great and secure. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a view of table mountain!

There could be more tables for breakfast and dinner. Felt there wasn’t enough seating for the number of guests.

It’s a new hotel ,very nice building and decoration in a very convenient location with many restaurants and bars around. Large rooms with nice amenities

The staff could be more friendly. Our first day in the Hotel when we arrived was really awkward and disappointed as the agent at the front desk was very snob and not friendly at all. Didn’t welcome us, didn’t smile at all, just made the necessary procedure and gave us the key card, not even some details about the hotel, the services, the breakfast, the wifi. Also, the staff at the restaurant was unexperienced, many mistakes, couldnt handle the breakfast and the service was poor.

Comfortable city stay, with everything nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Canopy. The breakfast and coffee were great. The location of the hotel was perfect as well. We had a car for the duration of our trip all the attractions felt nearby. We were easily able to visit the Waterfront, the Lion's Head and even Camp's bay. There were also great dining options right around the hotel.

I understand it was holiday season, but I wish the nightly rates were bit more reasonable. Nothing else comes to mind. It was a very comfortable stay.

Cape Town splendid at the Canopy

Originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying 2 weeks enjoyed it so much. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety, location to kloof street restaurants and shops ideal and easy access to waterfront. Gym was top notch for cardio and stretching. Staff were wonderful and friendly! Internet also excellent with comfy beds and a first class shower!

The pillows were a bit soft for our liking but we are nitpicking as everything was great!

Absolutely recommend to everyone!

The breakfast was one of the best I had in the world! Absolutely stunning. The staff is super kind, the room was really clean and the location was perfect.

On check-out day, check-out is at 11am so I did not like someone knocking on my door at 9am to ask me through the door what time I was checking out.

Wonderful hotel in great location

Great and safe location surrounded by nice and trendy cafes, restaurants, supermarket, chemist etc. Fairly easy 1km stroll (or Uber) into the CBD. Rooms were really comfortable. Hotel buffet breakfast was excellent

The A/C in my room didn’t work for two days. The first service person who came declared that it was fine, but the second person who came (after I complained again) immediately noticed that it wasn’t working properly and arranged repair. The staff just need a bit more prompting that I’m used to in order to get what you need

There is so much to like about this hotel: great aesthetic, cleanliness, professionalism of the staff, great food from the restaurant and brilliant location to get around the City. I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

The property was nice inside and in a nice area

The management of the hotel was poor especially on F&B. Prior to my booking the property asked for any dietary requirements, for which I communicated to them all my allergens and they didn’t have anything for breakfast to cater for gluten free diets/ celiacs. Moreover, the labeling on the food was incorrect. It says that they serve smoked salmon but it’s trout. The staff were very friendly and tried to fix when they could but I think the issue is from the top level. Moreover, they had a fire alarm go off at 22:00 and our room was full of smoke and it smelt really bad. The General Manager kindly changed our room for the last night but then we were woken up again at 06:00 am by a false alarm. Apparently the fire alarm in the hotel was going off due to external issues which were out of their control… it seemed quite strange and all in all very badly managed and staff didn’t look like they knew what they were doing.

Awful, dirty

The decor

This stay was AWFUL. This is just a beautiful and well decorated hotel with the WORST service we have ever had: - Breakfast (eggs, bacon,tomato) and a simple tea took more than 30 minutes (which we complained and ended up leaving to have breakfast somewhere else) - the water glasses, towels, pillowcase at the room are NOT CHANGED or at least washed. We found a glass from the previous day DIRTY. The pillowcase was DIRTY with my make up from the previous day. -There was a false alarm at 6AM nobody could at least give a proper reason for waking up us up that early. We reported all that to the concierge, TWICE, he said he would get back to us but all we found was a CANDY and no apology. The disrespect with the guests is UNBELIEVABLE and UNACCEPTABLE!

Amazing Hotel with Great Staff!

The location & Great Staff! Especially the Sommelier Lungi. She has a great knowledge of all the wines in South-Africa. Zolani the waiter, such a wonderful supportive person. And the Exec Chef Bradley, we have had dinner 3x times and they where above expectations!!

Super staff, great location

Super friendly staff, they tried to accommodate all requests to have a relaxed and carefree stay. Good and safe indoor parking available. Spacious rooms with nice, comfortable beds. The hotel is new, which is very nice. The location is superb within Gardens, and many nice restaurants are at walking distance. Nice views on Table Mountain.

Service at breakfast was a little chaotic sometimes. Flavors and dishes were very good though.

Hotel with attention to detail

With several restaurants and bars in the same city block, no need to drive to the dreaded waterfront to get a meal. I also really like the court yard, open air space without leaving the perimeter of the hotel. Staff were not just friendly and effective, but seem really trained

The central aircon in the room is loud, even in the lowest fan setting. And no way of not using it, as the windows don't open

A gem in Longkloof

Such helpful and friendly people. Big comfortable bed with big pillows and mini fridge and coffee maker. The room was serviced daily and a restaurant was housed within the hotel serving all meals. Great location in a vibrant neighbourhood with restaurants and shops nearby. V&A was approximately 10 minutes by car and Camps Bay 20 minutes. Had a view of table Mountain from my bedroom window.

Nothing comes to mind and I enjoyed my stay.

Location. Interior design. Views. Ambience. Staff. Spacious and well laid out rooms. Tranquility. Bathroom has decent amount of amenities and robes and slippers. Shower has good pressure. Basement parking. Great breakfast and restaurant opens up to a quiet, spacious and open terrace.

No access to YouTube, Netflix, Showmax i.e. Smart TV (maybe yet) Waiting for a liquor licence but lots of restaurants and bars around. Less than a 5 min walk.

Отличный выбор для отеля в Кейптауне

Понравилось расположение, близко ко всем достопримечательностям, безопасно. Интересный дизайн отеля, все новое, очень стильно оформлены интерьеры. Большой комфортный номер на 4-ых, удобные кровати. Превосходные завтраки! Выбирали между другими отелями в Camps bay, Waterfront, sea point, немного сомневались на счет расположения. В итоге нам очень понравилось здесь жить, с удовольствием вернемся снова.
