Finchley Guesthouse is a lovely place close to the beach with multiple nice restaurants. Closeby is Table Mountain and if you drive for a bit you can visit Boulders Beach (penguin beach). The rooms in the guesthouse are very roomy and the bathrooms have a bath and separate shower. The beds are comfortable and large! We had our breakfast included, it was very nice. We got to pick how we wanted our eggs every morning.
Communication with Wayne was very friendly and fast.
Our youngest son unfortunately forgot his plushies at the guesthouse and Wayne was so kind to contact us and even go above and beyond to forward them to our next address in South Africa. Would very much recommend Finchley Guesthouse both for the spot in Capetown, rooms and very friendly and competent people taking very good care of their guests.

Staff is 10/10, especially Wayne — a true ray of sunshine! His dedication is unmatched; he even came and helped us with an adapter outside of his working hours. He’s the ideal employee with a heart of gold who solves every request instantly. Big thanks to the team for the spotless cleanliness and delicious breakfasts.
The guesthouse is a peaceful dream and feels practically brand new. The elegant white aesthetics are stunning, and the views are easily the best in Camps Bay! Our room was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality linens and ample wardrobe space.
Everything was flawless. This will always be our only choice for Cape Town. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
